I wanted an hss. I went to my local shop wanting a fender strat pro II and though I wanted to like it, I was super disappointed. I tried this one and loved it but was clearly influenced by my polyphia addiction... After 3 months I still like it, but it is not versatile at all. Definitely a good buy but not sure it is a keeper for me. Also you should try it first as the neck is surprisingly wide.
Thanks for the video! I was trying to find some reviews without the standard hendrixian polyphia tone that scotty plays. Its a great tone but I wanted to hear the versatility of this beaut. Thanks again now I definitely don't know which one I want his or tims~ lol
You by chance ever look under the hood of this guitar? I am putting those pickups in my AZ2204N and am trying to figure out what capacitors that guitar uses on the pots. I cant seem to find any info out there on those, sadly.
You won't get perfectly finished stainless steel frets or the amazing pickups in this guitar, not to mention the unbelievable access to the upper frets. I will never sell mine.
@@lyrasimo There is split coil on the pickup-selector, 4th position is a mix between the middle pickup and half the humbucker. Mine will get delivered next week!
All the yes, this thing is so good.

What would make it more versatile?
Not versatile?

Anytime! Thanks for watching. And if I can somehow get my hands on Tim's guitar, I'll do a review also
Killer tone man! Nice dynamic pickin! \m/
Wow, thank you for commenting! You guys have a killer channel! Would love to try one of your custom guitar!
I have the thbb10 and it sounds great but the slm10 has the better neck pickup because of the 22 frets

No i don't think i ever took it apart. Unfortunately I do not have the guitar anymore to check :(
@@nelsonmann It's cool, I ended up finding the Ibanez part lookup page and figured it out.👍
I wonder if I can get similar tones on a Godin Progression Plus for 1/2 the money.

What amp do u use? It sounds soo warm and beautiful
I think for the beginning i was using an amp sim of a Morgan AC20
this is probably my fave Premium AZ model. Would love to own one myself. How do you like the Dimarzio IGNO bridge?
The igno is sick. Takes hi gain pretty good. I just wish I could split it to sound like a single coil
@@nelsonmann Nice! Yeah I'm really interested in it, sounds amazing and I think i'd really dig it.
@@nelsonmann doesnt have the the split coil options this guitar ???????
@@lyrasimo not but it has a 5 way switch
