I truly like these kind of sequences, where the choice of music compliments the scene and sets the perfect mood. Here we have a great example of that. I am really glad that the directory did not select the usual, mainstream crap kinda music or any random club music that you hear these days for this shot. Here, you can really ´feel´ that this is quality. in fact the whole club setting looks so much expensive, that it requires that same type of quality sound. His plan indeed was to pass out knowing that Tommy boy would try to save him and possibly get killed in the process. In fact, he was probably just faking being passed out.
Why is MI always with extreme heights? The Burj, the cliff fighting scene in this movie, this scene. I am more afraid watching it than Tom doing it. Love that last bit. Wack!! “Were’s the needle?” “Didn’t need it.” 😂😂
Upon rewatching this scene I never noticed a little on the nose foreshadowing when Walker asks, “so what do we do when we find him? (Lark)” and Ethan scans Walkers face and gestures to the computer, “we will take his identity”.
