Craziest part is that, that’s not even the craziest moment in bowling history, their is a video that shows unlucky moments in bowling where their were 2 lanes when both bowlers bowled on at the same time, the pins that were knocked on both lanes one of them stood up.

Most of those splits happened because the ball was too heavy. it did not deflect enough to cover the 10/7 pin. Same for Randy's shot,if the ball had a tiny bit more deflect it would deflect into the 8pin. just look really closely and you can see.

Nice. I have to imagine throwing the ball that fast you have gotten a few weird leaves that you don’t see everyday. I haven’t personally left a 5-7-10 yet but it’s not to say I haven’t tried. Something I have done this season more than I remember in any other is leaving pocket 7-10s. I have left more of those then I want to admit. I think I still have a picture of it somewhere. I would have to look. I did it when I was alone so of course I’m screwing around for a little instead of actually practicing. I know I took a picture of it as you just don’t leave that in serious bowling. I’ll try to find it for you.
Edit: Now that I’m thinking about the 5-7-10 is one of those split you can leave with a 6-10 pound ball then turn around and pick it up with the same ball just because of its deflection. The way I always picture myself making it is taking my strongest ball and getting it to tap the 5 to hit the 10 pin and the ball deflect off the 5 and hit the 7.

Sorry, as an old school boy who grew up in the 60's on wood lanes with a lacquer finish (and, yeah, I eventually 'assimilated' to plastic lanes and the early generations of reactive bowling balls - I gave it up about 18 years ago when league conditions got so easy that one could shoot a 279 and not win the pot or get out of the bracket) - I find it hard to feel for bowlers who leave the solid 9 with those insane angles of entry into the pocket. Solid 8 - yeah, that always stunk and still does - can't even imagine how it happens with those entry angles. And this nonsense of being so far left as to be playing the 5th or even 6th arrow??? Would love to see them try to do that on lanes with over-ground ball returns.

    Pba gutter balls?

Might be a good idea but I can think of just a few. Rhino Pages 2 gutters, Pete Weber’s, Chris Barnes’s, Marshal Holmans double gutter, and Del Ballard’s. At most I’d say a 1 minute video, could be good bonus content though! Thanks for the idea!

Look very closely, just before the ball hits the pins, it rolls straight and you definitely want the ball to have a curved ark going into the pins, when it rolls straight like that it’s called, “rolling out” or “dying” not sure if you’ve ever heard those terms before but there you go!! :)

RazzerRaw he throws 16 lbs but his ball had absolutely no power going through the pins causing it to deflect

Barnes ball quit right at the pocket to leave that.
That was at the Weber Cup in England where they only bowl on ONE single lane so you can imagine it getting pretty torched.

He is one of the nicest and most humble bowlers I have ever been around. Been knowing him for the past 11 years.

Prather makes me hate watching every single one of his matches somehow. His whole attitude is just angering.
