Deathbrewer There were even talks to bring him back into this universe, even for just a Netflix series but it never worked out unfortunately.
Deathbrewer the first Marvel Theatrical release was Captain America back in the 40's but on your logic Punisher was released before Blade. Technically Spiderman and X-Men were the big releases until Marvel had released the first film of the MCU which was Iron Man.
