@@bwingbwinggwiyomi it's nothing special, once I arrived in NY they asked me where I was from, I said Vienna and he said, as if it were a no-brainer, "And how is Vienna?" Maybe he thought I was going to tell him wonders about the city. I just put on a serious face and said "Cold!" and he burst out laughing and welcomed me to the city. Maybe I have a funny face, I don't know.
Oh no, I guess sometimes we may feel like this whenever they’re checking us real close to us. They shouldn’t go that far though, it’s kinda like we’re being inspected by the police or maybe even the government to see if we have anything illegal with us 😰
Hi Jennie I have been watching your vids from so long I love your vids so much sometimes your very relatable which I love love your vids the most I am your number one fan❤❤❤😊😊😊

This is so true! I was in the Netherlands as a child, and the custom lady directed all the questions to me. And I didn’t really know where we were going, so it was quite scary. I now understand why people say Dutch people are strict.
This is exactly how it feels like whenever I'm traveling to Europe, oh geeze I pay extremely close attention to every word being said and draw a sigh of relief when I'm out of there.
Once my dad and my grandparents went to see my uncle in abother country. My dad and grandma were stopped to empty the food they had planned to bring. There was a lot so it kept the people busy and meanwhile, my grandpa just passed with two whole wheels of cheese in his bags without anyone noticing 😂😂 that's the story of how my uncle got to eat some good french cheese again
My trips through customs have never felt like this. Except the one time i went to Australia and had brought bundaegi from Korea with me lol. (Bundaegi is silk worm pupas that you eat)
This happened at the immigration (note It, immigration) when i was travelling for my graduation I was asked to step out of the line in a not so polite manner and go stand at a seperate line Turns out the passport i had (being from the time when i was still in school) needed special checks as it was given for people without an education qualification All those years of higher studies, all those hours of education... all ignored just because of an unupdated passport. Atleast the officers could have been a bjt polite. They've never stopped me ever before. Truly felt like dying throught that flight... wish airport officials could be more polite and understanding of a passenger's situation (and wise versa ofcourse)
I don't know how tough EU immigration is to visitors with a visa, but our customs are really chill. Their main focus is on how much newly bought goods you're bringing and if it doesn't seem obvious that you're planning to sell it they usually don't make a huge fuss about it. Of course you pass by sniffing dogs on your way through, but if they don't react, it's very unlikely that they will pull you aside for a closer inspection. But I know that the US and AUS have very strict rules about what food can enter their countries. And when they interview you basically try to remember if you've forgotten about a piece of candy in your luggage.
Even entering the United States as a U.S. citizen you get the same treatment. Sometimes I worry I can’t go home if I don’t answer the questions correctly. Then the customs agent smiles and says, “welcome home” Such a wave of relief washes over me.
I always found Canadian Customs (YYZ, two land crossing to Michigan and one to New York) extremely polite and friendly. Including bringing back a bunch of stuff after a month in Europe. Coming back into to U.S., it's 50/50 that they will treat you like a criminal...
Once my friend and I flew between countries while on a trip. When they passed out the customs declaration sheets on the plane, we realized that the jerky we’d brought wasn’t allowed, so we cracked open our kangaroo meat on the plane to try it. Sorry to everyone in the enclosed space-the smell made us realize our mistake very soon after, so we saved the other bag (crocodile jerky) until the hallway leading to customs, where we quickly opened & tasted it, then threw everything in a trash can. Another time, I actually did get detained because I’d forgotten to eat/toss an apple that I’d brought for the trip back from Italy. Granny Smith making me feel the fear of a criminal 😆 Still, I’m grateful they check those things bc once I visited a place during a plague of stink bugs that got into *everything* and wanted more than anything to NOT carry any in unawares to start a second invasive species rampage in my country. The one truly contraband thing that I brought (by accident) went discovered till my third airport on a trip, even though myself or my bags were searched at every stop. (It was pepper spray.)
Oh gosh, yes. I flew to Egypt and we arrived very late and only on the airport you could ask for a visa. I was so anxious, and everyone from my plane went through, even my mom....but still, I was afraid I accidently slipped something with me. After that I only flew inside Europe, much safer feeling.
I remember when I first went through customs. They asked if I had any food and I declared I did because I got some cookies from one of the countries I visited. The guy there couldn’t stopped laughing when I declared I brought cookies. 😅 first time traveling outside of the country.
The only time I experienced this was when I flew to America, it was actually so scary I was honestly scared for my life the way they asked me questions T-T
My bf and I are Canada/US long distance and every time he goes through customs he's like "babe what if they dont let me in!?" When he's literally just coming to see me. But they make you feel so guilty just for existing!
"okay have a nice trip" felt so relieving at the end 🤣
True… But at that point, I’m usually thinking “Too little, too late, please don’t say nice things as I’m busy having a panic attack right now!”
As an anxious person this is exactly how it feels like. My mind would come up with all the worst case scenarios 😭😭✋🏻

Jeenie was literally sweating bullets while answering the one particular question
The water being poured on her head 😂
Lol pretty accurate except for looking you in the eye. They avoid mine as if making eye contact would mean certain death.
You forgot the part where they ask if you are carrying any firearms .
They really act like you're the relative of an evil person😭🤣

Don’t forget when they ask for your birthday and you forget for like 3 seconds
The mustache looks so intense 👁️👄👁️
Love the exaggerations i.e. cold sweat rain!
In Europe it's chill.
Is US still a place where people want to immigrate?
That's why i hate to extend my passport, bcs of investigation questions makes me anxiety for minutes but the terrified felt forever
When I didn’t read the prohibited items list: UHHH HEH IDK!!!!!!!
"Sorry mam...you can only take 100ml of sweat on to the plane"
I was asked if I was carrying any explosives once... I replied only my personality...
Australia customs lol
How long are you staying?
" FOUR TO FIVE DAYS "
I never know the exact answer
