Dear Rebecca, you made me so curious about Santa Barbara and California, so that my husband, my daughter an me travelled to your region (actually it was Redondo Beach, L.A.) last autumn. Now I can say: It is indeed paradisiacal there! :-) You are lucky living there under palm trees and under the warm sun. Lucky you! We have cold winter here in Germany right now.
