Reading the comments. Glad guys you like this! Still one of my favourite things we've recorded in the studio. Dungen are great guys and their music is just amazing.
@@aponlinevideos That's the one! Sadly it was never released in Europe and to get it posted here the shipping was crazy (they quoted me literally around €50!)
It reminds me of a slow Amon Duul II + Soft Machine baby, which I'm kind of in love with. I'm very picky when it comes to Dungen albums and honestly their debut album was my favorite, alongside 4. They give me very late 60's early 70's vibes and that's my entire interest timeline. Amon Duul, Soft Machine, King Crimson, Pink Floyd, and finally a band comes to pick up where the experimentalists left off. Happy to see a revival of the best music of all time, along with jazz fusion, which these guys definitely incorporate into their music. Overall this man is a mastermind and he's definitely picked up some great musicians to work with him. I'm happy to see this band finally come around.
it is just fantastic ! Undoubtedly, IMO, one of the best bands performing nowadays in the area of psychedelic/space/post-rock or how you may call this amazing music.
I just discovered this band and i got directly hooked! Some guy from Fleet Foxes band was somehow part of their "Häxan" Album cover art.. and showed this record. What a trip! reminds me in some ways of Oresund Space Collective, Band that also play very trippy Jam. I think their Instrumental album will reach a wider audience! All the best to them and great music!
You’re right. I’ve been to their concert in 2016 and They played one of Bo Hannsons pieces as cover. „Buy this record!” Shout Matiias from the stage (meaning The Lord of The Rings) ... and he repeat it about 7 - 8 times. 🙂
Amazing, simply fucking brilliant. You guys should really release the soundtrack you did for Lotte Reiniger's The Adventures of Prince Achmed - It was sooo good! Or at least show it a few more times :)
They released a short video on their facebook page where they were listening to the record on vinyl with the text "test pressing approved" a while back and I read in an interview or two that it should be released later this fall. :) So it's coming!
I've got a Klemt Echolette, they do sound amazing. A pedal I'm using on my board now, last in line after delay/reverbs is a Hudson Broadcast. It seems to do the same squashy-warmth and the lovely feedback spots when you've got a wah first in line. Check this little diddy I recorded when I first got the Broadcast, Tele->Donner wah/vol->Donner analog delay->Catalinbread Talisman->Hudson Broadcast->Completely clean Laney Lionheart: clyp.it/2uj2kkno
Joakim Hentula, I remember your article on the carlin compressor (from 2012) and it's nice to know that you have the Klemt Echolette now! I am on a similar journey and would you love to ask you a few questions. How can we get in touch? PS. the tone in 'stream of consciousness' is outstanding! some serious Bo Hansson vibes. Cool composition
What a band. Monster drumming, Gorgeous bass, Spectacular keys, and that Reine guitar...
Reine Fiske is a fucking wizard. Amazing performance all round.

Thanks for making this recording, truly amazing work. Any idea if this will ever be released?
@@reimertz_ This recording is featured in a vinyl special edition they did
@@aponlinevideos Oh, you know which one?

an absolute masterpiece with dark Nordic undertones.

probably one of the most slept on bands in recent memory. absolutely top shelf playing
even better than the record. amazing performance!

Total goosebumps every time - and this is like the 10th time.

Oh…this is so fucking good…100% pure perfection.
Sensing Bo Hannson vibes, The Lord of The Rings album or Magician's Hat. They hail from Sweden afterall.

@@tomaszgrzesik3916 interesting, that must have been quite a show! thanks for sharing.
reminds me of Focus....great song. thanks
Perfect. I've been hoping for an official recording of this particular song ever since they played it in Cinemateket in Stockholm in 2014. Love it.
At their best, pure musical ecstasy, what an underrated band!
Could a drumkit sound better than this?
Yes, i think it's a '60 or '70 Rogers, isn't it?
Wow, good eye for detail. It is Rogers from the 60's
It is one of the drumsets at Sol de Sants Studios
cymbals drowning out the mix a bit too much imo
Peter Fugl no i think that's the sound he want to reach for
@@TheBullllshit I kinda agree. I'll keep that in mind when I mix my own drums :)
sooooo, sooooo good. so very excellently good.
favorite guitarist!

Agree. So fucking happy that I saw that show.
As far as I know they will actually! :)
(very soon even)
Really? Got any more information about it? hope so ;)

I always love seeing these guys do their thing live!
So many live at Pompeii fuzzy good frelings happening...
So incredible...just...ugh damn so good!
At 6:00, all the planets align. Absolute perfection.
Couldn't said it better myself. This song is my favorite live performance.
This is absolutely amazing !!!! 🥰
I see you in primavera sound. I take a photo with Mattias after de gig. you are awesome
very good and VERY Pink Floyd.
I wonder what kind of pedals the guitarst is using here, sounds amazing!!
I see a fuzz face for sure on the floor and a wah wah, and a Klemt Echolette over the amp.
Reine use klemt echolette Ng 51, shaller Fuzz pedal from the 60's

Fantastic band. Proud to be swede ;)
This is another grateful part of Saucerful of Secrets.
Come to brazil one day
Ufff, que máquinas, Pink Floyd entre otros deben de estár orgullosos.
I love Dungen!
that guitar sound, geez luiz !!
This is art!
Jag ❤️er... tack för senast!
They. Are. The. Best.
Fantastic
Wuuuuhuuuuu very very nice.
The studio version of this song pales in comparison to this masterpiece
Happy you like it, they were inspired no doubt!
oh my fucking god
a perfect song
Amazing, thank you!
impeccable work!
YES!!!
So good!
Glorious
6:09 Jaw dropped
Sheer genius!!!!
Elegant psych prog w/o the tropes!
Jag vet inte hur många gånger jag lyssnat på denna.
Wow what are those cymbals?
They are too loud.
What amp is the guitarist using? The Echolette is on top of some kind of fender blackface.
Hi, It is a Sinmarc head. Great Spanish amps made in the 60's and 70's (Most of them are Fender based amps).
Mecki Mark Men feeling
Combined with some Bo Hansson. Great combo! :D
THIS IS THE STUFF
Watcher of The Skys
Why does this version contain a awesome climax while the spotify version is just the build up?
YES
musikalisk orgasm!
EPIC !!
They must be Pink Floyd fans ;) , great music guys.
Wow.
dat which
I've just noticed that the drummer is holding the sticks backwards. ;)
Huuuuuuuuuuuge !!!
I am humbled whenever I try to cover Dungen on the drums.
0:20 Marek Grechuta - Niebieski Młyn
fucking epic...5:59-6:19 is pure fire!!
The Witch? Well that is truly haunting.
Wild...
Heck son?
I account for at least 50 of these views
ofak!
Why does the guitarist have straps on the head?
IDK looks cool tho lol
Great performance, awesome tune. But the relentless white noise cymbal bashing was mixed too high and became irritating, but other than that, wow!
What up with the zip ties?
cracked headstock I think
