Spectacular Tournament, showing that anime fighter fighting games don't lose anything with 2D and 3D fighting games, and as a fan of fighting games, I loved watching the tournament, in my opinion last year's EVO was what had the best top8 and in this EVO he kept the pacec as a very exciting and exciting top6 in terms of fighting, and figher anime games deserve to have a lot of prominence in tournaments, because they are excellent.

I just bought Melty without knowing anything about the lore or..any anime background at all in fact this years EVO..I watched all of the top 6 & its been the only sport Ive watched in years I was in here screaming..close games..open tournaments..id hit EVO vegas nxt year..why not me
Yeah im not one to usually call for nerfs but what was they cooking with Roa. A rushdown high damaging character with amazing zoning tools?! Bro moves like Cammy and fights like Guile, no wonder a ditto was for Grand Finals...
every characters in type lumina are broken. maybe miyako should need a buff, but that's pretty much it. a mirror match in grand finals doesn't mean a character is broken. it can just be luck + a character being more popular overall.
Jimmy is insane, jeeeeeeez. I'm so glad this game has lived enough so I could see these matches.
It's kinda a shame that top 6 is not best of 5 when it's a very fast paced game
