Really appreciate this video. I like how you covered not only the process, but the details and helpful tips. I really like the idea of the paper identifier. I am new to high volume so all your experience and advice is super helpful. Thanks again!

Just plain amazing advice here Vince! I’ve been doing this for 9 years and you covered a lot of good info. There are many ways to do volume photography and I like to see it I can improve.

Great video, I am kind of at where you were when you started. You have some great info here. I shot freelance sports for a local paper for a couple years which set me up with some good HS contacts. That helped me with some football, soccer, and band photos this year for a couple schools. All of your info is very helpful because I have heard that the younger the clients, the more the parents spend. I just need to figure out how to work backward from HS to the younger crowd.

Great Video full of useful information. One question, how do you handle parents asking if they can just "quickly" snap a cell phone or point and shoot photo of a group or single. It could be they are just gonna take a photo and not buy a packet or might just want one now for their phone and wait for the packet in a few weeks. I don't think it would be terrible if they just shot over your shoulder but interrupting would be a no go. Thanks so much.

Get a brother label printer. You can print a strip/roll of sequentially numbered barcodes. simply reset the numbering on the camera at the beginning of the shoot .

This was an amazing, helpful video. I currently do actions sports and I want to get into high volume portrait. In another video, will you cover how you register your business and get all the vital paperwork and registrations that allow you to run your business legally. 5/5 on this video!
