- After filming the (sadly uninteresting) Armor elevators at Macy’s at Broadway Mall (you won’t get to see that footage) I decide to railfan at Hicksville, since the station is just two blocks away from Broadway Mall. For some reason, I only caught Huntington trains. Notice how a major hub like Hicksville is confined to one platform on the Main Line. You will see comparisons in a later video on the Babylon Branch.
Train 1 - LIRR 7713 to PENN STATION
M7 7367 leading, M7 7304 trailing
Next Stop: WESTBURY
Train 2 - LIRR 6656 to HUNTINGTON (PORT JEFFERSON)
M7 7430 leading, M7 7271 trailing
Next Stop: SYOSSET
Train 3 - LIRR 8057 to PENN STATION
M7 7503 leading, M7 7028 trailing
Next Stop: JAMAICA
Train 4 - LIRR 7716 to HUNTINGTON
M7 7078 leading, M7 7583 trailing
Next Stop: SYOSSET

Nice new announcements!
In the description, Train 1 next stop is actually Carle Place not Westbury. (the train skips westbury)
Sound the same as BTS sky train in Bangkok.
How come when someone is railfanning the conductor walks out of the train right where the railfan is
I guess because of where the guy is standing, since conductors typically stand by the front of the train car where the engineers booth is.
@@TheGamingTechs actually there's more than one conductor in the lirr. While operating a locomotive one of the conductors must hand signal at the end of the train so the conductor at the front of the train can know when to signal the engineer that its clear to proceed.
Its a very long m7 lol 10-12 cars.
Aug Snow Yes there are at least 2 conductors. One steps out of the train, usually at the back and monitors the doors. When no passengers are walking near the doors, they signal the all clear and the other conductor closes the doors.
