These videos will be a big help when I start assembly of my 30 x 30 next week. Technical note, what you call bolts are properly called socket head cap screws.

I went to your etsy page but I can't figure out how to order the gcode for the longMill 30x30 spoiboard . Please advise.

I think the bottom of page 70 pictures the open and closed pictures for Y-gantry are reversed. Open should in the picture on the right as that's the farthest from the bottom rail and would give the biggest gap. Perhaps I misunderstand open and closed. For mine the picture on the right gives the easiest movement and the picture on the left allows no rotation of wheels.

Hi Michael, it depends on where the off-center nut is located on the steel plate which decides what's opened and closed. Since the Y-gantry has the nut at the top, 'open' would have the nut turned to be as far 'up' as possible to give the biggest opening meanwhile 'closed' would have the nut turned 'down'. I'm not sure why you're getting more movement with the nut closed rather than open, but as long as you've got you're machine working for you then that's what's important :)
      Happy making!

@@SienciLabs After running rapid mode for a while and never being able to get one axis to not have enough torque, I revisited. I believe my wheels are not all the same Diameter but I'd also concur with @MichaelParker6081. This diagram is reversed. At time 16:44 this is correct with skinny side facing up in Z axis for the Loose/Open position to start adjusting tension.

Hello, I have a 48 x 30 Longmill on order. It looks like there is only about 8 inches of the router power cord sticking out of the drag chain on the 30 x 30. Is the power cord going to be too short on the 48 x 30?

For all the current orders we'll be including wire extensions by default where we can for motors, sensors, router power, etc. So you should still be good to go. In the future this may end up being an added charge depending on the situation but not for this first run 👍
