Cecropia
Kekropia, known by its Latin name, is a genus of plants native to the Andes Mountains and South American tropical rainforests, living in symbiosis with ants, that is, "myrmecophyte", and containing 61 known species. The cooperation of Kekropia with ants makes it ecologically important. It is quite common in the rainforest ecosystem where it is found. "Cecropia is a common tree genus. While it was previously included in the mulberry family, that is, Moraceae, it was later included in the nettle family, that is, Urticaceae."
