I made a 12" long wing for the left side of the blade because I got tired of spillage. Save me a lot of clean up time. It was mounted on a pipe inside of a locking collar and pipe so I could adjust height and angle and the main part was two pieces of rubber belting sandwiched over a steel bar. Would 100% do it again if I ever moved where I needed snow removal equipment.

My grandfather had a cub. Got to drive it once when I was about 10 and almost ran over my dad. Grandpa had a single bottom plow and sickle mower, don’t believe he had a snowplow for it. Never saw the plow on the cub but he did use the sickle mower a lot in the summer, mostly cutting the grass at the local park and baseball field. Don’t know what became of it after his death. You did a great job of plowing. My dad had a John Deere H with a homemade plow that we used. I love the old tractors, such simple tech knowledge.

Ya done good. In conversation with a big CNY farm operator, he said they add extra weights vs. loading tires. Much cheaper n easier fixing flats and a whole lot less wheel rim deterioration. Which brought back some memories of issues experienced with my 450 I'd acquired from a late neighbor's dispersal auction. He was the neighborhood go-to for fixes.... and there I learned again that the painter's house is always needing. . ..
I swapped a Grove Super 10 from chassis too for a dealer for a set of those double ring chains... they work the nicest.... (for me).

Hi from eastern Ontario Canada, and NO we don't have any accumulating snow yet, so no need to plow.Don't you have duals for that cub, and a carry-all for the back? Duals would give you more rubber on the ground for traction, and some cinder blocks on the carry-all to give that extra needed weight. Just a thought! Maybe the duals would make the track wider than the blade, would be interesting to measure it all out.

Could have just let it melt this weekend when it gets back to the 40s and rain.
Then again you do drive a Ram, not the same. 😁😁

I've done that before. And then I end up with 2 inches of ice on the driveway. But yeah I think we are going to melt ninety percent of this... Oh wait you and I have the same trucks 😆

I'm in a hole where I only got about an inch but it was blowing and the roads were a sheet of ice. You had a wet snow and I hate to plow wet snow on gravel. So much gets pushed into the grass. I do try to pack it down.
I thought your cub would be light on the front but it looked like you were able to go straight without having to use your brake. You ever think of putting weight on the fast hitch? 40 gallon oil drum with sand or stone?

Doing a great job moving that "2" of snow that was commented a few videos back that was all a cub was good for pretty sure you were doing a lot more than 2 inches. Fifty degree weather took my 4" of snow away this time thanks for taking time to make the video

How did your late corn turn out? I
looked for a corn cultivating video, also did you get your other storage shed out up this year ?

It turned out really good. Most of the stocks only had one year but they were huge. I'm talking with a couple of companies and determining what type of building I want

You literally put the blade on less than 24 hours ago. This ain’t your first rodeo. Reading the tea-leaves! It’s what guys do!

Could you make some kind of weight box to hook into the fast hitch

Would I be crazy to wonder if those duals I saw in a past video might be in order?

      I've thought about it 🤔

Question to me would be, could the tractor hold up to the pressure of the much weight and traction. Would be cool to see.
