I know people crap on gt but you can't deny the story and villain ideas were pretty creative, similar to z with the red ribbon army having revenge on goku (cell and androids) - we have the remaining tuffle attempting revenge on the remaining saiyans. The villains from the past all come back just to get defeated. And the final battles being with the dragon balls themselves feels like such a massive twist (even the explanation adds up quite well)
