Well, good gravy Marie..I GOT IT! And that lovely way of casting on meant when I had somehow messed up about a third of the way back, having two colors the same next to each other, I could just pull off to that point and re-cast on! I have the first row completed and NO DARNED LADDERS ON THE BACK! And for some reason, no Sufi twisting of the yarn!. Thank you! I have watched many videos, and even some of my tried and true designers didn't carry through or explain enough for it to make sense. On to row two!!

Not everyone is experienced or very knowledgeable in the subject so they appreciate the more detailed videos that’s why they look things up on YOU TUBE😀

If you put an additional stitch on each side and knit with both yarns together every row, you will have neat sides. Just an another way to do it.

you can do slip one purlwise with yarn in back, then next stitch slip one purlwise with yarn in front for last two stitches, turn work, work first stitch knit in back loop, twist yarn, then start your purl. Makes a really neat edge

it does matter which stitch is first when casting on. For example if my knitting pattern leads with a dark, I cast on the light first, so when I turn, the dark leads.

Speed it up, please. Seven minutes into this video.....7.....you take your first stitch.....our data plan with our ISP doesn't support a large amount of data in video use. Thank you.

I agree. I dont know why people have to blah blah blah so long. Get to it faster.....95% of videos could be done in such a shorter amount of time if they just get going on the project.

Love your video; however, practice dropping the 'um' at the beginning of every sentence.
