I know when you were considering making changes, you mentioned the work shop not being good for such stories. Actually I think it gives us the feeling you are speaking to us while we just dropped by for a chat. Much like a barber conversing with his customers while working. Good story once again Ray. 73

Back in the early '70's, my then boyfriend and I had what we decided was a time slip. It freaked us out after we had come back to our own time and was told a small pub we had been in had been closed down for five years. We had noticed that the handful of older people in there wore slightly dated clothes but it wasya. Hamlet in an isolated country area, so we didn't think too much of it. It is only all these years later that I thought the reason the owner who was serving, took decimal money when he shouldn't have was that maybe it was a dimension and not a time slip.

Hi Ray, Great story. According to the Internet, electricity started in the UK back in 1881. Maybe you could check the hospital's history to see if a famous Doctor Johnston from London ever visited there in the late 1880's. Maria Gonzales may actually be listed in the early hospital staff records, if they have been kept. Incidentally, do you still have the syringe? Anyway, take care. Rob in Melbourne Australia.

A Hungarian Doctor back in the late 1840's made an observation regarding hand hygiene and infection control, he introduced soap & chlorine hand washing for all staff under his administration (Viennese Hospital), he postulated that particles from the infectious corpses were inadvertently being transferred to healthy patients, sadly he offended his colleagues with such a hypothesis that it eventually cost his career.
What ever happened to that glass & brass early Victorian era syringe?
The discovery of X-Radiation and it's medical application occurred just prior to 1900 by a German Physicist although they had been noted prior to that by Scientists experimenting with vacuum tubes and electricity, so there is your time frame 1900-ish, this is further supported by the fact wide spread electricity networks were not possible until the advent of alternating current technology around the 1900's 🤔
    Great story Ray 👍

@@raysghoststories They don't make 'em like that anymore. Made things to last a lifetime. Funny I said similar to my youngest only yesterday about a quite thick bath towel that must be going on for 40 years. Of course it isn't the only towel used so hasn't been worn out but it has been used a good bit. Still like new - and it wasn't even that expensive when I bought it. No holes, not gone thin, still quite soft cotton. I have had good thick cotton sheets for decades, too. They weren't made from genetically modified cotton plants then, either. Maybe that has something to do with it.

And ghosts. A friend of mine used to work at the Health Commission of Victoria in the 1980s. There were a few ghost sightings there, presumably linked to the old building that was on the site of the current building. One man turned as white as sheet partway along a passage. The others hadn’t seen anything but he saw someone in a white lab coat standing next to a trolley. The person vanished as he was watching.

It does sound like a timeslip, which is when somebody is temporarily transported to another time. typically though, these incidents are usually very brief, so much so that by the time the person has suspected something odd, they are back in their own time. so this is a very unusual case because of its duration. if this was not a timeslip which iam inclined to think, you must have somehow, inadvertently entered into a kind of time Portal. there is a theory that, entities who do not interact with the living, are not spirits at all! and that the observer is merely experiencing an event where the past is colliding with the present! rather than a ghost.... although that doesn't necessarily mean that portal will be accessible by the witness of course. as your encounter goes far beyond what people would normally experience with a timeslip, then clearly you must have entered into a time Portal or vortex, in which case you did the correct thing by attempting to get back to the present day! and that's because It may prove far more difficult to exit a portal, when in comparison to a timeslip, where you have a 99.9% chance of returning to your own time.

At least not in person. I have commented about it on a couple of channels which are geared to the unexplained, but that's about as far as I will go so I know it takes a bit more courage than I have to actually make a video about such things.
