you are AWESOME! love hearing you put perspective back in. I've had someone mention "well you didn't play it, their way" I couldn't tell and had to overcome actually caring.
Hi. Thanks so much for the comment and kind words. I agree with you. The important thing is that what you are playing sounds correct. There are so many ways of playing the exact same thing on the guitar that how you do it is not so important. If it works for you and sounds right I wouldn't worry how other people play it. Thanks again for commenting and for sharing!
god,how could you be so cool?music is your life, but we all live ,but in the way that we feel well in our skin.as in everything there're outside influences to deal w/.like musicians.but you're a natural born guitar teacher.awesome
Hi Steve, thanks for the great advice in this video, and also, in many of your other videos. You cut through the B.S and "mysticism" that some others tend to associate with guitar playing. Your no nonsense approach is refreshing and inspirational. I'm slowly getting it together and looking forward to one day soon playing competently and therefore, being a happy man. Cheers from Australia.

That is a really cool Ibanez and I played with that amp head the other day.. It is very cool but very touchy.. Definitely have to make sure the volume and gain are set very low when pushing buttons..
Good message Steve. Too many lessons get caught up on the idea that you have to play it the same way the original artist played it. The thing is, the original artists seldom play a song the same _every_ time.
What about the Effects Steve ? the Effect pedals...you didn't mention them. I would be nice to share a few of the "Tone" settings of some Rock/Metal bands (if possible). You said EMG, but which ones are you using, 81, 85 or ?
Hey Steve, why is RUclips showing me one of your ads on YOUR video? I'm already watching your stuff (which is great btw) so it seems like a waste of money IMO.

Really helpful video !!!
Great, fits in with the Cochise song you recommended to have fun with.

Damn, I'm glad you said it didn't make a difference if you played two or three strings because now I don't have to worry about any of that
great sir
