Within these rocky mountains, ethnic minorities of the Dong Van rock plateau, Ha Giang Province, cultivate on a narrow area down the middle of the rocky forest.
However, the lower level of the topsoil is full of rocks, so cultivation is very difficult. The normal plowshare can’t be used here without being broken.
Overcoming the difficulties, people here created a special kind of plowshare to use for the rocky soil.
For Mong ethnic people, the plowshare not only represents the essence of rocky mountain agriculture but also the pride of the people.
Until now only Mong ethnic people’s forges could create these unique plowshares.
