The longevity of his is amazing , and not only that but he continues to play at the highest level and still actually perform . As a Swede who has been watching him intently throughout his career:
I would say his prime has been "spread out" in different areas. I'd say he was the most dangerous and complete as a player during his first stint at AC Milan and PSG, but during his time at Inter he was more of an all rounder. At Inter he would utilize dribbling more and play a bigger part in the build up to attacks. I'd still say he was better at AC/PSG

He was his best at 3 clubs:
    1. AC Milan in his first run when he lead a team majorly built around retiring legends in their finals seasons and the greatest wonderkid who failed, Alexander Pato. Supported by young Stephan El Shaarawy, Robinho, Seedorf and veteran Inzaghi.
    2. His next best run was with PSG who was amidst of massive rebuild after Oil Money takeover similar to Man City with Cavani, Lavazzi, Verrati, Silva, Cabaye, Moura, Pastore in a relatively easier league where scored for fun. His partnership with Cavani was most lethal of all club he ever played with.
    3. Manchester United run is most underrated given his age, and Man Utd was under a massive post-SAF rebuild under Jose after terrible seasons under LVG & Moyes, most of the squad was old with Rooney, Bastian, Marouane Fellaini, Antonio Valencia, Michael Carrick, Juan Mata, while some players like Rashy yet too young. Even then he lifted 3 trophies, maximum United has in one season since SAF including Euorpa League, his only Continental Success till date. Also in a season where he scored 28 goals with Rashy, Mata, Wazza, and Mkhi having 11-10 each in just 27+1 matches.
His goal with Sweden against England or his goals in MLS with acrobatic handling, and his finishing he is one of the greatest player alongside Messi & Ronaldo who never won UCL.
    My List of GOATs:
    1. Messi
    2. Ronaldo
    3.Zlatan
    4. Wazza
    5. Neymar

For me it has his 2 seasons in Milan. It was not a vintage AC Milan side, they were ageing and already moving downhill. When Ibrahimovic arrived he stopped the decline almost on his own. They went from challenging for 3-4th positions in Serie A to winning it then finishing 2nd. He was an immense leader on the pitch, won many games by himself and produced imperious displays throughout 2010-11. He scored goals, set up for others and challenged his teammates. Many of them became bang average once he left.
You can also see since his return to Milan that there is a special bond between this club and him. Much more than with Man United, PSG, Barcelona, Juventus or even Inter.

Can dribble, pass the ball equisitly, score the easy and the hard goals, hold up play, due to his size and strenght he won most duals with defenders, amazing shotpower, and freekicks and penalties, and most importantly he was consistently the star player at every club he played for, and more often then not, he could singlehandedly win the game with a shot or a pass, game after game. And last but not least he's throughout his career scored the most beautiful goals from any one player in football history.
