If you look at her performances of this song on her Unbreakable Tour, State of the World Tour and number ones tour. SHE ALWAYS LOOKS TO THE SKY to give a kiss to him
9:32 Janet is known for being a more choreographed artist learning extremely intricate and precise moves. She is known on tour to LOVEEE flexibile and backbending 8 counts. She also does alot of floor choreography that is physical. Michael is more of a freestyle dancer where his magic relies on the spare of the moment. Love to see him at work.
Yes! Every Janet Jackson backup dancer says that her dances Are the hardest choreographies they have ever learned. Her versatility is where she shines. You throw any dance at her and she'll master it. At 50yo Janet was doing the chicken head to Nicki Minaj's chunli at and it was smooth AF. Michael would dance the chicken head in a way that it would be his own version of the dance...and it would be dope.
This video was way ahead of its time. It was released in 1995. I was breathless when I saw it the first time. I love how is so biographical of the shit they went through.
The only tribute that COULD be done was done with Janet at the VMA an she had Michael on the screen dancing behind her !! It was beautiful an right after his passing so I dunno how she had it in her but she 100% did it 15 years later same as the first time !! Please do the tribute next 🤞🏼 it was so cool
Janet recently did a video and she said the video cost like 5-7 million dollars and that was the 1st of its kind back in the early 90's. She also said the video concept was her idea and that Michael paid for it all.
It was approximately $7mil. Yes, he entrusted her to come up with the concept, which stressed her out because they’re both perfectionists but she did it anyway...and came the masterpiece called “SCREAM”! We love you Janet! 💙
Two visionaries joining forces. The real gag is them competing in the studio when it came to laying down the vocal. Janet was shook when she heard Michael…then Michael was shook when he heard his baby sister go awf.
Two legends! Their voices are so good together. MJ The King Of Music Forever Miss him so much my idol🙌🏽👑💝🌟💯(Please React to Michael Jackson "Blood On The Dance Floor" Short Film and us MJ Fans are called Moonwalkers/Soldiers Of Love)
To be honest Michael was the closest to Marlon during their childhood because they were the closest in age. But Michael was then the closest to Latoya during the mid to late 1970s to the late 1980s, due to all of his older brothers got married and was moving on with their personal lives. You clearly saw that because Latoya was sent to NY with MJ during the filming of 'The Wiz', Latoya was in about three of his videos throughout the 80s and they were the only two of the siblings left in family house. But Latoya got involved with her husband at the time in the late 1980s, which led her to abandon and hurt her family. However, MJ and Latoya mended their relationship in the early 2000s because you saw them together in paparazzi photos and she accompanied him to the BET Awards. He respected Janet as artist and as his sister and adored her as his baby sister. He always had a sweet spot for her.
4:06 Janet always said that she wanted to be like her brother. He was her idol. The thing is she was so great herself. Btw this is the best reaction to this video. Y’all did it justice, especially the one on the right . Rip king 👑✊🏾
The greatest of all times. Nobody better than Mike and Janet. 👏 please react to some more MJ! I’d recommend you to react to you rock my world, this time around feat biggie, earth song and remember the time! Mike ended up paying $10.4 million for this MV! Scream premiered on June 14th 1995 for the first time on ABC-TV! Grammy Award: Best Music Video, Short Film. Billboard Music Video Award: Video of the Year - Pop/Rock.
That’s very true. Unfortunately, people don’t want to give her credit for anything because they’re so busy praising the heck out of Michael! Smh. Janet is a force to be reckoned with! ✨
I always said that Janet was better or to be fair to Michael fans equal. The only thing Mike had over her was popularity and singing. Janet had the songs/ music and the dancing down. She was definitely way more versatile than he was. And to be clear Michael was way more inspired by Janet than the other way around. He loved her dance countdown break. He loved her Rhythym Nation album and the songs “The Knowledge and Rhythym Nation” because the bass lick drove him wild. Janet made her own lane.
"Oh my God I could not believe what I saw as I turned on the TV. I was disgusted by all of the injustice." "In complete darkness we are all the same. It is only our knowledge and wisdom that separates us. Don't let your eyes deceive you" Janet has always been my all time singer in the world. Just from the line that closes Rhythm Nation 1814. SCREAM was released in the summer of 1995. It was the first single from Michael's "HISTORY", an double disc album featuring his greatest hits at the time on Disc 1 and new music on Disc 2. Among the topics MJ mentioned on this album were the recent allegations of child molestation he faced as well as all the other things tabloids said about him. Notorious B.I.G. and Shaquille O'Neal feature on the songs "THIS TIME AROUND" and "2 BAD" respectively. The album also contained what would become MJ's final #1 hit "YOU ARE NOT ALONE" (written and co-produced by R Kelly). Other singles released from this album were "THEY DONT CARE ABOUT US", "CHILDHOOD", and "STRANGER IN MOSCOW" which were all hits.
You guys did the best reaction to this video I've seen on RUclips. You acknowledged and commented on so many things everyone else seems to miss. You definitely have a new fan to your channel! And you definitely need to do more Michael Jackson. The GOAT. And forget Chris Brown and Ciara, you need to react to the MTV Awards tribute performance to MJ after he passed!
I remember when this video premiered on ABC’s “Primetime Live” in 1995. It was an EVENT!!! I was 11 years old and the video scared me! But it’s such a great song and the video is legendary.

Love Michael and janet miss Michael so much I definitely cried when he passed😭 I remember when people said they were the same person because they look so much alike and janet presented Michael with an award and in his speech he said I hope this clears up the rumor we really are 2 different people lol
This video came out in 1995. This MV introduced the futuristic video concept in the industry. Janet revealed in one of her latest videos that MJ paid for the video and it still holds the record as the most expensive music video of all time.
When this video came out on MTV. The video played all day long and they had and 800 number to call in to try and win a signed guitar for them. It was the summer of 1994 I believe.
This video was directed by Mark Romanek. Janet did an interview recently, she said both the label and her brother left it in her hands on choosing everyone for the video. She also said they were kids when they had last dance together, so she enjoyed doing it for this video. The video was supposed to only take 2 days to film but it took 7 days and cost $7 million and is in the Guinness World Records for most expensive video.
This is the only song that Janet & Michael did together as adults. Janet did a tribute to him with this song. They also made this song in response to accusations of him sexually assaulting little kids.

Awesome reaction! This video perfectly shows are awesome and talented they are! Many artist have been inspired by this video including TLC No scrubs, Chris brown & Lil Mama Get Loose! You guys should react to her Rhythm Nation live from the Velvet Rope Tour - she goes off!
My oldest 2 kids were toddlers when this came out but I remember how much sh*t they talked about Michael and Janet being they same person back then so when they came together for this they was like “Listennnnnn and look at us” 💪🏼✨🎶❣️
#JanFam thanks for the shout out!! Scream is my 2nd favorite video ever, Rhythm Nation is my 1st. Tried to do that dance breakdown SO MANY TIMES, I got it down now! Reaction request: Janet Jackson "If" from The Velvet Rope Tour HBO Special and Normani's tribute to Janet at the BMI Awards!
Janet said She Loves Japanese Culture she said She made this a Tribute to Japanese Anime.. Michael payed 7million of his Own Money to Create the Video..She just revealed in a Recent Interview
This was released in 1995 fellas I remember it like yesterday! Me and family sat in front of the TV for the premier. It was an Epic event to us…..Like Thriller🥰
I dunno if y’all caught it, but at 6:48 during the “stop pressuring me” line (when y’all mention ‘psych ward’), the very last time they say “stop FU*KING with me”
Michael was a big part of my childhood, too. I was maybe 5 when the Thriller album came out, I remember being allowed to stay up til midnight to watch the premier of the “Thriller” video. And my mom was a fan of The Jackson 5 when she was young. It’s crazy how this family’s talent has spanned generations. Edit: I had to look up when “Scream” was released because I thought for sure it was around Y2K or later. I have no memory of this song in 1995. 😂 But that’s probably because I was 16-17 and heavily into grunge and more alternative music at that point which hit the scene right when I entered my teens.
Please react to Janet's 2009 VMA performance tribute to her brother. Plus she has all of the legendary choreographers in her performance from Laurienne Gibson (choreographed Britney Spears and Lady Gaga and Michael Jackson) and Tina Landon (who choreographed the majority of Janet's 90s work). Plus Janet does the prestigious dance routine from Scream in this performance and the audience looses it 😳😳😳😳 I remember fanning out as a kid when I saw the performance air on TV in 2009. Plus Beyonce, Solange, Alicia Keys JLo, Pink and Lady Gaga are getting their jams on in the audience to the song because they too are fanning out because it's Janet Jackson The Queen of Pop 😂😂😂😂
One of the best music videos ever made. And the most expensive video ever made. For anyone wondering how much the video cost. It was $7 million dollars. I mean. Wow. Lol
Scream is all around one of my favorites! Could you guys react to more songs by Janet & her interviews too? I think you'll enjoy The Velvet Rope Tour & her Tyra Banks Show interviews

THE DANCE BREAK IS ADDICTIVE!!!! CIARA AND CHRIS BROWN SHOULD REMAKE THIS!!
Ciara is gonna have to step it up then. Cause she’s been lackluster as of lately. Not saying she can’t do it. But she got lazy.
Yeah she’s really that chick at dancing but imma need better singles as a day 1 fan I definitely want her to win 🏆!!
Funny enough Janet inspired a lot of Micheals work ( especially the Dangerous album) and even choreographed some of his stuff

Back in the MTV days, they would premiere videos. My nephews and I would all get together to watch. Good times!!!
Janet said She Loves Japanese Culture she said She made this a Tribute to Japanese Anime.. Michael payed 7million of his Own Money to Create the Video..She just revealed in a Recent Interview
I just discovered you! LOVE!! I may have crushes on you but your reactions are great!
This was released in 1995 fellas I remember it like yesterday! Me and family sat in front of the TV for the premier. It was an Epic event to us…..Like Thriller🥰
Jerry Jaguar bro. I love yall too. 10:43
Please react to Janet Jackson song All for you live performance
I dunno if y’all caught it, but at 6:48 during the “stop pressuring me” line (when y’all mention ‘psych ward’), the very last time they say “stop FU*KING with me”
Have you reacted to In the Closet from Michael yet? Naomi Campbell is so gorgeous in that video!
Not yet on the list now!!❤️💯
@@tagteamreactions4675 awesome 😊
Plus Beyonce, Solange, Alicia Keys JLo, Pink and Lady Gaga are getting their jams on in the audience to the song because they too are fanning out because it's Janet Jackson The Queen of Pop 😂😂😂😂
love this song, mike dropping "f bombs" to the media and haters, little sis got his back❤
The most important siblings in pop culture ❤❤
One of the best music videos ever made. And the most expensive video ever made. For anyone wondering how much the video cost. It was $7 million dollars. I mean. Wow. Lol
Scream is one of the most expensive videos ever made
Legendary
Scream is all around one of my favorites! Could you guys react to more songs by Janet & her interviews too? I think you'll enjoy The Velvet Rope Tour & her Tyra Banks Show interviews
Yea I'd live for Chris Brown and Ciara to redo this. CB was MJ's protege it only makes sense. If Ciara couldn't Teyana Taylor😍❤️
Janet's fan group is called the J Tribe. Please react to I Get Lonely by Janet and The Pleasure Principle by Janet. Janet is my favorite artist of ALL TIME!
J Tribe/The Kids is what she refers to her group of dancers as.
@@kishikcm you are so right. I stand corrected. Are the fans called Jan Fam?
Of course she was the girl version of MJ that was her big bro…… 1995 ❤ the love that Jackson SWAG
