Jim Cummings and Frank Welker are both the modern day Mel Blanc and their range is absolutely remarkable. They both voiced some of the best parts of my childhood.
My friend (and drummer’s) dad was Daws Butler, an American voice actor. He worked mostly for the Hanna-Barbera animation production company, where he originated the voices of many familiar characters, including Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, Snagglepuss, Auggie Doggie, Loopy De Loop, Wally Gator, Quick Draw McGraw and Baba Looey, Snooper and Blabber, Hokey Wolf, Elroy Jetson, Peter Potamus, The Funky Phantom and Hair Bear.
*Frank Welker will always be one of my all time favourite voice actors.* The guy has voiced so many of my childhood favorites and the fact that despite his age he still continues to voice characters like Fred & Scooby-Doo and Megatron (and his voice acting for Megatron has just gotten better and better over the years), I've always been impressed by his vocal range and I'll always be grateful for all the characters he's brought to life over the years.
These are great, and there are many more. Agreed, we need a bigger list to honor these talented VAs. I hope my fav Nolan North makes it on the next ones.
I was so happy to see the inclusion of June Foray in one of these voiceover lists. Unfortunately, she has been overlooked thanks to so many uncredited roles throughout her career. June deserves more recognition.
He played lots of characters both good guys and bad guys like Darkwing Duck as mentioned Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, Razoul, Colonel Hathi, Ray, Taz, Pete, Dr. Robotnik, Negaduck, Fat Cat and Yosemite Sam at some points temporary replacing Maurice Lamarche.
I love Tress MacNellie, who'd have guessed that she provides the voice for some of my favourite animates characters, namely Daisy Duck, Dot Warner and Gadget Hackwrench?
@@HolyCross9 I think she did the voice for Dot in the 2020 reboot, but unfortunately somebody else is doing Babs in the Tiny Toon reboot coming this year
Interestingly, he even recorded some of his lines while on the hospital bed from an accident. He was in a coma at one point but came to with his Bugs Bunny voice. That man was SO dedicated to his work.
For me, Mel Blanc will always be The Best of all voice acting for many reasons but mainly on the fact that this man Literally voiced 97% of an entire company for decades
Tara Strong, Cree Summer, Jim Cummings, Rob Paulsen, Nika Futterman, Jennifer Hale, Tress MacNellie, Russi Taylor (R.I.P.), Greg Cipes, Patrick Warburton, James Woods, Frank Walker, Grey DeLisle-Griffin, Dee Bradley Baker, Kari Wahlgren, Billy West, Kristen Schaal (only as the Voice of Mabel Pines from Gravity Falls), Jessica DiCicco, Jack Black, Mae Whitman, Tim Curry, Mark Hamill, Mindy Cohn Gilbert Gottfried (R.I.P.), Dan Castellaneta and Steve Blum are all Super Incredible and Remarkable Voice Actors and Actresses Throughout the Years from my Childhood. They're all Super Talented when they're all Working Together.
These actors are proof that voice acting is more than just a job, Because for professionals such as the people on this list it's a talent, A form of art and a way of life! And they put their hearts and souls into their performances never failing to entertain and make us proud of them!
I'm shocked at this list. A lot of them are on this list like Mel, Frank, Jim and Rob among others that deserve those spots. But, there should be a top 20 because not only is Tom Kenny missing, but Fred Tatasciore and Steve Blum are as well! Fred is never talked about enough and his vocal range still blows my mind! Same with Steve; his range is so impressive that I never know it's him until I look at the IMDB
I couldn’t of anything nostalgic, but starting in 2010, these celebrities have proven to be amazing voice performers. Tara Strong, Grey Griffin, Peter Cullen, Frank Welker, Fred Tatascoire, Hank Azaria, Jim Cummings. I’m gonna need a list of celebrities I enjoyed so far as I love.
Thank you for highlighting actors who make their living doing VO work! They are truly at the top of their game. Actors & writers are currently on strike over fair wages & revised contract agreements, & it's videos like this that make you remember that successful actors are not JUST the ones you know from big movies or television series. It spans across many platforms & types of performances :)
I got to meet Billy West in June at a con near Tacoma, Washington and he’s incredibly kind, generous and funny. His Stimpy helped me laugh in some really difficult times in my life.
As a 2000's kid myself, I have to admit, I was surprised to find that Rob Paulson actually voiced experienment 625 (later known as) Ruben from Lilo and Stitch the series. He's definitely an incredible voice actor in his own right
This should’ve a top 20 because you left out so many other VA’s like Tom Kenny, Nancy Cartwright, Eric Bauza, Jeff Bergman, Cree Summer, Jennifer Hale, Elizabeth Daily, Candi Milo etc
Tara Strong will always be my favorite girl. I got to meet her and her husband at ComicCon and she was such a sweetheart! And I love Seth Macfarlane's voice acting, but I like his singing a lot more.
No one talks about Keith Ferguson but they should. Reaper from Overwatch, Lord Hater from Wander Over Yonder, Marluxia from Kingdom Hearts, and BLOO FROM FOSTER’S HOME FOR IMAGINARY FRIENDS. It’s unreal how all those characters were voiced by the same guy.

Each and every one of you forgot about Alan Oppenheimer. He did so many voices in the original He-Man that it’s unreal, has done countless cartoons since then and still does them to this very day.

5:14 I consider Mark Hamill qs the definitive Jiker but i really enjoyed Kevin Michael Richardson's take on the character, he's probably my second or third favorite after Mark
I’ve liked Rob Paulsen for voicing Donatello in the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles tv show, Carl Wheezer in The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius, and Stanley Ipkiss/The Mask in The Mask: Animated Series. I’ve liked Jim Cummings in many different Disney-related media, starting with The Lion King when he voiced Ed. I’ve learned like his voice over as Winnie the Pooh and Tigger. I’ve known Grey DeLisle for her voice over work as Daphne Blake in the Scooby-Doo franchise, Frankie Foster in Foster’s Home For Imaginary Friends, and Vicky in The Fairly OddParents. Tara Strong has voiced the titular character, Ben Tennyson, on my favorite childhood cartoon tv show, Ben 10.
I’ve always loved videos like this. As much as I love animation I don’t know many of the voices behind the scenes. It sometimes feel they don’t get there time in the spotlight, so it’s always nice to see them get there time.
My favorite voices that Tara Strong has done is Timmy Turner, Barbara Gordon, Raven and Twilight those are the ones I like the most I'm not sure if there's others that I like I mean since I'm not really a fan of powerpuff girls that much don't give me flak for that please
When you talk about Kevin Michael Richardson, you simply cannot leave out his performances as Shredder in TMNT 2012 and Bulkhead in Transformers Prime and Robots in Disguise
Peter Cullen, Frank Welker, Michael Bell, Charlie Adler, Mel Blanc, Ed Gilbert, Morgan Lofting, Melendy Britt, B.J. Ward, Linda Gary, Susan Blu, and Tara Strong.
My Top 10: #1. Tara Strong #2. Mel Blanc #3. Steve Blum #4. Grey Delisle #5. Tom Kenny #6. Phil Lamarr #7. Jeff Bennett #8. Cree Summer #9. Rob Paulsen #10. Candi Milo Honorable mentions: Kevin Michael Richardson, Jim Cunnings, John Dimaggio & Yuri Lowenthal.
5:11 The only mystery I have with that collage is how the assemblers managed to forget Mogo from _Green Lantern: The Animated Series_ and Nabu/Doctor Fate from _Young Justice,_ the latter seeing him voice Doctor Fate in tandem with the actor who voices Nabu's host (In _Young Justice,_ Doctor Fate comes to life when a living host becomes possessed by Nabu by donning his helmet.). Ed Asner (Kent Nelson), Jason Spisak (Wally West), Khary Payton (Kaldur'ahm), Lacey Chabert (Zatanna), Nolan North (Giovanni Zatara), Usman Ally (Khalid Nassour), and Lauren Tom (Traci Thurston) have all voiced Doctor Fate alongside Richardson.
Jim Cummings is responsible for so much more than this video. Jeremy Irons blew his voice out as Scar singing Be Prepared. Who came to the rescue? Jim Cummings. Uncredited. He was also Ray in The Princess and the Frog, and that's just to start. Jim Cummings has been carrying Disney for so much longer than they deserve. Look him up, he's a national treasure. ❤
All love to Tara but Mel Blanc not #1? C'mon now. And how on earth was Tress the only Simpsons representation on this list? Dan, Hank, Harry, and Nancy all deserve a spot, too. Jim Cummings should be much higher. But I'm glad to see Seth here. I adore him. 😍
Would love to see Hynden Walch make one of these lists or at least be an honorable mention. Her range is mind blowing she can play someone who sounds sweet like Starfire from teen titans to a psychopath such as Harley Quinn and Breach from Generator Rex. It may not sound like a lot of characters but it’s still crazy.

Frank Walker also did the voice of Oswald the lucky rabbit
There needs to be Top 10 hottest actor voices... I can start you of: Jeremy Irons, Alan Rickman, James Spader
There's also Candy Candido. Would you believe that the guy who voiced the Indian chief from Peter Pan was capable of singing in a soprano voice?
All love to Tara but Mel Blanc not #1? C'mon now. And how on earth was Tress the only Simpsons representation on this list? Dan, Hank, Harry, and Nancy all deserve a spot, too. Jim Cummings should be much higher. But I'm glad to see Seth here. I adore him. 😍
Was gonna say!
I LOVE Tara Strong, buy my God, was Mel Blanc ultra talented!!!
