Being a Dark Elf Dragonborn is so much fun, especially since you're an underdog. They've had their golden age, now they're enduring a dark age and recovering from it all, after all they follow the Psijic Endeavour, mortality isn't a prison but a test.
@@twodegreesofbyron1073 it's basically their view of mortality is different than how Altmer view it. It is indeed. I just subscribed today. I was looking for a Japanese Samurai or Ronin type build, and this one was perfect. I didn't even know these clothes and hat existed. So thanks to him I can finally have that Ronin warrior vibe I love so much from Ghost of Tsushima. Between that game and Skyrim those are my two favorite games that I spend the most time in. I love the whole Aesthetic of this build so much. I've started watching some of his other Elder Scrolls videos too. Extremely good quality content.
@@sir.jackalite6103 Something that I did in my playthrough to charge the Ebony Blade was to do Namira's daedric quest 'The Taste of Death' because you can betray Namira's cult instead of eating Verulus and since the NPCs present have a positive disposition to you, it will charge the blade. Furthermore, I was able to get Eola to wait outside of the cell so I could use her for Boethiah's quest later. Namira counts Azura as one of her enemies and charging the Ebony Blade this way serves Mephala at the same time while not doing anything morally wrong seeing as they were all cannibals about to eat a priest.
@Pragmatic Skeptic there is a mod called armor of the velothi part 1 through 4, the mods come with redoran hearthguard weapons that are perfect for this character
I came up with my own special move during a playthrough with this guy: Su'um Ahrk Morah. All it really is is using the full Slow Time Shout, but I love to roleplay it as the Swordmaster taking the breathing techniques he learned as part of training his Thu'um, combining them with his already-present discipline, and pushing his body to the limit to unleash a flurry of strikes faster than the eye can follow.

My best Skyrim build this far has been a Paladin build and I noticed that playing him felt very natural to the world of Skyrim as there are so many quests that have to do with helping people or doing morally good things. Could you make a Daredevil type build? Blind Religious Vigilante with a Martyr complex seems like something from a Fantasy game so i think it could fit well. If you DO do this and have trouble finding a Monotheistic religion the Skall religion mirrors Christianity in a couple ways, their God is called "the All Maker" and they have a Devil called "The Adversary". I do not know how you would do the blind part though... I haven't found a mod or anything like that yet.
@@60sspider-man29 Someone on our discord was talking about making a blind build and using clairvoyance as a way to roleplay an extra "sense" using magicka and it sounded really interesting.
It’s great to see you back with another awesome build! As always, I love how you include lore, backstory, and motivation for the character. I like that you focused on a roleplay reason not to go any farther into the questline because the Swordmaster wouldn’t kill Paarthurnax, which enables him to side with the Blades without killing Paarthurnax. The aesthetic of the character represents the Swordmaster vibe perfectly. I especially like the Boots of Waterwalking to give a mystical feel. I'm looking forward to more builds! :)
now this is a sick build. Like the fact that you made a vanilla variant of the gear too. Both looks amazing! The alternate armors and clothing that the anniversary update and upgrade brings are well done. Even added a variant of mage robes colored black with gold trimmings. Reminds me of of a certain mask with a hood of similar colors...
The vanilla variant is what our original build used several years ago, but the new Ghosts of the Tribunal stuff just looked amazing! It was a great chance to dig up an old idea we had floating around for a while.

I've only seen three builds so far from you guys. But so far, this is one of the most beautiful builds I've seen thus far. (especially loving how you use the Priest Robes, and standard chitin helm, for Switch, or Standard game players.) Amazing. 👍🏼

You made a spot for Quick Reflexes! :P I like the different outfit options, too. I think there's also potential here to play as the prideful student, as someone less experienced who could be shaken by the Helgen ordeal and then go on a journey to better himself.
I was really hoping for a cool dunmer build with this new Edition of Skyrim, and you guys certainly delivered! This is an awesome build concept and will most likely put in another 100+ hours of gameplay into my steam library

After watching this video and getting the master piandao vibe it would be cool to see a build with a Zuko theme. Dark elf race the uses fire magic and dual wield scimitars to represent Zukos ability to use firebending and swordsmanship. Zuko also has an amazing character arch that could be used as inspiration for a great backstory for a playthrough.
That's a cool idea. I've also thought of doing an Iroh-inspired build. Old Altmer, Ex-Thalmor General. Destruction (Fire), Illusion (Calm/Courage spells), maybe Speech and Alchemy ('teamaking,' potions that buff destruction damage). Lots of parallels in quests: Not killing Parthunax, reuniting with the Psijic Order (The White Lotus)

I realized I have played melee non-magic builds through Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim for my first time through each time. I am going to use a similar aesthetic to this build but RP that my character is the same as the one from Morrowind, just that the Corpus disease has stopped his aging. The periods of peace between the games let the character become rusty and forget any magics they learned along the way minus the basics. So each game is now a rusty hero regaining their past knowledge over the first couple of weeks. Helps explain the basic martial abilities of each character as well as their basic understanding of magic. All-in-all, it will make some good RP.
Yes yall are back with a great build can a new playthrough. But can we all just say that this charter would sit down and relax in the wild with the ghost of Atmore.
sheesh that man got the drip! that was a nice blademaster build. Glad to see you guys back! despite the "limitations" of the melee fighting system you guys nailed it
An idea for a build is a blind monk who is intimidating and battle hardened. However, he is a kind and helpful person with some emotional coldness. Perhaps he was cursed by a daedric prince that you can roleplay getting payback on, or you could roleplay forgiving the daedric prince and helping him/her.
I'm 15 hours into a variant of this character. The immersion, the glass cannon gameplay requiring precise timing, and just how well this build falls into Survival mode- I'm having the best time playing the game since my very first playthrough. Thank you for the work you do.
Amazing build, really liked the armor combo and the backstory, I'll try to adapt this to my next morrowind playtrough since i dont have skyrim anymore.
Wait ?! its like exactly the same build as mine on morrowind like 12 years ago. Wow it bring back strong memories, i think im gonna buy this game again
Really happy your channel across my Recommended feed, especially as I'm getting back into Skyrim and trying to come up with a build. These videos are beautifully crafted and the lore/backstory is really inspiring. Keep up the amazing work!
Ive probably restarted 10 times now and this might be the build that keeps me going Would really like to see your take on a witch hunter/witcher style build as that was my most played back in the day
While I don’t play vanilla anymore I LOVE this channel for the stories you guys come up with and I use theses builds as a footprint for my modded play👍🏼
Add in the Telvanni robes for aesthetic and that noble samurai lord look really comes to life. I really love playing this build all n all. Good job guys.
A very fun build to play. I'd venture to say that the reason this build is so popular, as suggested by the views, is because it's a morally good character who puts honor at the forefront. I personally don't care for the less virtuous builds, especially the vampire and conjuration based ones.
I think the next build I play will be something like this. I love your builds they all feel super unique and I think you guys make the absolute best out of the new anniversary edition content, more so than others. I don't really tend to play other people's builds, but you ALWAYS give me inspiration for my playthroughs. Thank u for the tons of inspiration :)
With creation club i definitely remastered my redguard build. I grabbed the remnant armor add-on, the fishing add-on for the ring of khajiit makes you 10% faster, all perks of restoration, all 5 on armsman, dual savagery and as well as the previous perk 2/2 in it, in destruction to adept perk so you can get Whirlwind Cloak, majority perks in alteration, most perks in alchemy, all 5 in in enchanter and tooked the middle branch of enchanting. My stone was the lover stone until maxxed out to get the atronach stone so i had 80% spell absorption to fight the Thalmor. And my home was the dread man's ship. My weapons was remnant swords.
I can't get over how amazing these videos are... Bravo , nicely done. I use so many mods... I usually turn my nose up to vanilla Perks. I love the special move section.
This is an excellent build! However, I recomend just a minor change: Use either Goldbrand or The Ebony Blade. Traditionally, Dunmer worship the Tribunal, which are the three Daedric Princes Mephala, Boethiah, and Azura. To a true Dunmer, being the champion of any of these three would be considered honorable (even if they are shady from our point of view). These weapons not only compliment the build and play style, but fit the lore and is aesthetically pleasing. For PC players, using CGO to change grip will make Goldbrand look and feel best for this character.
I liked the Ebony greatsword, it reminds me of a Miao Dao from China. My main gripe for Goldbrand was that it was tiny compared to an ordinary blades sword, but Ebony blade is fine.
A martial artist destruction alteration unarmed build or something like that could be interesting or a traveling cook alchemy build probably cannibalistic or not I enjoy playing the build of your video his story is solid and i like it's Playstyle Especially the lack of pride aspect of him is personal appealing to me
i have to say found this channel a while back and i love the skyrim builds you do my faviourt one so far is the orc one you guys did so hope to see more orc ones in the further anyway another awesome video keep up the great work :]
I’m playing this build now but I used one mod to put an two handed katana in the game basically just an ebony blade with no enchantment it looks awesome. I also added alchemy Fight with honor but don’t let an opponent get the first strike on legendary haha
Awesome build! I never thought of pairing quick reflexes with 2 handed strikes. I had tested it out and I want to try and blend it with your Ashland Wanderer for the ultimate Dunmer adventurer
Wow I've just finished the game with a Dunmer Samurai build of my own, the "Morag Tong Grandmaster" and your build is just what I needed to go back into another samurai playthrough, the outfit is pitch perfect and the addition of magic with paralyzing palm really adds up ! Note that the exact same outfit can be created in Morrowind and the special moves can be covered by the unarmored perk and the sanctuary spells alongside a paralyzing touch ^^ Can't wait to play with this build in both Skyrim and Morrowind !! (For Skyrim I might recommand the KatanaCrafting mod that adds the same Steel Dai-Katana from Morrowind with really balanced stats and great aesthetic)
This is a fun build. I’m a fan of two handed weapon combat in this game but I usually just brute smash my way through everything. I like that this build comes with a “special moves” discussion and the samurai’s vow not to initiate combat. it really helped me step back and look at my play style and incorporate the play mechanics y’all suggest. Though, I still slaughter the undead without wasting time on ceremony. Another thing I like about this build is the fact it doesn’t rely on enchanting to exist. I struggle with enchanting heavily because it requires the souls of animals and individuals to be trapped in a gem and turn destroyed in fueling that skill. It never quite “clicked” until I did the Dawnguard quest that has you entering into that purgatory-like soul gem and all the folk who are trapped in that hell. In fact, I’ve stopped playing Skyrim on many occasions because this aspect runs me the wrong way. Along with fighting side by side with the vampire lady. I wanted to kill her so many times but the game wouldn’t let me. So I quit. I come back from time to time to see if I can play on moral grounds that don’t cause me to flinch and quit. This build allows me to do that. Side note, there’s a way to get an ebony greatsword and bow right out of the gate in some tombs southeast of Morthal. Took a bit of work but finally got both weapons.
I wanted to do a samurai and found this video, now I have a Redguard, looking like a Mongol Using these cloths and the Dragonbane. such an easy to make and cool to play build! ^^

recently started using the redoran exile armor mod and man it goes perfect with the added content.
This is very cool! been playing anniversary aimlessly so far, but Ive found what I needed.
This is a great build! I love seeing a samurai character so well thought out! Great work!
I am playing this right now and ngl, this is the first two handed build I actually enjoy! Nice work guys! Keep them coming!
I can't wait to see what amazing ideas you come up with the abundance of cc content!
Yes yall are back with a great build can a new playthrough. But can we all just say that this charter would sit down and relax in the wild with the ghost of Atmore.
Welcome back guys, great video as always, I'm really happy you're back
Thank you! I’ve been so stuck for build ideas. I wanted to do a warrior with a twist and this looks perfect! You earned a sub today!
Awesome! Thank you!
Did not expect a Mount & Blade reference! That's always been my favorite combat system, I was so happy to see Chivalry 2 go in that direction.
Love this character so much I would love to watch a show based on him
sheesh that man got the drip! that was a nice blademaster build.
Hey that’s a fun idea :)
@@Skypothesis sorry for bringing this up but you could use the boots of blinding speed in anniversary edition
New playthrough?
New playthrough haha. Glad y'all are back!
I'm 15 hours into a variant of this character. The immersion, the glass cannon gameplay requiring precise timing, and just how well this build falls into Survival mode- I'm having the best time playing the game since my very first playthrough. Thank you for the work you do.
Really loving your consistency. Love to see you keep them coming !
OMG I've been waiting for a new build for so looong, THANK YOU IT'S AWESOME ❤
So glad to see this epic build and that you guys have returned i missed you guys and your content!
Amazing build, really liked the armor combo and the backstory, I'll try to adapt this to my next morrowind playtrough since i dont have skyrim anymore.
Do you know where to get the robes?
Two years later and this build is still a thing of beauty! The aesthetic and the roleplay just fit together perfectly and the editing is next level!
The idea of a Dark Elf wandering Samurai is awesome gonna try this build out for sure 😁👍
Wait ?! its like exactly the same build as mine on morrowind like 12 years ago.
Glad you found us, and thanks!!
How am I just finding your channel. These builds are incredible. So in depth and fantastic. Great job!
Welcome back this is awesome guys
hyyyyyyype i’m so stoked !!
My favourite build yet ! Great job indeed!
Ive probably restarted 10 times now and this might be the build that keeps me going
Would really like to see your take on a witch hunter/witcher style build as that was my most played back in the day
Amazing build! That’s my new character sorted
While I don’t play vanilla anymore I LOVE this channel for the stories you guys come up with and I use theses builds as a footprint for my modded play👍🏼
Holy Mother of Pearl! I can't wait to dive into this one. Outstanding as always
Well well well, this snuck under the radar! No notification or nothing, and that's okay because I'm thoroughly and happily surprised.
So good to see you guys again! I missed yall ! Exceptional build as always
Sorry, I pushed the like button before I begin to watch, I'm too excited !
Now I can enjoy the video ! :D
Such an awesome build. Btw, check out Her Hand armor instead of the robes for a more full-blown samurai aesthetic; it looks so sick.
It’s so good to see another build from u guys and what a great one as well, worth the wait for sure. Keep up the good work 😁
I think the next build I play will be something like this. I love your builds they all feel super unique and I think you guys make the absolute best out of the new anniversary edition content, more so than others. I don't really tend to play other people's builds, but you ALWAYS give me inspiration for my playthroughs. Thank u for the tons of inspiration :)
Yes I’ve missed these builds soooooo much
I love the builds Of The Channel , make more redguards builds please
👀 stay tuned!
I actually playing The Oblivion Sentinel The build is so cool and strong
@@jamesfeerer3966 That sounds like so much fun. Also the remnant armor is 🔥🔥🔥
I can't get over how amazing these videos are...
The Tribunal are the living Gods: Vivec, Almalexia, and Sotha Sil. Not the Daedra
You’ve confused the reclamations with the tribunal
A martial artist destruction alteration unarmed build or something like that could be interesting or a traveling cook alchemy build probably cannibalistic or not
I enjoy playing the build of your video his story is solid and i like it's Playstyle
Especially the lack of pride aspect of him is personal appealing to me
i have to say found this channel a while back and i love the skyrim builds you do my faviourt one so far is the orc one you guys did so hope to see more orc ones in the further anyway another awesome video keep up the great work :]
Thanks man!
And just when the world needed them most… they returned
I’m playing this build now but I used one mod to put an two handed katana in the game basically just an ebony blade with no enchantment it looks awesome. I also added alchemy Fight with honor but don’t let an opponent get the first strike on legendary haha
I legit screamed when I saw this
Awesome video! Man this is super cool.
My BF is replaying Ghost Of Tsushima. Gorgeous game. I’ll be trying this out as a companion piece to that. Love this.
FIrst video of yours I've been recommended and watched immediately, subbed instantly. Good shit
Great video like always!
Note that the exact same outfit can be created in Morrowind and the special moves can be covered by the unarmored perk and the sanctuary spells alongside a paralyzing touch ^^
Can't wait to play with this build in both Skyrim and Morrowind !!
(For Skyrim I might recommand the KatanaCrafting mod that adds the same Steel Dai-Katana from Morrowind with really balanced stats and great aesthetic)
I always love the builds these guys do
Just played a samurai dual wielding blade's recruiter.
Recruiting a blade from each guild.
Had to come back now that we've met his top pupil
Encore un build incroyable ! Merci pour vos créations, cela me donne de l'inspiration pour mes aventures en Bordeciel :D
Welcome back gentlemen. Another great build to start off another great season to come.
I wanted to do a samurai and found this video, now I have a Redguard, looking like a Mongol Using these cloths and the Dragonbane. such an easy to make and cool to play build! ^^
