Alfred Molina was great in this movie, but he was a little too good-looking to pass off as Diego Rivera.

Well... so was Salma Hayek to pass off as Frida, if we're completely honest.
FRIDA is the most underrated movie of all times in my opinion. It’s a movie about REAL fascinating people who lived daring lives in a country and a time that did not accept deviating from the norm. The movie was brilliantly written, the actors were well-chosen, and superbly told Frida and Diego’s story. Selma Hayek gave a breathtaking performance of a very dynamic woman! BRAVO❗️❗️❗️
The both of them are so erotic. Such a passion ;in their smile, in their words, in their bodies..
When Rivera compliments you on your artwork, you know that it's good because he went to art school on a full scholarship in the FOURTH grade!
This what got Alfred molina the doc ock role in spider man 2 Sam rami was impressed with him in this role
"You gush all over her" and boy did he. Salma does amazing here. Singing, acting ,dress & expressions. Love Frida Kahlo. Her strenghth & brilliance were amazing.

I loved this movie and it gave me more appreciation for Frida Kahlo's art. While I watched the movie bc of Alfred, I believe Salma Hayek did such an amazing job in this movie. Definitely underrated
