    I shared this today as a heritage of the Irish. WE used to see brothers at Open Mic that could play like this in my 20's.. It brought back funny memories because I'm a tall redheaded Irish American woman with relatives that all grew up in Tuam and Ardara. :). They would ride me (very Irish style) on surely I sing, play the accordian, the tin whistle ? the spoons at the very least. :) lol

    I personally prefer playing the badhron as its a background instrument and I think its simpler

    JJ ho fá molt bé. Sona més bé com un ritme hillbilly/Country, pero encaixa molto bene. Es més com el ritme amb baquetes que sugeréix un tren; que pot ser algo més en la tradició folk celta més vella. De totas maneras... JJ toca beníssim la percussió. Si pot ser, em podríes indicar uns altres videos on toca tambors i deixa de costat la seva guitarra. Penso que es molt bó. Ho dic seriosament. També pot tocar bodhran només amb les mans. I, per altre part, amb baquetes y rods es poden fer coses molt maques. Molt bó tot lo que feu!

    I notice you're playing a brass Dixon Trad instead of your usual nickel! Any preference? Major differences? Trying to decide between brass and nickel myself for a first whistle. I think I like the look of brass, but I originally fell in love with the Dixon Trad sound when I first heard it in one of your videos (nickel). A novice may not even be able to tell, but I'm just curious lol

    • @TinWhistler
      @TinWhistler  8 лет назад +2

      +TwaxerX I used to prefer the nickel one, but right now I prefer the brass one (which I recently bought in Galway), I don't know why, maybe because I like changing for a while. Maybe the brass one sounds a bit louder, but I'm not sure. My advice is always "get'em all!" lol Anyway I absolutely love the Dixon Trad.
