I majored in marketing but not specifically in journalism/communications, so I’m speculating here but it appears their objective is to firstly show the viewer that there will be two sides available to this story (since they show the suspect first) and also to make people wonder what exactly happened (catchy but vague title/fact-finding buildup). Also, many people are very “get to the point” these days, I think they’re trying to satisfy that as well. Again I’m just a lowly “marketeer” lol and these are just my observations.
