How to Erase and Factory Reset Your Mac - New EASY Method

If you are selling your Mac or giving it to someone else, you’ll need to erase and factor reset it and I’ll show you how to do it the right way in this video.
This works exactly the same on all types of Macs from laptops and desktops.
Make sure you backup your Mac before erasing it. You can use Timemachine and an external hard drive.

Does this delete photos and messages too? When i signed out of Apple id before the factory reset my photos and messages were still there. Does this reset delete everything?

I did all the steps but after the first restart it put me into the recovery mode and I had to wait 3 hours for macOS to reinstall. Is it normal?
