With most of your releases, you seemed to have been somewhat "hidden" behind some of the most amazing characters, but it feels we're getting a glimpse of an authentic part of you with this album. I've always enjoyed telling other people's stories with my songs, but this album is a very personal story of my own wrapped up in a witchy aesthetic. I still don't know how to write completely naked without the cosplay, but it felt cathartic and freeing to write this album and maybe that's all it ever has to be. As an aspiring songwriter I find it hard to write songs about love because it’s such a delicate emotion and nearly impossible to put into equally passionate words. What I love about Karliene's music is that it is suitable for everyone, every background and belief. She sings softly like a New Ager, her instrumentals are pure Pagan, and her lyrics bear the Chrisrian morality. At least this is my take of her art.
