Would be great to see PC make some improvements again to the flight model, particularly in regard to his recommendation to increase collective authority.
@NorternerInSpace In our squad we provide basic training, also for single pilots and guests. So you are welcome for flight instruction by a real live instructor. 🤠 Off cause, free of charge. 😉 You invest only time and effort.
Reason the engine quits when the fuel control (throttle) is closed is because the "Starter" switch is in the MID "Arret" (STOP/OFF) position - it should be in the UP "Marche" (ON/RUN) position when in flight.
Genau diese Sachen machen mir mit der Gazelle einen Riesenspaß. Nur siehts bei mir noch lange nicht so elegant aus. :D Vor allem beim flotten Stopp bei etwa 8:02 dachte ich: "Was, das geht?" - Offensichtlich! 😄

Is it realistic that the HUEY feels more powerful than the Gazelle? I love the Gazelle, it’s look and I enjoy flying it but it does seem underpowered and I’m not yet convinced that the ‘stiction’ issue on take-off is fixed. I’m enjoying these videos BTW, it’s great to get the opinion of someone who flies real choppers.
You are right. The Gazelle is underpowered. The Huey has a strong engine as well but is more heavy and the rotor system is slow reacting. Whyle the direkt control of the Gazelle makes her a quick responder.
Thanks again for taking the time to create another very informative and insightful video!

I'm struggling to adapt to the new flight model (especially take offs) so this video was a good incentive to go and try and get better!
