Dr. Byrd was my mentor and teacher in the 80s. He absolutely loved Booker. But one of his favorite trumpet collaborations was with Marcus Belgrave and Art Farmer.

While Donald Byrd, Booker Little, and an uncredited Don Ellis are all playing trumpet on the melody, only Booker has the trumpet solo on this track. Anyone familiar with his style would know his signature unmistakable approach.
