    Bob is one of the few artists that i would pay a irresponsible amount of money for a painting.

    Bob created magic in his own way, everytime you watched him. There would appear a tree or a stream before your mind.

    I'm confused I thought none of his paintings were sold?

      @speedocowboy 4 месяца назад +4

      Apparently before he was famous, he sold thousands of his paintings at flea markets & fairs. He was quite prolific.

    Maybe I'm wrong, but didn't he always sign them in red paint?

      This one is dated 1978, so it's 5-6 years before his TV show started, so maybe it was more of a signature move then

      @@jerrywallop5647 She may mean that it was similar to her painting. A lot of his paintings have elements and techniques that he used frequently.

    People put down Thomas kincade at one time, now it's all copycats of his type of art.

    I would rather buy these paintings than a painting of a tomato soup can! Most of modern ART is trash.

  • @bokhans

    Sorry but that is trash and could only sell in the USA among individuals with way too much money. I am sure the guy was very nice but he was no artist. They make these types of paintings in factory studios in China by the millions. Same motive over and over again.

      these were made to teach people how the basics of painting, not to reflect his talents. Plus they were painted in like a half hour so its not as if he had time to get really technical and fancy.

      and yet, less tacky than a picaso.
      Art is ONLY in the beholder and its ONLY worth what others are willing to pay.
      Great Movie
      " Who the Fu&k is Jackson Pollack?"
      A must for anyone who thinks they know anything about art.
      Another is ....
      "Exit through the gift shop" A banksi film.
