lol, aprreciate it though
also why rdl's and not stiff leg dl?
Yes, it shows your professionalism!
I agree with your points on seated leg curl, however, anecdotally, it seems seated hits my ‘upper hams’, close to the glutes, while lying legcurls and nordic curls hit a bigger/lower part of the hams. Thoughts?
Props on the Eleiko plates
DL's and single leg machine curl!! 🤗😁
I love the “library” setting. It’s like “Story Time with Uncle Eugene”😂
Hahahaha yes!
Story time 😊
@@potatoman8156 story time! :D
OMG... This comment is gold
I love this series!!! I love how it’s not overwhelming like “My top 20 moves.” Two is perfect and they’re easy to add to my workouts. Thanks!
Glad you like it! :-D Thank you
Only found your channel a week or two ago, but you're quickly becoming my favourite fitness channel, keep up the work man
Awesome! Thank you!
Bro same, I found him randomly like a week ago and he's my favorite now
Thank you for having these in a playlist! About to remember what it's like to binge 😂 Still making everything so simple for us, you're the man!
Absolutely LOVE this channel. Everything easily explained and no BS on the exercises and form.
I've been doing loads of Romanian deadlifts, absolutely love getting the stretch on my hamstrings and feeling the burn! Haven't been mixing leg curls in though, thanks for explaining about the 2 heads.
You always bring highly accurate and well-reasearched stuff to the table. Well done mate. This channel deserves wayyy more attention and you deserve way more followers. Respect!
I just came across this channel a week ago and I find myself watching all the videos. Love your content, sir. Please keep them coming!
Thanks Eugene! I learn so much from you! Keep those videos coming mate!
Keep the videos coming! One of the best channels out there!
I started watching you a few days ago and I can’t stop! Keep up the good flow of content because I can’t get enough!
Thank you 🙏
The tips you give are life changing. I can really feel the difference in my RDL after elevating my toes. Thanks
This is exactly ruclips.net/user/postUgkxUHHotQRjIQnfuxEeVotlkHVYWH0DXZoS what I needed to get some exercise while I'm stuck at my desk all day. It's just the right size. Only downsides are that the right oeddale unscrews itself while I use it and increasing the tension causes it to squeak while in use. Both are minor issues that aren't that important to me. So I give it 5 stars.
The hair, the body the accent and the good information!! Who are you and where have you been all my life?❤️💪🏽😂
😊 thank you
Only discovered your channel recently and I've been binge watching your fantastic content, really helpful tips 👏
Nice ! Thanks for post. Y favorite: RDL's and stability ball hamstring curls. You can do them mostly anywhere. Thanks for the tip on learning the hinge. Been tring all cues on clients and same issue. Will try it out . Thank you.
Nice!
Romanian deadlifts and glute ham raise/Nordic curls 🔥
Love it!
Glute ham raise has been my saviour during lockdown. I've got basically no equipment for legs so just wedge your feet under something and it's actually an extremely difficult exercise
Ah yes a man of culture as well :D
YES! THIS!
Favourite content creator! So knowledgable. Hopefully one day I will be able to attend one of ur live workshop. 👍😊
Hope you can too!
Yaaasss! Been waiting for best hamstring workout! I’m just one of those who click the like button before watching the whole video (but will do later) 😂👍🏽
RDL is always my favourite and it never missed in my leg day routine. This one with elevated toes is something new to me and will try it soon! Thank you, uncle eug 😁👌🏼
Loved the vid darling!
Rare to find someone who combines the whole spectrum of physical development, big respect from london :]
My favorite hamstring excercises are seated leg curls and all variations of deadlifts + iso-holds during rest periods and stretching them afterwards ✌️
Another one! keep up the great work!
Great vid thanks
Great video. Short, simple, to the point, highly informative and useful, no bullshit, and positive energy.
Hell yeah through the roof
Thank you! 🙏
I do the same exercises but I usually do the lying curl instead. The elevated feet for RDL really worked. Loving this series
Great video as always eugene!
My favorite hamstring exercises have to be:
1- The romanian deadlift (Really like this one)
2- Lying leg curl (I'd love to try a seated one if the machine is available, but sadly it hasn't been in the gyms I've been to)
I try to avoid the non-seated Lying leg curl because for me it feels uncomfortable at the lower back and it's the first time I've seen a seated one
thanks for your tip, great videos . Your videos helped me alot .
Thank you for those awesome information
Thank you!
Loving the content mate 👌🏼
Thank you brother your videos are so easy to learn from and apply technique. You are a very good teacher and athlete
Love the channel man
Thank you!
The “Elevating the toes” tip alone is worth a sub & like. Thanks!
RDL and nordic curls!
Loving this 2 best exercises series!
Really love these video series. Continue, please 🔥🥋
Thank you! Will do!
Good explain sir 🏋♂
Great technique with the plates under your toes. I practiced this at home with a broom stick as a bar. It really helped with practice at home and once adding weight to a bar in the gym I no longer felt my lower back aching, plus my hams got a blasting
Great series! Can’t wait for your videos on other muscles.
Glad you like them!
Awesome!
great video
Love your channel bin workout for 30 years now and just found your channel and love all your info keep it coming
Awesome! Thank you!
I'm already doing these. I feel like i'm doing something right when I watch your "2 exercises" videos and I'm already doing them
Another great video ! Thx coach 😇
Thank you!
thank you coach
Thankyou so much sir , i appreciate your work ♥️
Thank for the info! It made a big difference when I elevated my feet by putting the weights under them. More Hamstrings, less lower back.
I'm new to the channel but I already like your energy ☺ subscribed! !
Great content. I also love an exercise that I never see being performed. I lie down on a piece of plexiglass and pull myself along a carpeted/turf floor in essence performing a hamstring curl through full range from terminal extension to full flexion. Try it, you may do a new video haha!
anytime Coach Eugene posts a video is a GREAT EFFING DAY!!!
🙏🙏🙏
For me, right now, the 2 best for hams are your Hamstring "Fuckerupperer" and the unilateral band resisted lying knee flexion. Another nice one Eugene, thanks man🙏🏽🥋❤️
I did both of these today, including toes on the plates! TY!
That hinge on the toe is genius Eugene!! Much obliged, friend.
Thanks for your super useful video about Romanian Deadlift technique i was able to incorporate it as a key excercise right along the leg curl for back posterior chain days, as always great work Coach
Fantastic!
how do you not have over a million subscribers yet, honestly this is one of the best fitness channels out there. your awesome my dude.
Thank you! 🙏
RDL and seated leg curl are the faves here. Per usual today is leg day using these today. Nice eugene love it
Nice! 🙏🙏
Great video mate, these are my two favourite as well for leg biceps
Nice one!
Thanks for the content legend
Thank you
thank you for the trick🖖
Dude RDL trick might well change the game for me. I’m constantly in anti-injury / corrective mode after recovery from spinal injury. Need stronger hams and lower mechanical stability, thank you for the help.
One of the best trainers in the business
I do both seated leg curls and RDLs and I love both exercises.
atypically well-spoken and pleasant personality...
Going to try that tip of elevating the toes for RDL, thankyou!
I love your channel!!!
Thank you very much
The best training info out there right now! 🙌
Thank you
Love your content 💕
I so wanna train with/under you one day🥺
Gracias Eugene🙏🏽
Pure gold, on the RDL .
Thank you sir
Thank you
Your intro made me subscribe, your very genuine it seems
Thank you very much. you're definitely my people!
Seated leg curls and reverse v squats are my go to for hamstring gains
I didn't like the seated hamstring curl before, I think I'll give it another try. Thank you for the helpful video
Good luck!
I have a hard time with deadlifts, I’m totally trying the elevated toes trick in the gym next week!
Im a recent subscriber and I like your content. Good luck on growing your channel.
Thank you very much!
My 2 take-on/favorite excercise for Hams are: Leg curl, Pref. Seated;
DL variation: RDL Or more Hams focused: deadlift with deficit or with Dumbells(toes elevated)
Nice!
Lying leg curls and dumbbell stiff deads. Thanks for the content. you on a roll. I love egg rolls
Since I can’t get to a gym, (we’re going on 6 months now), I have been doing Nordic curls. I am thrilled that I have noticed strength gains and have actually been able to do a few full unassisted curls each set. I did begin to notice some ACL tenderness, but realized that keeping my ankles straight was paramount as not to engage the tendons on either side.
Love nordics! Gotta do a home series next for sure 🙏
@@coacheugeneteo could you tell us more about the machine supporting the movement please?
I really love Natural Leg curls and Eccentric Raises !
Thank you so much 🙏 gratitude for you and love from India 😊
Thank you!
BB RDLs and smith machine good mornings but recently started liking the seated leg curl...and it’s always free at my gym 😆
These are my favourite two exercise for hamstrings too. Never tried the feet elevated version of RDL. I will try it today.
All the best!
Hey Eugene! Could you do a video on face pulls? I hear their great for posture, keep up the great videos
Perfect timing I have a leg workout hamstring focus later 👍 thanks m8
🙏🙏
Keep grinding youtube Eugene! Great content :D
Appreciate it!
2 Best Exercises for Calves next!
Awesome, informative, and a really nice personality! Keep it up!
More to come!
My 2 go to exercises are the RDL and lying leg curl. I avoid seated just because my femur is too long, and puts my knee past the pivot point. Lying feels more comfortable and isolates the hammies more
just tried out the RDL with toes up and i've never felt it more in my hammies... actually a god-send
I learnt sumpin. 😉
Thanks!
Glad to hear it
good content bro!!! Lots of love from India
Thank you!
Will you also do the video on the two best calf exercises? good video !!
Coach!
I learnt to hinge without the foot elevation. I was able to progress quite well and I still do.
However, there’s one thing the foot elevation did to me. It helped me get better at touching my toes; more importantly even in my seated position.
I performed this after a recommendation from Connor Harris on his RUclips channel. The reasoning is that the bio mechanics involved in nutation of pelvis is optimal in an elevated toe position.
Long story short, people who aren’t able to touch their toes, try feet elevation by an inch or 2 and try. Try it for what it’s worth. Please don’t hold me accountable. It worked for me and I’m enjoying the newfound mobility.
For me I find that the Sumo deadlift destroys my hamstrings and glutes and would be my go to. Great Content again coach
Seated leg curl is a staple hamstring excercise for me, I really like loading it heavy and repping well. Makes those legceps feel the punishment
The toe elevation trick is brilliant!
RDLs and The Nordic curls, as there are no seated leg curl machine available in any of my gyms in the area. And one gym has a lying leg curl but I have similar preferences like you sir.
Namaste iam from india and you are a good trainer or nice video
How tf this guy doesn’t have 1million subs blows my fucking mind, Eugene a Goat🙏🏼
Hi Eugene. Thanks for the awesome content. I do not see the link for your video on correcting Romanian DL form when feeling it in your low back. I need to see that video. Can you post the link? Thank you Eugene.
2 things i've learned from this gorgeous piece of content.Firstly, machines are great exercise selection because of its stability provided for the body. And secondly, that hack for better hip hinge movement , or how uncle Eugene once said, coaching without coaching, right uncle?
Yes!!! 🙏🙏
Inverse curls and regular conventional deadlifts (I know there not optimal for hamstrings but I love them)
