I’m a Deere guy I don’t even like farmall. I just like watching this guy. I have been watching almost 2 years and suddenly bought an international garden tractor. Now im looking for a cubbie. Something is wrong with me.
Never had a farmall 'til I got a '48 cub. Sold it. Now I have a '48 & a '50. Have weights, plow, mower, and cultivator. Cultivate all spring with the '48. Now have a super A sitting in my garage for 3 years waiting on a coat of paint. Just don't have time during the summer.
The last battery in my Allis Chalmers D17 lasted 11 years that's no heated and Minnesota cold. When I told the dealer that I wanted that same battery he said that they don't make that model anymore, go figure right?
I don’t know why, but I find watching snow being ploughed so relaxing. In sub-tropical east coast Australia falling white flakes are a sign of dandruff, not winter. I subscribed ages ago and have enjoyed all you can offer
I know a lot of cold weather farmers used to have mains plug-in coolant heater kits fitted to make starting easier and reduce battery, starter motor, valve, and cylinder wear. Doesn't anyone use them anymore? I love to see ploughing, snow or dirt.
Excellent video Gino :) I new weight on back help on Cub for you and you said wait also see too! Plus both of correct on did and yes batteries not built like used be also three grades basic , medium duty , heavy duty ones all it Cranking Amps on + & - temperatures plus Reserve Amps higher number 90 to 175 best used anything under 90 is not worth buying because need boost in super cold or super hot days ! For instance Gino it Basic could be 750 Cold Cranking Amps for + temperature one part want at 850 or higher # , also on - want 750 or higher # on cold temperatures part , 90 or higher numbers for Reserve Amps up to at least 210 ! Reserve Amps is for Cold & Hot starts number means 1 amp is 1 minutes if Alternator or Generator quits gives so many get home from feilds or farm work to back a garage or machine shed to fix problems if battery or cables or Alternator or Generator needs fixed! Don't turn headlights or 1 amp be like 30 seconds draw flat battery faster so want keep off much as possible! Hope that helps myself battery I buy anymore is medium to heavy duty because more Cold Cranking Amps on + - plus Reserve Amps # (number) is higher and get to place need too get help or service like boosting! Hope help and plates bigger also better may get 5 to 6 years than 4 or less years on basic ones! Also Gino if get refill ones use Distilled Water in cap cells or clean snow or rain fill up ! Don't use tap water or bottle company ones corrosion up and kill battery plate plus life to fast! Hope my suggestions hear help you out and like share that with you also everyone too!
Not sure if it was a slip of the tongue to say IH 2150 paint. I think its to "orange" for these beauties! Harverstor Red #50 would be circa 19 Fitty-Fiveee! Keep on keepin' on!
Always love your show, have my coffee and watch plowing of snow. Know what i have seen think I'd install the electronic ignition, unless you are constrained by original system. Electronic ignition will really wake it and save your battery and starter. Saw it on other equipment and it works, long and short of it. Keep on keeping on.
I’m looking to buy a what is claimed to be a 1953 farmall super A and boy does it look sharp! But that cub is sure nice, bet it gets the job done pretty good!
It looks like you have a winner with the disk on the back. If a little more weight is needed, one could always put a couple of cement blocks on the rear rack of the disk, very simple, very effective.
On my compact tractor I had the bucket loader on the front at the same time had the back blade on the back mostly for weight. Made a world of difference on traction.
Love the video I wish I could get my 48 cub out and have some play time but all I have is a set of cultivators and here in craztfornia not much use for them anymore
Nice work! I have a question about mid mounting the blade, does it work for snow removal or just dirt/driveway smoothing, sorry if it's a poor question.
So I read the snow delivers 2 - 12 pounds of nitrogen per acre per year to the soil! That is as good as growing soybeans! And you don’t have to do the work!😂😂😂
the little cub is doing good my dad has a little Cub about the same year as yours with the same front mount blade and it works good . he does have chains on his
25 degrees and above is good for plowing. The front end looked pretty good where the tires were straight instead of you turning them to the right to keep the snow moving to the side. You have a lot of cast iron sitting on those tires.
I had a neighbor with a rowcrop M double ringer chains and a 10' plow that was unstoppable in our windblown country setting. That M could move some heavy snow and drifts as well almost effort- lessly.
I don’t understand why you would crank it over until the battery was almost drained. If you know it’s hard starting, why not use a starting aid of some sort?
Question: Who manufactures the red and white shed you own? My father is interested in yours, and I was wondering if you could share who made the building and how to get in contact with them.
@@FarmallFanatic also thanks for replying to my question about your loader on the 400. I answered the question you gave me in return in the video you made at the very end of 2023.
Would definitely make your life a lot easier I have them on all my tractors even with glow plugs plug them both in wait 15 minutes and see you got to go by
Have you checked the ignition timing on the cub? Mine was about 4 degrees retarded and was very hard to start. After advancing it back to where its suposed to be it starts much better.

Yes
🤗😂🤔
That cub pushed that snow like a champ outstanding job on pushing snow. That's why I like red power 👍👍
Farmall tractors plowing snow. There's something about it that I'll watch it over and over again.
I'm shocked every time this cub moved something it shouldn't be able to
@@FarmallFanatic It's amazing how much those little cubs can push.
I say it again. The little tractor that could, did and still does!
Great video, the Cub does a nice job of plowing snow 👍
Cubbie did a great job with all that snow. This weather is crazy, one week in the teens and snowing then this week 30's 40's 50's rain.
Good job on video red power is cool cub does good job plowing snow
I miss running my Cub. It needs some repairs and haven't had time to fix it. Yours did great with the snow!
What all does yours need?
@@FarmallFanatic Some seals, brakes, the throttle is stuck mostly wide open, and some other minor things.

Nice
Does a good job. Wet and windy here with temperatures in the 50s. Could do with some dry cold weather. All the best 🇬🇧.
Great idea putting the disc on the back! Thank you for sharing my friend!

I love to see ploughing, snow or dirt.
I've seen a couple of them
The red of the Cub and the white of the snow look great together!
In the current climate the world is in right now I think it's safe to bring the missile attack back at the beginning of the show
Atleast the cub will survive any missile attack
I like the kaboom!

Hello Gino looks like works great. Maybe next time try with out disc then with to show difference. Yes I think over 2 years now watching. Thanks sir
Sounding good and working like a champion. You will find that pin after the snow melts. Atleast you know it's on the farm, lol. See you later.
I was actually just thinking about that l o l
Just wondering why you use the little tractor when you got big tractors and do it quicker. Just wondering. Good video and thanks for sharing
The more seat time the better
That thing seems to get around pretty well
Definitely does
You have more snow in PA than we do in northern MN.
Not anymore
Never underestimate a FARMALL

Gotta love the AAR

Lol
I just watched a kubota advertisement on this Farmall video!😂😂😂
I've been talking to people about those tractors, and all of the sudden ads are popping up 🤔 ... That's not freaky lol
We got ice. It's supposed to warm up but more rain..more ice then too probably.
Stay safe brother 💪🏼❤

Good action video Farmall 💪 been wondering when we were getting some Red Power 💪💥 action 👌hope your doing well health wise 👍 cheers 🏴
I'm hanging in there thank you for asking

Throw electronic ignition on that. I have it on both of mine along with the Hamilton Bobs Carb and mine fired right off this morning.
I actually might
Mine has a leaky headgasket and she fired right up yesterday. Its a 12v though.@@FarmallFanatic

Great little tractor ! 🇺🇸
What battery do you run in your cub. It fits nice in the battery box.
I'm gonna have to check.. all I know is I pull it out walk into the auto parts store and place it on the counter lol

Can't stop red power
product called battery equalizer if your battery isnt sealed supposed to bring batteries around..havent tried it yet available in Canada and USA
I have heard of that
It actually works really good with just the way down the rear end and no chains
I agree with that
Nice work! I have a question about mid mounting the blade, does it work for snow removal or just dirt/driveway smoothing, sorry if it's a poor question.
I believe his set up is just for snow. But I’ve seen a couple old fords with dozer blades.
I've never seen anyone use the mid mount as a snow blade, but I guess you could always try it
Just looked back at this. I read it completely wrong.😂
So this spring, are you going to start building your new barn for your tractors?
Yep
So I read the snow delivers 2 - 12 pounds of nitrogen per acre per year to the soil! That is as good as growing soybeans! And you don’t have to do the work!😂😂😂
