Right. Here is a "beginner" who went out and bought a table saw, a planer, a jigsaw, a huge work bench, 30 clamps, a miter saw, a gigantic belt sander, cylinder sander, and then proceeds to draw six angles with no explanation whatsoever. Is this some kind of joke? All for a head phone holder? Just toss the head phones in the drawer and save us the time.
I'm going to say if you can't figure out how to do this with basic tools then this probably isn't a hobby or job for you. Just because he is using higher end tools dosnt mean a beginner could not do this with a couple of basic tools.
@@Robert-n1x disagree beginner means no experience just starting out this is not a beginner level woodworking project, it's a lot of work for what it is does looks awesome though
I stopped watching when the 3rd or 4th major tool appeared. No explanations for assistance. I don't even know what was being built but this certainly wasn't a video for beginners.

This misleading project requires a range of skills that 'beginners' are unlikely to have, and a workshop equipped with an extensive range of power tools to make the project possible!
Exactly. It's not even just the fact that they're using lots of different expensive tools. It's that there are many processes involved, a lot going on. For a beginner project, I expect something much simpler than this. I have seen other people point this out, and some respond that oh, you could do this with much simpler tools. Fine, but beginners like me might know that or might not. I enjoy watching this kind of work, just don't call it a "beginner project"

The part of the title for this video that said for beginners is a bit misleading. Very few beginners are going to have the machines you used. That said the headphone stand is really cool. If you wanted to sell them you'd have to charge a good price considering the amount of time it would take to make one. I didn't figure out what it was going to be till very end when you hung the headphones on. Nice little surprise. Good job on your video.
Cool project! I personally believe any beginner can do this project! People making excuses about the equipment when technically all you need is a jigsaw, glue, sandpaper, the stuff in the cup, stain, time and initiative. By the way what is that stuff in the cup!
No way a beginner is going to spend so many hours and buy so many clamps just to make this small piece of project. Maybe years down the road, but not now. Most of us want to learn something simple first, like a box, or an end table, or a small Christmas tree,.not this elaborate project 😂.
Of during the build you want to use your huge tool set thats fine but whole doing the video you need to explain what youre doing and how we could do it with what most beginners have loke a circular saw and drill. Not a bandsaw and table saw
The irony of this video: Easy Make is the description. Ok sir. No way I'm wasting all that wood and 4 days of my life for that small project. Looks good though! 😂
Cool project for sure. But, beginners probably won't have a table saw, a thickness planer, a band saw, or sliding miter saw. Oh, I almost forgot, we don't have those cool large clamps, because we're beginners.
I can’t believe you have so many views. I guess click bait pays off. I’m always looking for new channels. But you did not deliver. This is not for a beginner if you need a fully furnished production shop.
Yeah, because every beginner has a band saw, 12 parallel clamps, a thicknesser and multiple sanding machines. The result wasn’t worth the effort either.
That's a great idea. I need something like that because I always pack mine away in their box when I've finished using them, and it becomes tedious sometimes.
I agree with most comments about this being a little much for a beginner but if he would have shown what he was making first, I would have just hand drawn that piece on paper, use that to cut it out of a solid piece without all the gluing boards together and sand it with palm sander, finished with hand sanding, stained and varnish, and I bet you would not know the difference.
As soon as my $1,000's of equipment is delivered I'll get started because your instructions for beginners was so clear....oh yeah no instructions on what you were doing. Just speed through the video ....waste of my time.🙄
It's difficult to watch something that says for beginners when no beginner has quite the arsenal of tools like this.

You forgot band saw
As a 70 year old woodworker that was an elaborate process. Glue it cut it sand it job done.
So much for that?
I thought the same thing. Not to mention that he has a boat load of money tied up in the shop and plenty of state of the art tools.

I play all of these on 2x speed. Then if I like what's happening, I'll slow it down.
Where's the project for beginners? I have a miter saw, jig saw, circular saw, and a small garage. How is this for beginners?
OMG! Could have one delivered from Amazon in a day while using my woodwork skills to build something worthwhile.

Alot of work for a simple item, but all in all well done. .

What did you use to color the wood (the liquid in the cup)? Is that ammonia?
Ditto

I am not sure if I would feel right about wasting all that wood for a headphone holder.
If you're a beginner with all that expensive equipment, you've got more money than sense!
All that festool gear and it took him that long is embarrassing. Could have cut that in a third easily
He uses his father's shop. He is in many of his father's videos too. He is learning from a very skilled woodworker.
Nice beginner workshop! 😂😂😂
While a nice, fairly simple project the assortment of tools, some very high end, is a little much for the beginning woodworker.

Not in the slightest.
Those saw grinding sounds are great in my headphones. Thanks.
the title confused me, should have been easy project for expeienced woodorker with lots of tools
to be fair, i think that would be more confusing......
It's a big job
Why would you bother to fume to get coloration if you’re just going to stain it? Please explain.
Thank you for viewing.
I don't paint the piece at the end, I just coat it with clear wood oil.

Yes, what is the clear clear liquid in the bottle that was placed in the trash can that changed the color of the wood?
