Chris Simms clearly didn't watch the football game.
How many games in a row does Lawrence have to lose to get any criticism?
Uh dude, Chris Simms on his podcast said Pederson was talking about Lawrence with the comments about play, and said Lawrence missed a few throws that would have won the team the game. He also talks about it in another clip on PFT. So no, they're critical of lawrence.

These guys clearly didn’t watch the game.
Obviously didn’t watch the game. You lames keep regurgitating the same tired talking points. DW finished the game with 75 percent completion, dropped pass which resulted in INT, 82 yards TD called back on penalty.
Desahun isn't the issue on this football team. Deshaun looked like himself running around for his life trying to make plays while the o line is missing assignments and even not blocking ANYONE sometimes. The defense has gotten worse and they look like they dont know how to tackle. It is very clear that you guys didnt watch the game and just looked at the box score and went with it. Is Deshaun as good as he was in Houston? NO but he has been slowly improving throughout this year.
Is Deshaun a franchise QB or not? Bc no one brings up Burrow's bad line and defense as the cause of their 0-3 start. Or Mahomes losing to Brady in SB 55 due to a bad O-line and turf toe. They have to take all the criticism, whether unfair or not. You either win or lose. And he's not winning. He was also paid a ton of money, and the Browns traded away a ton of draft capital to acquire his services. So, part of the reason why their O-line and defense are subpar is because of Deshaun. Losing three 1st round picks will do that to you.
@@jdeljones so deshaun is the reason why dawand jones lets edge rushers run right past him without even touching them, our receivers having the most dropped passes in the nfl through the first 4 weeks, and our run game being nonexistent? Not to mention kevins play calling hasn’t been his best this year.
@@ethan-decker But is it an L or not? QBs are evaluated on wins/losses and rings. No one is saying Mahomes beat San Fran earlier this year bc of Chris Jones and Harrison Butker. Media analysts are always saying QBs are the most important piece to a team. So Deshaun should be held responsible. Others are at fault, too, but let's not absolve him of any blame. Even when he has time, he's not reading the field and over/under-throwing guys. Part of the problem with the O-line is Deshaun isn't getting rid of the ball fast enough. He hasn't played well, regardless of the O-line and defense. Last year he also played terribly. But Chubb and Garrett and others were playing well, and the team was winning, so no one cared. Now that he can't rely on Chubb and has to elevate his game you want to bail him out with more excuses? Nope.
Cleveland got robbed of that long Amari Cooper TD on a bs hold call.

@@StayPuftMarshmellow If you had watched the game you would know that Cooper dropped a pass that went right to the defender for an interception, and then had like an 80 yard TD called back because of holding. 2 plays that impacted the game greatly. And neither was Watson’s fault

@@YOUNGCHRIS2K over 4 games. The browns offensive line has given watson the 9th most time to throw. They keep stats on that stuff. Watson should know on 4th n 3, they will blitz and he has to release the ball in 2-3 second. Instead he gets scared and just takes sacks. He has terrible awarness.

Despite what the watson fangirls will tell you watson still ranks at the bottom of the league in every qb stat, he’s dead last in epa and also is the least efficient browns qb since 99. He’s worse than Manziel, Charlie Frye, even Kizer. The reality is he’s really bad and no amount of coping is changing reality.

And the final stop by the Raiders for the win in the 4th was due to poor O-line blocking & great D-line rush.

The weak Jets are competing for the 7th wildcard, but you can say that because the Browns are not a playoff team. The teams that want Adams to a large part have high paid QBs and do not want to add a surprise $30M to their cap. Colts, Bears, Commanders make sense if they think they are a relevant playoff team.
They got to say something to get a take because they really didn't watch that game if Cooper would have caught that ball and they didn't get that holding penalty two touchdowns zero interceptions
Whether this one instance was Deshauns fault or not - hes played TWO TOTAL high caliber games since the browns acquired him.

Simms obviously isn't watching the games. Watson has actually looked really good the last 2 weeks. Especially yesterday. That defense can't stop anybody rn. The OL is horrid. And the coach has to be better. Browns have alot of issues to fix.

Agree with both of you guys, watson has statistically been the worst qb in the nfl this year and the last 3 years. He hasn't thrown for over 197 yards I'm a game since October of 2023. Now he's 1-3 and lost to giants and raiders and ranks 32nd in qbr right now. Flacco and baker both have looked phenomenal the last two years and yesterday. Cleveland fans wish we still had one of them.
Baker would never succeed in the AFC North. The Steelers and Ravens had his number. AFC South is another story.
