Bad Company are an English rock band formed in Albury, Surrey in 1973 by singer Paul Rodgers, guitarist Mick Ralphs, drummer Simon Kirke and later adding bassist Boz Burrell. Peter Grant, who managed the rock band Led Zeppelin, also managed Bad Company until 1982.
"Ready For Love" "Feel Like Making Love" "Live For The Music" "Burning Sky" There are DECADES of hits with this band! Thank you so much for reacting to Bad Company! One of my all time favorites! Paul Rogers still performs live and kicks ass. One of the best voices in rock!
Think of the old west, cowboys etc. Paul Roger's voice is one of the best in rock. Rock Steady, Feel like making love, Rock and Roll Fantasy. Before Bad Company Paul Rogers was in a band called Free. Check out All right now by them. Cheers 🇨🇦✌
I was 15 and my buddy cut a stencil from the album cover and we spray-painted t-shirts. I was a "pirate" then and years later I'm probably still "Bad Company" to hang around. Great choice. Thanks!!
Free was great! Killer tunes and band. I pretty much like them better than this band but you got to give Bad Co credit. They had a bunch of great tunes and live performances. They were all buds with the Zeppelin crew and were on the same obscure Swan Song label.
Hey Biz! It's Jen here! YES, I'm most definitely a sub WITH my bell on. I adore your reactions (especially AC/DC - you get such a kick out of Angus!) I checked your channel & you haven't reacted to one of my top 5 favorite bands!! Please consider reacting to Foo Fighters. Here's why: 1) The lead singer/guitarist, Dave Grohl, was the drummer for Nirvana before Kurt passed away 😢 2) Dave wrote every song & played every instrument on the first album 3) They just celebrated 25 years & their 10th album 4) It's impossible to pick a song because they all rock 5) Their concerts are lit! They play for 2 1/2 - 3 hours. 25-27 songs 6) Dave handed over his sticks to Taylor Hawkins & he is a killer beast on drums. 7) Pat Smear is a legendary bass player 8) They are nominated to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame this year 9) Dave Grohl is a bad ass rock God but is also the coolest & nicest guy in Rock & Roll. 🔥"THE PRETENDER" 👈start here "Learn To Fly" "Best of You" "Everlong" - the official video is distracting from the lyrics in my opinion. After Led Zeppelin became huge, they started their own record label (distributed by Atlantic Records), called Swan Song Records. Bad Company was one of the first musical acts Led Zeppelin signed to their new label. I had the pleasure of meeting Peter Grant (Led Zeppelin's manager) many years ago, and he told the story of how Zeppelin were practicing for an upcoming tour in a warehouse building that many bands would use to practice in. Peter walked down the hallway to get a cup of coffee. As he passed another band room whose door wasn't fully closed, he overheard a song that captured his attention. He could hear the song was great, that the band sounded fantastic, and that the singer was phenomenal, so he stood outside the door until the song was finished, and when it did, he opened the door and seen Paul Rogers and Bad Company, and the song was "Can't Get Enough" (which I would highly recommend you check out next). Peter knew Paul Rodgers from his days as the lead singer of the band "Free". After saying hello, Peter asked Paul if they were signed to a contract. Paul said no, (but he wasn't being fully truthful), so Zeppelin signed Bad Company to their new record label. It wasn't until Bad Company's debut album was getting ready to be released that Peter found out that Paul was indeed signed to an individual recording contract, so Peter had to negotiate with the guy who held Paul's contract. The guy finally agreed to release Paul from the contract with the stipulation he would receive 2% of all Bad Company's future royalties. So after all of that, Bad Company's debut album was released on Led Zeppelin's Swan Song Records. As for the band itself, Bad Company is amazing. Powerful, soulful, with Paul Rogers, one of the greatest singers to ever grace the planet. Again, it would be great to see you check out the song that got the band signed to their contract, "Can't get enough". Peace
Bad Company, "Ready For Love", "Feel Like Makin Love", "Good Lovin Gone Bad", "Movin` On", "Can`t Get Enough" "Shooting Star", "Silver, Blue & Gold", this is good start, many many more, keep going.
This song is about a bad company in the armed forces. This was also used in the war against Saddam Hussein's army. It was played throughout the night. Blasting in the night desert.
HA! I love how you feel the same riffs and accents that always made me rock out to this song and band! Mic Ralphs sliding guitar leads and gritty sound, Simon Kirk's solid and expressive drums, Boz's funky bass, and of course... Paul is THE VOICE. This song has it all!
Hey Bizmatik, nice to hear this. Paul Rogers is my favorite Rock and Roll voice of all time, perfect blend of blues and grit. Bad Company needs some more attention from you. Here's some more great tunes: Runnin With The Pack, Shooting Star, Rock and Roll Fantasy, Ready For Love, Can't Get Enough of your love. Paul Rogers and the drummer Simon Kirk are from the band Free songs like "Alright Now" and "Wishing Well". Thank you for more of this. Much love!
Paul Rodgers - one of the all-time Rock voices. Bad Company was one of the very early "Super Groups" with members from Free, King Crimson and Mott the Hoople. Check out "Shooting Star", Silver, Blue & Gold, Ready For Love, Feel Like Makin' Love, and one of my favorite Free songs "Wishing Well"!
Paul Rogers is a phenomenal vocalist pianist and songwriter who still got the goods! I seen him live with Bad Company a few years ago and his voice was 90% of what it was, amazing band as well...
First time I heard Bad Company it was this song. It was really dark and I was sitting on the floor with my husband and another couple and I was very stoned. The year was 1974. Best way to hear them. Love them!!
Underrated '70-''80s band. Many hits from which to choose. "Rock and Roll Fantasy" and "Run With the Pack" are two worth a listen. The core of Bad Co. -- Paul Rodgers (vocals), Mick Ralphs (lead guitar) and Simon Kirke (drums) -- were previously part of Free, which had a major hit in 1970 with "All Right Now." ruclips.net/video/lSdBtoIIYT4/видео.html
Dude you need to do another Bad Company song! “Feel Like Making Love” “Deal With the Preacher” “Can’t Get Enough of Your Love” “Burnin Sky” “Rock Steady”
Great reaction to a cool song. You will want to react to "Feel Like Makin' Love" and "Shooting Star" by Bad Co. A little trivia for you. The song "Bad Co." By Bad Co is on the album entitled Bad Co. Rock on bruh!
Bad Company n Led Zeppelin were the first 2 bands I was turned onto along with a big fatty by my brother I was just going on 13 in 76..I'm now 58 Been glued ever since..!! I AM A ZEPPY HEAD THOUGH Love your reactions..ROCK ON MY FRIEND ✌💜🎧🎸
"Feel Like Making Love" and "Shooting Star" are two of their big hits. You may recognize the first one..... I can't imagine a soul on earth who hasn't heard at least a piece of it somewhere....... Both are excellent!
Led Zeppelin signed Bad Company to their Swan Song label. I saw them play at Art Park near Niagara Falls, NY 2 summers ago and they were so very tight and played perfectly.
Yeah Bad Co. doesn't have a huge repertoire like Zeppelin, but they have some good tunes, and Paul Rogers is a solid singer. Biz, after you hear more Bad Co., check out some stuff from The Firm. It's a project that Paul Rogers and Jimmy Page did in the 80's.
BTW if you like Paul's voice sometime check out his tribute to Muddy Waters, his solo record "Muddy Water Blues". He has a slew of guest guitarists on it. Slash of Guns and Roses, Jeff Beck, Neil Schon of Journey, Brian May of Queen, Steve Miller, Trevor Rabin of Yes, Gary Moore of Thin Lizzy, Buddy Guy, David Gilmour of Pink Floyd, Brian Setzer of Stray Cats, Richie Sambora of Bon Jovi. All Muddy Waters songs, holding down the rhythm section on these tracks are bass player Pino Palladino, and Jason Bonham Drums. It's good stuff!
I love this band. I was able to see them in 1990. Paul Rodgers is one of the greatest rock vocalists of all time. You should check out Rock N Roll Fantasy, Shooting Star, Running With the Pack, Silver Blue and Gold to start with. The 70's were great!
First two LPs are really great from Bad Co..... so glad you're loving this great 70's music mate...... i picture more like 70's Denim as opposed to leather jackets and cigarettes...
Catching up on Biz......Bad Company...very nice. Paul Rogers can sing, that’s a legit vocalist. Minor chords on intro....yes......sounds like a sad story coming.......🎼🎶🎹🎹🎤🎸😎🔥🔥 I think this is in a movie called Young Guns.....I might be trippin, anyway- I write as I listen. Check out Silver, blue and gold...great song, tough vocal. ❤️🔥🔥
Reminds me of the Wild west Jesse James Billy the Kidd ( old west outlaws) I just picture a dusty town & outlaws either riding in or gun-slinging shoot outs on the street in saloons or while robbing banks or holding up trains I was listening to this album with my high school friend Mary D back in '75 smokin Marlboros drinking Southern Comfort & playing the air guitar
Bad Company came from and even grittier band named Free. Other Bad Company songs I would suggest are Can't Get Enough, Rock Steady, Ready for Love, Good Lovin Gone Bad and Movin On to start. The singer and drummer came from the band Free and they had one of the biggest hits all time in All Right Now. Other great Free songs are Fire and Water, Wishing Well, The Hunter, Woman, The Stealer, Songs of Yesterday, Broad Daylight, and too many to mention
My favorite "rock singer" yes Robert Plant, Yes Freddie but my prototypical rock voice is Paul Rodgers! Saw the Firm - that's as close as I got to Bad Co or Led Zeppelin live. TONS of good songs by them.
I love Bad Company. “Feel like Making Love”and “Shooting Star” are my favorite songs.
Yes. Those are my two favorites.
Yes, "SHOOTING STAR"...

One of the best voices in rock!
Add my vote to shooting star, feel like making love and all others mentioned below. Paul Rodgers has one of the best voices in rock
Bad Company off the album Bad Company by Bad Company...
Same thing for Black Sabbath
Think of the old west, cowboys etc. Paul Roger's voice is one of the best in rock. Rock Steady, Feel like making love, Rock and Roll Fantasy. Before Bad Company Paul Rogers was in a band called Free. Check out All right now by them. Cheers 🇨🇦✌
Yes! Alright Now is a great song!
And of course The Firm
"Burning Sky" and "Electricland" will Blow Your Mind. First Concert I ever went to in '77
I was 15 and my buddy cut a stencil from the album cover and we spray-painted t-shirts. I was a "pirate" then and years later I'm probably still "Bad Company" to hang around. Great choice. Thanks!!
Lmao..Your crazy love it...you look like someone enjoying rocking out....Shooting Star, Rock and Roll Fantasy... Thanks.
Bad Company was the only other band besides Led Zeppelin to be signed to Led Zeppelins label Swan Song!
Yes indeed! Zeppelin's record label!
Detective, Pretty Things come to mind.
Great fact Sean!! Very impressed u knew that. Not many people do. Keep on Rockin!
Paul Rogers, the lead singer, was in a band called Free. He also was front man for Queen for a while after Freddy Mercury passed.
He has an amazing voice
Free was great! Killer tunes and band. I pretty much like them better than this band but you got to give Bad Co credit. They had a bunch of great tunes and live performances. They were all buds with the Zeppelin crew and were on the same obscure Swan Song label.
Also joined up with Jimmy Page and formed The Firm in the mid 80s

🔥"THE PRETENDER" 👈start here
"Learn To Fly"
"Best of You"
"Everlong" - the official video is distracting from the lyrics in my opinion. Most consider it to be their best song & even though the video was shot by a famous director - I would close my eyes & just listen! 🤣
If you actually read all of this - God bless you! 🙌🤣 Thanks for your consideration, Biz! ❤🎵✌

"Bad Company" is good in my opinion but if you wanna hear some bangers - here's heat👇
"Feel Like Making Love" 🔥🔥🔥
"Shooting Star"
"Rock & Roll Fantasy"
SOA is in my top 3 shows! Opie's death was horrific! 😢 However, I thought that the way Gemma died & Jax died was brilliant & fitting for their characters. What did you think?
Saw them in 1974 in Spokane Washington do this tune live, they opened for the Edgar Winter Group, it was a fantastic show.
I saw the same tour concert in Seattle. Bad company and edgar winter with Rick derringer 1974
I saw Bad Co. open for Deep Purple in Sacramento at the Fair Grounds. Probably the best concert I've ever seen.
Paul Rodgers.........One of the greatest voices in Rock!

"Shooting Star", "Silver, Blue & Gold", this is good start, many many more, keep going.
Paul Rodgers is such an amazing singer still in his 70's he's incredible
Two of the members from this band actually came from a band called "Free", in which they had some very good music, notably the song "Alright Now"
Before Bad Company, Paul Rogers was the lead singer for Free. Two great songs from them were "Fire & Water" and "It's Alright Now".
Mr Big.
This whole album is classic! Not a bad song on it.
This song is about a bad company in the armed forces. This was also used in the war against Saddam Hussein's army. It was played throughout the night. Blasting in the night desert.
"Shooting Star" is another great Bad Company song!
Rock n Roll Fantasy is a must listen by Bad Company.
Cool how you also picked up on the biker vibe.... been riding all my life! Paul Rogers has one of the best rock voices ever..
It’s the song “Bad Company” from the album “Bad Company” by the band “Bad Company”. The lead singer Paul Rodgers is an amazing vocalist.
This song brings me back to being 16 years old again watching the submarine races at the local makeout place.
Most under rated band in history...so many hits...so many great songs...
Agree ... great group.
Don't think they were underrated. They were huge here in Australia in the 70s
I was Born in the wrong decade. Quality bands you're reacting to 🙌👏
Another dope band to check, saw them 5 times, one was at Harpos in Detroit!!, 2 times at "Pine Knob", then back to "Harpos!!!! Rock n Funk!!!!
HA! I love how you feel the same riffs and accents that always made me rock out to this song and band! Mic Ralphs sliding guitar leads and gritty sound, Simon Kirk's solid and expressive drums, Boz's funky bass, and of course... Paul is THE VOICE. This song has it all!
Bad Co. grew out of an earlier band called Free. Free's biggest hit was All Right Now but they did other great songs, such as 'Wishing Well'.
I've listened to this song hundreds of times on the radio in the past decades. This remastered version sounds way better.
FINALLY! I love Bad Company and no one ever reacts to them! Thank you! Another great band to react to- RAINBOW!
I saw Paul Rogers singing with Queen, and Slash jammed with them on "Can't Get Enough". It was at the Hollywood Bowl... damn that was 15 years ago!
The great Paul Rodgers on vocals. Love it!
Much love!
Have you heard Fog Hat Slow Ride
Driving Wheel by Foghat!
Foghat is a totally underrated band (at least their first couple albums). I love 'I just want to make love to you' and 'My Babe'.
Total banger 🔥
Yeah. Everybody's heard that overplayed song
Have you ever heard of Ride On by ACDC or Seagull by Bad Company. What about Silver Blue and Gold. Slow Ride? Really?
Paul Rodgers - one of the all-time Rock voices. Bad Company was one of the very early "Super Groups" with members from Free, King Crimson and Mott the Hoople. Check out "Shooting Star", Silver, Blue & Gold, Ready For Love, Feel Like Makin' Love, and one of my favorite Free songs "Wishing Well"!
Paul Rogers is a phenomenal vocalist pianist and songwriter who still got the goods! I seen him live with Bad Company a few years ago and his voice was 90% of what it was, amazing band as well...

Paul Rodgers is in that category of great vocalist 🎤🎶♥️
I'm new to your channel..love it
Thank you
Bad Company.... Legends
My favorite Bad Co. song
Bad Company - Simple Man Gets my vote
Next you need to react to Budgie - "In The Grip Of A Tyre Fitters Hand", a huge slab of 70's hard and heavy funk-rock throwbackness!
Bad Company, Rock Steady and Burning Sky are good tunes just to name a few.
Pual sings in the same key now as he did in the 70s
Paul Rodgers, one of the greatest voices ever.
My favorite "rock singer" yes Robert Plant, Yes Freddie but my prototypical rock voice is Paul Rodgers! Saw the Firm - that's as close as I got to Bad Co or Led Zeppelin live. TONS of good songs by them.
