To me it's absolutely hilarious the whole 'Woolie should finally watch Hunter X Hunter'-bit has gone so long, because It took me about a week to finish the entire Anime.
Then it becomes even more hilarious because I can totally see Woolie going "so I finally finished it, and...shit was kinda rad" after the whole endeavor lol

Every single anime I've watched because of Super Eyepatch Wolf has been an absolute banger (Made in abyss, Kaiji, to name a few). But I have watched like 60+ episodes of Hunter X Hunter.... and I think it's one of the worst and most derivative animes I've ever watched. SHAME ON YOU, JOHN!

Nah terrible take. Just because it's a genre piece it doesn't make it derivative. Especially with how it flips tropes around in their head a lot of the time.
