Stop scamming people out of money
Rob looking directly at the camera at 45:40 knowing exactly what was *ahem* 'coming' was HILARIOUS. 🤣
Rob's face throughout is amazing, just that look of mischief and expectation is so funny
I was HOWLING HAHAHAAHAH!
omg i was just gonna comment tjis, it was fantastic HAHAHAHAH
the "OH YEAH. OH YEAH" kills meeeeeeeee
Felt like a Family Guy skit
Rob is gonna be fighting for his life over all the second hand embarrassment 😅. Personally I loved this film, It’s been on my mind constantly since I watched it.
yeah, outside of the weird shit. it was a really good, immersive, and intriguing film
Loved the first half, and thought second half was alright. The karaoke scene and the montage were my fav.
I’m the complete opposite I just wanted it to end the entire time 😂 it was a very disturbing film idk how people loved it. I mean the cinematography and acting was good but that’s about it for me
@@MP-1218It’s meant to be disturbing lol not exactly a valid criticism
@@tico5058 Of course. I know that it was supposed to be that way. Im not criticizing the movie by saying it’s not for me. Objectively speaking it’s nothing technically wrong with the film it’s just not my taste.
Rob saying “we’ve arrived” At the bathtub scene took me out like yep the antics have truly begun🎉
I was just thinking - you think this is arriving? You have no idea what's coming.
I don't think Ollie loved Felix. I think he idolized him. I think he was infatuated and obsessed with him. I think he wanted to _be_ him. I think he loved the riches, the vanity, the hedonism, the debauchery, the status. But I don't think he ever actually loved him.
Agreed
I think it was all of the above.
I fully agree
What else to expect from a psycopath
Everyone keeps asking if Ollie loved Felix but I want to know if Felix loved Ollie. He gets jealous when he finds out about Ollie and Venecia and also doesn’t really pull away or say anything like “I’m straight” in the maze scene.
The lunch scene right after Felix’s death is so well done, especially when you consider that each character at the table represent the 5 stages of grief. Elsebeth is Denial, Sir James is Anger, Farleigh is Bargaining, Venetia is Depression, and Oliver is Acceptance. Amazing film.
That’s awesome!!
I love that Rob doesn't even THINK about waiting to watch movies for the first time on the channel & watches them as soon as they come out lol
i rather him wait or just not be in a video . They used to have reactions that excluded a person that has already seen what was being watched… i wonder why not anymore?
@@starprincessjolieI personally don't mind. I think it's funny that every video starts off with "so Rob has seen this already" lol it's like a running bit at this point
I feel the same way! It takes me out of it as soon as I hear him say it it’s not even a reaction from him at this point
@@galacticcbitxh3641it was funny for a time but now it’s just repetitive. I can understand it with older movies. But I don’t see why he can’t just watch the newer movies on the channel like Bryce and zuff.
As fun as it is seeing Rob watch things for the first time cuz it’s so rare…I also don’t think him already seeing something takes away from the reactions.
rob's face to the camera during the grave scene while zuff's going "WHATS GOING ON HERE?!" is killing me hahahaah
"They probably dont have rehab in Liverpool." This movie, especially 90% of Rosamund Pike's lines, was so much funnier than I was expecting this movie to be from the reaction the internet had to it.
It's not exactly a comedy, but there are some pretty hilarious lines in it and most of them come from Felix's parents who are so woefully out of touch with the real world that they are comical.
@@PowerDiva I mean it is technically a black comedy- that kind of dark, dry, deadpan kind of humour is very british (as emerald fennel is) so I think itll come across differently to different people and whether youre used to that kind of humour or not.
the satirical elements is one of the film’s strongest parts for sure
during the funny moments, i found it so hard to laugh tbh. i was just studying oliver
So my understanding is that Oliver did have a genuine interest in Felix. He also wanted to worm his way into their family for the money. He was content to worm his way in by manipulation, seduction, and charm, but once Felix found out he was lying about his family, he had "no choice" (he did- he could have walked away) but to murder them and take their money that way. I think that's why even though he wanted in, he seems greatly saddened after Felix dies (even if it was his fault). He was willing to destroy their family still though to get the life he wanted.
by money I mean saltburn too@tinker_belle41
6:39 robs facial expressions are killing me cause HE KNOWS what rlly happened to felix’s bike
They suck
@@wesdalton7369 Literally who are you saying this to?
Rob just staring into the camera as the grave scene is beginning is so real
There’s so much to be said about this movie. I don’t think it’s just for shocking people, all the crazy scenes actually have a lot of meaning to them. Oliver wants so badly to be “old money” but that’s literally impossible for him to achieve since he wasn’t born into it. So this is the shit he does to get as close as he can to what the family represents to him. Like an “I’ll consume you to become you” kind of thing.
It’s definitely unnecessary and definitely for shock value. There’s not art in this movie. It’s all griss
@@firstthings_first9828just say you havent seen the movie LMAO
@@firstthings_first9828that what I thought before watching, but there’s actually a lot of substance and meaning to it. It impressed me
I love how the first half everyone’s like letsss fucking gooooo ollie 😁😁😁 then the second half is like … ollie 😳🤢😦
Bryce's frozen uncomfortable look during the entire grave scene is everything. It says I'm trying to keep a neutral face because I'm on camera, but I am dying inside. lol
Fun fact - I read that the final dance scene wasn't in the original script. Oliver was originally supposed to walk through the house then crawl into bad, satisfied. But Barry Keoghan talked to the director and felt like it needed something more than that and they came up with the naked dancing instead. It is like you said, his 'victory dance' after securing Saltburn for himself. And let's face it, we've all danced through the house naked when we're home alone. It felt like a much more appropriate ending.
Zuff is gobsmacked, Rob wants the earth to swallow him up and Bryce is just over it this is probably one of your funniest reactions love y’all🤣
They suck
I walked into this film solely for the cast. I was not expecting the direction this movie went in, and MANY visceral reactions later, I thoroughly enjoyed it! So glad y’all reacted to this one. 😂

Thank you for your service 🙏🏻
This timeline will be appreciated forever. Thank you.
I found myself yelling “Oliver!” and “oh, don’t do that Oliver” multiple times at my screen when I first watched it lol 😂
Rob looking at us during the grave scene had me rolling 😂.
So dumb
Robs face staring the camera at the funeral scene before starting 😂😂😂😂
My favorite part of this video has to be at 45:38 when Rob looks directly at the camera with a face that says, "Oh yeah, this is happening and we're watching this." Absolutely right about Rosamund Pike too. Her delivery and inflection of every line was perfect. Also, love the little Heartstopper piece you have with all the Funko pops.
**SPOILERS**
not sure if it’s a good thing or a bad one, but I wasn’t necessarily shocked or anything watching this like most people seemed to be😭 my favorite scene, as troubling as it was, is after felix (Jacob’s) death. That entire scene felt so raw like they just didn’t know how to function without felix’s presence and it was so good.
totally agree, the lunch scene after they find him in the maze is my fave for sure
You guys should add Killing of a Sacred Deer to the list! Barry is one of the main characters as well. Dark film, but best to go into it without knowing much of the plot/story.
Agreed!!!
Love that movie!
If you want to see more of Barry being absolutely unhinged, would love to see a reaction to The Killing of a Sacred Deer!
Funny that Zuff mentioned Midsommar vibes because the guy who plays Farleigh is on Midsommar 😉
He wanted it all at any cost..... it's uncomfortable, weird, sick, fascinating, sad, funny and extremely entertaining. Most people who see it love it and find a weird feeling of empathy for Oliver in the end...... I think that was the mission.
@nxyla123 I would never cheer someone on that did anything even close to this...... my point is I felt sorry for him because he was so broken and had such mental illness and you wonder how someone this young and intelligent could be so sick and what did he experience in his life that encouraged his behavior. I sure as hell wouldn't want to be his friend. But he is just a character in a movie and for this particular situation I found him fascinating of course because of the brilliant acting.
@wesdalton7369 It's mindless entertainment that is an escape from the real world for a couple of hours. It's not going to improve your life or change you in any way except maybe show you how crazy people could be.
In fact for me it was exactly the opposite, I gradually lost my empathy for Oliver as the film progressed and at the same time that this was happening I began to sympathize with Farleigh, a character I hated in the beggining, it was as if an exchange happened!
The most uncomfortable scene for me was when Michael took a bite from the middle of the chocolate bar 😵💫😵💫
Not the period scene🤣😩

I'm thrilled to see your reactions to this 😂😂😂 I just watched it a few days ago!
Yah, this and Poor Things are both excellent movies to see in theaters surrounded by strangers (or while sitting next to your mother on Christmas Day 😅)
Funny enough, the scene where Felix meets Oliver's parents was the only time i had to pause the movie to cringe 😂
I gave myself a week to finish it omggg
I just watched this 2 days ago so I’m very excited to see y’all’s reaction😭 In a weird way, some aspects of this movie reminds me of parasite
Definitely underlying parasite vibes.
Definitely Talented Mr. Ripley.
@@leah6849I loved that movie
My thoughts were a mash up of Parasite and the talented Mr Ripley meet Brideshead revisited.
I think Felix was aware of Oliver’s attraction to him and Oliver was watching him but didn’t say anything because he likes the attention he was getting and was used to being desired. For example the bathroom on Oliver’s Side is “ accidentally “ open and his loud moaning implies that he knew that Oliver was watching. Then the fact that Felix got upset when he got with Venitia and the fact that the door was locked a f the mirror was fixed after he got with Farliegh. Also when Oliver asked if he could still be friends and Felix said “ No you lied Oliver and upon other things.” Implying that Felix probably knows all of the weird things that Oliver was doing but just didn’t acknowledge it until Felix was not the person he thought he was.
I totally forgot about the mirror being fixed, also the door being locked, it was such short scenes and I overlooked it because of all the other shit happening 😅
@@Adryanna90 I did too but I caught that when i rewatched the movie a few times
No one cares

Rob’s direct eye contact to the camera during the grave scene was the best start to my 2024 😅
AUDIBLY STARTED GIGGLING WHEN I SAW THE TITLE OF THIS VIDEO, IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS REACTION
BRYCE, THE GRAVE SCENE WAS IMPROV ONE SHOT OF IMPROV
It wasn't improv. It wasn't in the script but he talked about it with the director prior
Not Rob looking at the camera on that scene pleaseeee😭😭😭
Lmao i can’t 💀
Rob’s expressions to the camera as the grave scene started 😂😂😂
Also, Venetia’s monologue is my absolute favorite
I have not been able to stop saying “ASK ME A SUM THEENN” 🤣
guys PLEASE react to The Hunger Games! Yall should take advantage of it being trending again! I know you'll really enjoy it
I love this movie. Barry is so good. You guys should check out The Killing of a Sacred Deer!
Also Michael, his first “friend” at Oxford also plays Aemond in House of the Dragon.
omg i can’t wait to see you guys reactions….lmao 😂
Good lord I appreciated that eye contact during the grave scene so much. Felt like a comforting pat on the back
zuff "that cant be good" killed me
Lmao robs glances at the camera had me ROLLING
It's over a decade before Oliver goes back to Saltburn - you see covid masks in the background. I loved this film - can't get it out of my mind- gorgeous cinematography, the acting is top notch, wild twists. As far as the notorious scenes - it is WAY tamer than many movies- other than the final dance, the only nudity is Venetia's butt in he field and a silhouette moment at the grave. No explicit sex- the only "sex" scenes are Farleigh/Oliver, Felix in the maze, and the vampire moment - and we don't actually see any body parts in ANY of them. No explicit violence, very little language. But it gets an R rating for what it does to people's imagination. :)
For all of the characters people are... disposable.
robs reaction is fucking killing me you can tell he’s just holding his breath trying not to laugh
45:49 😂 IDK why but this was the funniest part of the reaction. Truly the question on everyone's mind for the entire movie. Zuff was so accurate with his guesses!!
I watched this alone at home and literally screamed and had to pause at the bathtub scene 💀💀💀 I don't regret watching it but genuinely don't think I could sit through it ever again.
Dammit I was hoping rob hadn’t seen it to witness the first ever reactions 😂 Save them if you can rob we love it!
ITS A MURDER ON THE DANCE FLOOR, BUT YOU BETTER NOT KILL THE GROOVE
If Bryce and Zuff haven’t seen Banshees of Inisherin that would be a great reaction!! Saw the movie during TIFF a couple years ago and was blown away by it. Barry Keoghan, Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson, doesn’t get much better, and then you add Jenny the Donkey!
Barry and Colin are also in The Killing of a Sacred Deer, which is a strange movie lol
SALTBURN😭 I can’t wait to see the guy’s reactions to this 🤣
Okay Im only on the intro and ive been dying laughing, robs face knowing what his friends are going into and that he has to sit there and watch Oliver slurp bathtub juice later on while they watch for the first time is killing me.
The movie sucks
why do you keep saying it sucks? it aint the best movie but whats the good in hating?@@wesdalton7369
HELL YES, the way I screamed when the notification popped up. GUYSSSS what a rollercoaster lmao
Oh my gosh I didn't expect yall to check this out I hadn't been to the movies in a minute and usually dont feel its worth it but hearing how relaxed people would be in the theater and I loved that everyone around me didnt hold back their screams and laughs it was great 😂 Also the score is so fantastic 💓
It’s the way I FLEW out of my bed to grab my headphones so I could watch this immediately I just love you guys!!
Barry Keoghan is going to be a superstar. I hope y’all will consider watching “The Killing of a Sacred Deer.” Keoghan is in that as well and it’s a fantastic movie.
Just going to leave my weekly plea for Good Omens here. Thanks!
Rob, your face at the beginning of the grave scene is pure gold! Lol
15:00 great example of the truth being the worst thing you can say. Felix is literally indifferent to her, so no, he won't be jealous at all...but was Oliver a 'good guy' for telling her the truth that is terrible, or would the wrong-right thing have been to LIE to her, feed her ego, say oh yeah he'll be SO jealous, and manipulate her into sleeping with him?
Interesting questions, no good or correct answer.
He SHOULD have played it as "He's a piece of shit, what do you even care about him? WE'RE together right now, forget about him or anyone else, I AM".
You guys should watch Triangle Of Sadness. That movie is WILD
I love triangle of sadness
@@kassiogomes8498 it would be such a good reaction movie hey?!

I wasn't sure what to make of this movie after watching it but it sure was intriguing and unlike anything I've seen before, kind of draws you in. (And Barry Keoghan was some great casting!) Interesting to see what Emerald Fennel does next!
Haven’t watched the reaction but I watched this the other day. I am so excited you guys watched this. I’ve seen some messed up movies but this one a couple of times I was saying no no no stop stop stop!
There's a British, reaction RUclipsr who says the average American would probably miss the huge disparity between classes viewing this film. I can see that.

omg finally, I watched this two days ago and still can't believe my eyes
The boys were put through the ringer here omfg the things we do for cinema
oh my god! you reacted to this. did you guys even take a break? but this is a welcome surprise :D
Farleigh was kicked out for doing lines cause the whole reason he’s living off his aunt and her husband is cause his mom is a drug addict. At least that’s what I guessed.
They kicked him out because they think he (unintentionally) caused Felix's death. Oliver put a bunch of cocaine in the alcohol so that Felix would essentially OD.
ollie is such a kind guy
😂😂😂
yessssssss just what I needed! my favs reacting to saltburn!! I finally had the chance to watch it a few days ago and was obsessed so I agree with you rob I loved itt 😂don't know what that says about me either
I liked the performances throughout the film had problems with the ending but still a enjoyable watch can’t wait to see how zuff reacts in particular
hahahah love the reactions! great movie to watch with friends :) I will try next : hahahahah
I feel that although Felix is seen as a good friend, he is actually egocentric, his life and family show the way he is.
Felix usually has friends who are on a lower social scale than him and in some way he wants to show himself as their savior, that is, he wants to show himself to society as a kind, humble person to be admired and recognized for everything. A scene that could confirm this is when Oliver and Felix are in the room at the U and Oliver begins to tell him how disorganized Felix's room is, he gets upset and kicks him out basically because he has shown him a side of himself that does not feed his ego. Likewise, his family is not interested in the beneficial actions and their great impact, but rather in the positive appearances that they bring.
Likewise, Oliver, another egocentric person who, on the contrary, appears to be shy and quiet, comes to Saltburn and adapts his internal ego and externalizes it to the point of not wanting to leave Saltburn even if he has to go over Felix.
The hurtful words spoken to Oliver in Saltburn, a luxurious place more worthy of his ego, affect him in a deeper way than at the U.
And that's why he kills everyone hahahaha Okay no but I loved the movie, Barry right in the heart and I loved your reactions guys as always :3
I had literally just started watching the movie when you guys posted. Had to finish it before coming here and... I have unlocked new traumas and paranoias.

rob during the grave scene LMAO
Did you notice the composition of the shots? From the camera’s view everyone is tall looking down on him and he’s looking up to everyone, unless he is about to dominate them. Then he’s on top looking down at them. Even the shot of him blowing out the birthday cake candles. He is so small at the head of the table and everyone else are like pillars around him and his reflection in the table has his image messed up and spreading from his smallness at the cake to sprawling larger down the table, as he is plotting how to get Saltburn. This kind of class warfare are all over this film. I loved your reactions!! It was so funny to watch how uncomfortable you got… and right in the middle… these knowing looks, just waiting for the reactions.
