- Hello everyone! I uploaded a version of Morrison's Jig for Tin Whistle that I hope you enjoy :)
I am looking to join sessions or group up with musicians in Leeds but I would also like to know more people in RUclips to share this passion with. Let me know in the comments of any video if this sounds of interest to you.
Thanks for watching my videos. - Видеоклипы
My Jack Daniels on the counter just turned into a bottle of Jameson...
haha!
Absolute comedy gold 😂😂😂
Cheers to that🍀
i'm drinking jameson whiskey and listening to this song
Shit my Jameson just turned into Tullamore Dew
That s the nicest sounding whistle I've ever heard
Untrue, but appreciated haha :D
It looks like a susato S series.
Don't put yourself down. I'm a mandolin player who recently started learning the tin whistle and you sound pretty awesome to my ears.
Susatos are awesome
Tbe power of reverb! But for a high D whistle, it doesn't sound too windy!
That’s the best whistle that’s ever whistled in my whole entire whistling life!
Believe it or not I just realised we are gonna hit 100k views in this video... say whaaaat? Can't believe it! Also, I'm gonna have 1000 subscribers soon despite not uploading videos in the last couple of years. If everything in my personal life goes as planned, I will be uploading videos in a few months. Hope you guys still around to share them with you :) Thanks so much for all the support.
Hi what tin whistle did you use? D?
Literally the best Morrison's Jig version !
his is my favorite still ruclips.net/video/xanUdU5psho/видео.html
His finishing was masterclass
Другой колорит,звучание более уединенное и загадочное,интересно сравнивать с первым исполнением.Браво!❤
This is the best version of this song I've ever heard
I'm trying to practise each day, (now im playing thin whistle for about 2 years, before i've played the side flute) but for me it's really hard to find particular sounds; I love Irish music, but because it is so fast, it's hard to learn, the more that I play by ear. But thank you very much for motivation😊
Get a book of slower Irish airs. Easier to play, very beautiful, and still have that distinct Irish sound. I bought this one: www.amazon.com/gp/product/0946005842/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Love them quick trills. Those are so hard to do well.
Wonderful! I think I need a Guinness Stout to accompany it!
Make it two!
You are not only fantastic man, but an inspiration aswell. I'm Irish-Canadian and listening to you play makes me want to dig deeper into my own roots and learn some traditional music.
Wow, man. This is probably the best thing someone has ever told me in all these years playing! Thank so much for this and I'm very glad that it inspires you.
Same here (only Irish-American).
Best Morrison’s jig on the street .
Appreciate that, brother!
anal orgasm
I found this instrument via a metal band, and ever since I listened to it, I've been in love with its sound
what band?? :O
you deserve much more views and subscribers!
Thanks a lot!
its been 5 years and this still shows up in my recomended
Honestly, that surprises me too!
I decided to remove all music from my phone and listen to this intead.
😍 just started tin whistle a few weeks ago: this right here is now my eventual goal. This is EXACTLY what you want to hear when you see a tin whistle!
Sounds so sweet and those ornaments are beyond impressive!
Thanks brother!
Today I saw it in a huge discount so I bought it. The sound makes me feel like fighting in a tavern
now this is my favorite melody
Hypnotic finger work.

Me encantó el remate.
omg this may be one of my new favorite jigs, the beginning just seems like...hardcore. I wonder if there's anything I can do about the 2nd part being so ...not as cool. lol. SOUND GREAT!
Check out The Session.org You'll find seven variations. One may be suitable. Or combine parts of variations to make a Morrison's of your own, e.g. part A from you selection you like and part B form another. And make your own variations. When there is a measure with 6 8th notes you might play 1 quarter note and 2 8ths or 2 dotted quarters. This sort of thing I've been dabbling with to make a variation on the repeat, having played the standard way first time through.
So so beautiful 💖
Ammaaazzing !! I have only been playing for a few months ........ paaainful !!
Hope to get there eventually !! :)
