The SOUNTRACK at the beginning of the show of A2K is produced and written by JYP himself and it feels like all the girls that has been accepted has covered it being the singing voices. I feel like we’re gonna see more of their capabilities and talents on the 2nd part and I hope we’ll gonna see even a single JYP and Republic Records artist to guest in the show as judges that would be so epic!
Imagine they invite 2-3 members of itzy lol. Or possibly even the whole of ITZY on one episode or some guest features of skz. Not sure if they will rlly be having anyone though bc it seems there will be a part 2 that takes place in Korea with the possibly paired down contestants. If there would be a time to have a guest feature, it would most likely be then.

The gal with guitar can become a country western artist. She sings like one. She would be a great addition to a girl group if they ever create a song with a country western vibe.
ngl, if you’re still trying to be an idol i suggest auditioning for Chuang Asia (Produce 101 China / Thailand, very big in China). they’re very open to white/english speaking contestants ❤

It depends on your specialty but we all had to 2 songs and 2 dances for the first audition. Most of the auditions you see are just clips of the best thing the auditioner did.
Not that I’d want to go bc I have no interest in being a kpop idol (I don’t even like too many people knowing my name at uni), but yeah you were still extremely lucky that you got to experience that day or even apply at all. Even after they bumped up the age range by a year it was still much too young for me to audition bc I was 19 at the time. If I had the slightest talent at singing and dancing and didn’t struggle with it like a broken cow, maybe I’d have auditioned if I were younger bc of the ease and proximity and just experience in general (great way to meet a group of kpop fans right?). I wonder if other companies will go through with plans like this show cause idk if you remember Nct Hollywood but they were supposed to do a unit i America but that obv got eventually scraped (they said upcoming Nct Tokyo is last extension). Maybe hopefully if they had the age range at 20-23 for the oldest, I’d join thanks to you. It’s sort of inspired me lol. But I’d have to do my own intensive boot camp to cure my two left feet 😅.
6:16 People analyzed the backs of contestants that received the pendants in the various split second previews and these two girls were matched to a preview.. meaning they did pass but didn't go to boot camp for whatever reason. I forget the real number but it was around 15 unique 'backs' identified meaning at least 4 girls fully passed but didn't go to boot camp
That also happened in tokyo Niziu ...the girl who's already part of jyp also auditioned. And they where saying that she's to be part of itzybut they instead put her onthe audition to debut in Japan and be the leader
for the 2 girls that were shown in the episode but didn’t get a necklace, i heard that they were actually accepted but left the show for personal reasons
I wonder was that in Hollywood Blvd building? And those girls will be going into JYP LA studio in ❤ of K-town. BTW SM LA studio is about 1000 ft south of JYP . Even heard other major K-POP entertainment company R planning 2 open up in LA. Like HYBE N YG. Hope all other dreamers who want 2 🐝 a KPOP idol have a chance in US especially Lala land 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I don't know why they only take in 12 people to be on the show. I wish to see at least 20 people on the show compete and somehow improve. It be amazing to see a person who doesn't know how to dance get better at dancing. I mean all the girls in the show can sing. One thing they are not good at is dancing.
I was going to signup but I’m 20 and taken vocal lessons. I was wishing that it would have been 12 years and older. But, for me who wanted to tell my story behind music because my dad that abuse me and was born with a birth effect anyways I always have to wear a brace in my shoe to dance.

When you go see JY Park did you have to do both singing and dancing? Some contestants did only one and not both

that was Mako, she trained with the Itzy members. 2 more of the Niziu members were also jyp trainees (Miihi and Rima)
