I like the Sainsbury's fresh range, they did a limited edition hot tikka masala a while back. You can get the masala, flavoured rice, four bhaji's and four samosas for around six pound, good value I think considering the price you'd be charged at a local Indian. Nice one Graham, thanks for taking the time to sample this Iceland vindaloo. All the best to you 👍👍
Hi Nick the Egg , thank you for the comment - this was not good at all in my opinion ! the sauce was average for its chilli rating more like a Madras but the Chicken was awful !! sadly the local Indian restaurtants round here are terrible - considering the huge Asian community you would think that there would be a decent one but sadly no !! have a great Bonfire night ! best wishes Graham :-)
Hi Ghosts of York , thank you for the comment , I prefer the hot curries and this one was hot but not as hot as it should have been ! yes it was Layla who is now on guard barking at every firework that goes off ! bless her ! wishing you a great weekend !! Graham :-)
66squeaky, thank you for the comment , this was Madras in heat but the Chicken was dire in my opinion !! I hope your Bonfire night goes well ! Layla is on guard and barking at every firework as it explodes !! best wishes Graham :-)
Good Morning Longvile and thank you for the comment - I like the idea of a nice crusty bread with this ! it is without doubt getting to that time of year and the temperatyre is dropping ! it is freezing cold out there this morning - I was out with the dog at 0600hrs and was glad to get back into the house !! have an amazing Sunday ! :-)
Hi Papparoni and thank you for the comment ! I suffer for my youtube !! lol the snoring could have been Layla or my wife as they were both asleep as I recorded it !! have a great Sunday ! :-)
Thank you for the comment magicknightvb I really liked the sauce it was the chicken that let it down for me , I have noticed just how much it varies in these Iceland meals ! have a lovely Sunday :-)
Oh vindaloo, never had it, yeah chicken can be boring sometimes much nicer with beef or lamb. My son likes a vindaloo!! Bought some lamb for tomoz, beef for in week and some pork for next weekend NOT chicken. Enjoyable review and bless Layla lol !
Good Morning Anna and thank you for the comment , I hope you have a great Sunday ! I agree 100% red meat seems to be much better - I like Lamb I have to say it is my favourite - not sure what we are having today but one thing for sure it wont be Chicken !! lol Layla was not happy with last nights fireworks but thank fully they did not go on to the early hours as they usually do !! :-)
@@grahamjenkinson3487 so pleased Layla and puss were ok! Missed black peas on bonfire night they were a staple in the day on bonfire night yum. Cooking a small leg lamb today as we went last week to a carvery pub and the food was terrible! So thought might ascwell make my own and it will be so very tasty! Have a lovely Sunday , outward love to you both my friend x
@@annacollier2936 Hi Anna thank you for the message - Layla and all 4 cats stayed in last night thankfully, it must be awful for animals , I cant imagine the fear they must feel on bonfire night it is all loud bangs these days ! whatever happened to snow storms , Crysanthimum fountains and Roman Candles ? those were the days when fireworks were on sale a week before the night and then off the shelves again ! I know I am getting old but goodness me it seems to go on for weeks these days , I will call round later for some Lamb ! lol home made is the way forward for sure ! I have had a few carvery meals at the Toby Carvery and have been disappointed, many thanks for your love and please accept our in return !! wishing you a wonderful Sunday !! best wishes always Graham . :-)
Hi my friend sorry you disappointed by this. My favourite is chicken vindaloo. But the real version.these things are never as hot as they are ment to be.i never understand why these things are dumbed down. Those that like proper heat never get it.because they tryto cover everybody's tastes and keep everyonehappy.grrrrrrrr.. Oh I miss the 70s and 80s. Pls try my asda vindaloo one day.its not hot as it should be .but tastes nice.cheers Graham
Good Morning Mark and thank you as always for the comment , I have to say I really like the hot curries like Vindaloo and Phall and this was nothing like a true Vindaloo more like a Madras - the sauce was really good and full of flavour but sadly the Chicken really let this one down it seems to vary so much in these meals - the nicest Chicken I have found at Iceland is that of Polish origin as it tastes like Chicken used to taste when I was a younger man - I will try the Asda Vindaloo for sure ! have a great Sunday my friend ,best wishes Graham :-)
