The day after their performance at Primavera Sound, the Swedish band Dungen came to the studio to record their own Furious Session.
After playing Häxan, this hypnotizing and (so far) unreleased instrumental song, we witnessed something magical: sitting on the sofa, Gustav began to compose a new song that we also recorded and hope to show you soon.
Here it is the best example of psychedelic rock, all made in Europe. Amazing.

The Furious Sessions is a joint project between the Sol de Sants Studios and the video production company RiD Produccions, this initiative consists of live sessions in which video and sound are recorded without restrictions. The bands make use of the finest and most modern equipment, ensuring their music reaches you with impeccable image and sound quality.

Reading the comments. Glad guys you like this! Still one of my favourite things we've recorded in the studio. Dungen are great guys and their music is just amazing.

@@aponlinevideos That's the one! Sadly it was never released in Europe and to get it posted here the shipping was crazy (they quoted me literally around €50!)
an absolute masterpiece with dark Nordic undertones.
It reminds me of a slow Amon Duul II + Soft Machine baby, which I'm kind of in love with. I'm very picky when it comes to Dungen albums and honestly their debut album was my favorite, alongside 4. They give me very late 60's early 70's vibes and that's my entire interest timeline. Amon Duul, Soft Machine, King Crimson, Pink Floyd, and finally a band comes to pick up where the experimentalists left off. Happy to see a revival of the best music of all time, along with jazz fusion, which these guys definitely incorporate into their music. Overall this man is a mastermind and he's definitely picked up some great musicians to work with him. I'm happy to see this band finally come around.

it is just fantastic ! Undoubtedly, IMO, one of the best bands performing nowadays in the area of psychedelic/space/post-rock or how you may call this amazing music.
I just discovered this band and i got directly hooked! Some guy from Fleet Foxes band was somehow part of their "Häxan" Album cover art.. and showed this record. What a trip! reminds me in some ways of Oresund Space Collective, Band that also play very trippy Jam. I think their Instrumental album will reach a wider audience! All the best to them and great music!

You’re right. I’ve been to their concert in 2016 and They played one of Bo Hannsons pieces as cover. „Buy this record!” Shout Matiias from the stage (meaning The Lord of The Rings) ... and he repeat it about 7 - 8 times. 🙂

They released a short video on their facebook page where they were listening to the record on vinyl with the text "test pressing approved" a while back and I read in an interview or two that it should be released later this fall. :) So it's coming!

I see a fuzz face for sure on the floor and a wah wah, and a Klemt Echolette over the amp.
Reine use klemt echolette Ng 51, shaller Fuzz pedal from the 60's
I've got a Klemt Echolette, they do sound amazing. A pedal I'm using on my board now, last in line after delay/reverbs is a Hudson Broadcast. It seems to do the same squashy-warmth and the lovely feedback spots when you've got a wah first in line. Hi, It is a Sinmarc head. Great Spanish amps made in the 60's and 70's (Most of them are Fender based amps).

Great performance, awesome tune. But the relentless white noise cymbal bashing was mixed too high and became irritating, but other than that, wow!
