This episode gets me every time, because I meet someone in the lowest point of my life, she didn't know about it, but falling for her and being together with her saved me...
Then, using the words of House in a later episode describing what happened in this one: "She changed me... and then she left"
I feel like we've all been there. Rebounds come in all forms.
Maybe she wasn’t the one…
Whatever your feelings are rn, keep it up. You'll either find someone worthy of your time, or you will learn to be a full man on your on way.
@@BBBB-gv5kg Just a tip for your next motivative text: If you use abbreviations like "rn" it makes it less powerful. It screams: I don't have time to type right now, you are not important.
@@agustinbarquero8898It’s a formality thing. If you want to motivate in the informal, it’s okay to abbreviate some of the words. For some people lots of formality is too intense, informality can lighten the mood and meet people where they’re at. In general you just have to be able to read the room
_'I like being alone. At least, I've convinced myself I'm better off that way. And then I met someone. She changed me... And then, she left.'_
The opening episodes for Season 6 were the toughest to watch, we were entering the final few seasons of House, where he really started to deal with his psychological issues and evaluate his life and his relationships.
This Doc was the only one to truly check House and make him better, a true achievement!
The interesting thing is House doesn't try to deconstruct her to her face, like he does with literally everyone else.
Well when you like a chick tearing them apart and showing them their flaws isn't a good strat
The season 6 beginning is easily the best 2 hours of House to ever exist.
Agreed
I wonder what would’ve happened if House reached out to Dr. Nolan when Cuddy broke up with him. House takes and uses Vicodin as an excuse to avoid dealing with his emotional problems. After that, he uses sarcasm, coercion, and petulant bullying as revenge. Once House met his match in Dr. Nolan, House had nowhere else to go and nothing else to do. He finally reached out to Dr. Nolan for help.
Well House would never try to cross a bridge he's burned, admit that he was wrong and that he needs help. I think if he'd done that, Nolan might have been impressed enough with his courage and progress to possibly be his doctor again. We'll never know, but yeah, I think that might have been an option for House if he wasn't so pigheaded.
I always found "House" most compelling when it involved someone who he had no power over.
@@dars5229 In the series finale, House reached out to Dr. Nolan again.

Oh Captain. My Captain. T_T
NINE NINE!
HE WILL BE MISSED.. :_:
House is so much giving, in my view, of course, he tries to do almost the impossible for the girl / woman he is in love with , but ... Lord knows what goes wrong!
One of their most touching episodes!
I saw Run Lola Run last weekend and I was like… wait I know that face lol
Was that the captain from Brooklyn nine-nine?
Yes
Rip Raymond Holt
CAPTAIN HOLT
Yes. Andre Braugher. He was a great actor.
Without doubt "House" was the best program on TV
I agree. I just said the other day that I can't think of a show on network TV that is anywhere near the quality that House was. Hugh Laurie was phenomenal as House. His acting and mannerisms as an American were perfect ...along with his American accent, of course!
My favorite episode 😢
Dr House cuddy and wilson is kind loving to his patient unwavering age is just a number 35, 40,65, 60, 70, 80 sent
I find it odd that many people don't like the Mayfield storyline. It's my favorite part of the House series. The characters, the music, the cinematography, the writing...this is a television masterpiece. So moving.
What is crazy to me is that the woman House wants is actually married to the "Freedom Master" guy in real life.
Tell Jason Bourne that Marie is still alive !
If its Saturday, its Braugher R.I.P
This had to be the canonical ending of House....
Touching…
6:00 Oh DAYUM
Didn't this beautiful red head play Johnny Depps first girlfriend on BLOW? And Jason Bournes girl!
Ana Lenchantin on cello.
I know what that feels like 🙃
Good! I love House but this is exactly what should happen to people who knowingly date married people
can anyone give context of the scene when wheelchair dude passed the music box to the girl?
I'm fuzzy on the details but earlier in the episode the music box was locked away in a staff only area (behind glass, so still visible). Wheelchair guy makes a scene and starts pointing at it, saying the institution "stole her (mute woman's) voice box". I don't remember how he got his hands on it, but as we see in the video he gives it to her and she starts talking
The woman was catatonic, and is the sister of the woman House is having an affair with. For some reason, her seeing and hearing the music box broke her catatonic state.
The wheelchair guy was someone who had delusions of being a superhero (nickname Freedom Master) and House took him on a joyride of sorts, enhancing his delusion, which led to Freedom Master jumping off a building and ending up in that wheelchair. Since that incident, he too was in a bit of a catatonic state.
So you had a delusional person seemingly break his resulting catatonic state do a nice human gesture to someone else who's catatonic, which is empathetic and helpful, thus showing his start of recovery, and it broke her catatonic state as a result, starting her recovery.
@@DesolateMoodah yes, I forgot this too. I also can't remember how he got the box...
And the number one thing to remembr “but it doesnt make sense, how did that fix her?” She was in a catatonic delusion
Delusions dont make sense except to the person its happening to
How or why someone breaks from a delusion is often more a mystery than what causes it (assuming its not due to some underlying medical condition)
I definitely need to sleep, I thought I read how he got IN the box!
Lydia was a manipulative person taking advantage of mentally unstable person.
Easily one of the worst characters.
Weird how she gets skipped over when people are talking about evil characters.
I personally think that it was all made up from Dr Nolan, even though it is hard to believe

Hitting on a married woman. Are we supposed to feel sorry for him that his ill-considered affair didn't work out?
She's just as guilty as he is. She knows she's married but she went to him.
Yes, and it's exactly what most of us feel. I recall he didn't even know about it until this moment.
@@parkuristHe knew from the moment he saw her she was married, since she was playing piano for her *husband's sister.*
House was definitely wrong but deep down he might have hoped that Lydia would think of their affair as something more.
@@AB-yk2pq Oh well, I fully forgot what her relation to that gal was... Either way, House is the used, mentally unstable guy in this relationship, so much so that his misanthrophy disappeared and he started to actually love a person after years.

@@almabatekert_villanykorte3387He's referencing a scene from the Star Wars series Acolyte, a scene that every Star Wars fan agrees is the most cringe of anything that has ever happened in the Star Wars universe.
House actually was a really bad person in this show, he killed wilsons girlfrind (inadvertently), he helped multiple warried woman cheat with him. He did good, but he also did some really bad. He deserved the live he lived.
What was that description from Sherlock? “High functioning sociopath”?
Wilson's girlfriend died because a bus her and house where riding on was hit by another bus, and the impact screwed up her kidney's, which unfortunately meant that her body was unable to filter some over the counter cold medicine she was taking, and she was poisoned as a result. House did not cause the accident. He also got a bad concussion in the accident, but chose to put off treatment for himself, and spent two days trying to find Amber and save her for Wilson. When they finally discovered what was killing her, other injuries from the accident ruled her to badly damaged for a kidney transplant. No one could have predicted or prevented Amber's death, though House tried everything. In a later season Wilson admits that during that time he had coped by pulling away from everyone and everything and that had been unhealthy of him.
Remember guys, she's not yours, it's just your turn.
Just switch "it's just your turn" with " she's married."

The shows went for 60 minutes but they had to condense them to under 10 minutes by taking out unnecessary and repetitive content because the old TVs couldn’t hold anything over 10 minutes. The mondo Houser shows are very short always less than 10 minutes because of the primitive mondo TVs they had back then.
The old old old TVs could not hold more than 10 minutes of show even without nipnagel or shnibuts rhetoric as they used CRT Catholic Ray Tubs technology Motorola involvement and non Dylan Mulvaney CLT or Claw Technology. No harm no fowl. Crackhead Barney oversees the southerly wing of the flies we fight as fly fighters. Caitin Clark scores best against them. The fly fighters tried Dylan Mulvaney to shorten the shows advertising and tried to produce a non racist TV set with Motorola involvement with flypaper control and Dylan Mulvaney CEO.
The historically correct Crackhead Barney and a prominent associate of Dylan Mulvaney declined comment at that time but was very involved. So was Cat Clark on our side. Transgander influencer Dylan Mulvaney abandoned by Bud Lights and faced too much bullying and transphobia. Crackhead Barney is her team member in Chicago. The proof is in the pudding. It’s all part of the non racist Al Qawama discovering process
My experiences as a fly fighter ruined my marriage. After that I grew organic flies to sell and satisfy a market where none before existed. It was an unexplored business opportunity with a heretofore unavailable product. It may be you don’t understand all the concepts of what was presented.
