@@coleanderson8035I spent 20 extra hours redoing the mix, including but not limited to: Dynamic EQing the bass, side-changing the bass, making sure the treble wasn’t ear piercing like before, re-EQing every track from scratch, using a higher quality kick sample with more transient to bring out the end of the kick, maximizing the master, made sure to follow a better master curve, etc. Stop arguing about music I spend thousands of dollars on to make $0/hr and use better headphones. Thanks!
@@Tytolis alright, so I get what you were trying to do. However I do want to word this in a way that isn't disrespectful. When you try and touch up a remix you've already done, that's fine! But to the average ear it sounds strikingly similar. The beginning is quieter, and the guitar sounds different, that's it. Obviously more under the hood things were done but that's how it really sounds. And that's comparing it to a remix of the temporal tower theme you uploaded earlier than the 7 month one that also says "featuring peaves". When I compare it to that one the sounds are even more similar. Obviously to the more in tune musical ear like yourself you'll hear differently, but I'm talking from the perspective of the average ear. Now that doesn't take away that it's a great remix that's unique from the other remixes on RUclips and I like it a lot because of that, none of what I said is supposed to take away from that it's a good remix. However it just confused me with how similar they sound, that's all. Also side note: don't try to play like some sort of victim mentality like "oh woes me I'm subjected to making music for zero profit, you need better headphones broke boy!" And that's not even trying to be rude that's exactly how you come off as and it's extremely condescending. Music shouldn't be about the money, it's the passion and desire to make it and the accomplishment you feel for making it, not the money made from it. If you like it, and other people like it, who cares about the money?
