This was EXCELLENT! Such an awesome find. I can't believe the timing of this, I was asked the other day if there was a vegetarian friendly buffet by a friend recently and the best answer I had was that Bacchanal had humble vegan section. This is perfect! Thanks for the video brother!
I can't believe it. Mr. and Mrs. Explore Vegas go to a buffet with no carvery and no seafood. I was fascinated by this because I figure they serve the ultimate in vegan meat substitutes. Mrs. Explore Vegas' review of the chicken made me want to try a taste. For $48, I would rather go to a buffet with plenty of meat and other animal products, but I can think of two vegan friends of mine that would be thrilled to visit this buffet in Vegas.
I was plant based for many years and I have to say all these items looked great minus the bacon. It looked over cooked. I'm surprised there were not more vegetable dishes tho. It's nice to see more options for people with different diets.
Heaven for vegans! It’s nice when one of our family is vegan. Now she can enjoy herself. Even I’m not vegan but I can still find something to eat. Thank you to show us everything. ❤
that's the thing: vegan food is meant for everyone to eat, whereas low vibrational plates of dead animals are only meant for the select few who don't care about their health or what is inside them.
Thanks for showing an option for Vegans. I am not vegan, but when my vegan cousin came to visit, I took her to a Chinese vegan restaurant. I was pleased with the dishes we ordered...it had a very good taste. Of course, being a vegan is not my cup of tea. I have to give them credit for the thought and planning that went into the preparation.
Thank you for watching our videos! We don’t folks being honest. We feel our job is to show you what is out there and let you decide. We’re happy to try new things. It’s the only way to mix up the norm. 😁 Thank you for supporting us!
Well worth it@@ExploreVegas sorry, you clearly said the price at the beginning of your video and I totally missed it hehe. Thanks for the speedy reply. Love your videos.
I tried Crossroads with my husband and (vegan) daughter and I have to say…while not a vegan myself, they really put a lot of effort into this and it was pretty good for plant-based. And it was worth it to see my daughter so happy that she could eat everything without worry!
The buffet looks really good. But this kind of buffet in a Pennsylvania casino would cost about $24.99. There is another place not far from me that has a similar type breakfast buffet and it's like $18.99
hmm, im just starting the video but 48 bucks and vegan only? smart on their part as its cheap to serve that stuff, but i wouldnt pay that much. i was happy, however, to see a “new” buffet, being i have heard so many closed or will close. but, let me watch and see how it goes.
Definitely a reasonable thought. Everything is so expensive in LV. We are starting to see some more buffets little by little. We’re hopeful they will keep coming.
Very cool- I’ve been so curious about this place. Thank you for showing us what they had and reviewing the various options! :) On the same note, have you guys been to Blackout: Dining in the Dark? I know it’s also supposed to be plant-based and I’ve always wondered if it’s worth trying. The only hard thing is that it would be impossible to make a video inside in the dark without night vision goggles like the servers.
Im not vegan but I thank you for having am open mind to do this review. Im glad for tge Vegans that this is available. Love your channel and Mrs Explore Vegas is so cute.
The audience they (resorts world) are pandering to doesn't really exist on a resort level. A local small restaurant in a southern California area...sure. But on mass...this won't sustain. I don't see a profit margin here. Like it or not...business is business...
hey - it's worth the price! lol. Gotta support the cause. They shouldn't cheap themselves out - what - would you rather go and spend over $100 at the l'atelier in mgm?
I agree - if they didn't cheap themselves out with the cheaper options - like overnight oats (of course I love it - but at least put it in the regular section) and had more options - you're totally right.
i think the buffet is super cheap compared to vegas stsandards. for example I had 2 burgers, 2 portions of fries and 2 beer for 80 dollars + tip close to the flamingo and thought wow vegas is expensive. a kebap or falafel is $15 as a take away and its not even close to the size and quality we get in europe .. plus its around $5-8 in europe. another 2 slices of pizza with a drink are $30 for example. i think las vegas is one of the most expensive places in the world and i am speaking only of fast food not even real food. i am looking forward to visit the crossroads buffet on sunday.
Vegas is the number one Casino Market in the United States and the second largest casino state in United States is Pennsylvania, and the third-largest is Atlantic City New Jersey.
I'm not one for veggies eating but thank you for taking one for the team, just cause we don't eat it doesn't mean we don't want to see others reviewing it 😉
here's improvements I'd make to this buffet (some are in another comment, but placing it in one place): - eat meati crispy chicken - instead of whatever tofu-looking one that one was - hooray foods or sweet earth bacon - sophie's kitchen salmon lox - over carrot lox (which isn't too real) - hashbrowns - in addition to the rosti - grilled vegetable slices - like eggplant, potato, etc. (which're at the paris buffet on the vegas strip) - juice shots (even in gel form) for dessert - not just unhealthy cakes, etc. - jams and seeds (like chia, sesame, etc.) bowls on the charcuterie board - marinated caprese salad - but artichoke and/or eggplant instead of mozzarella - ratatouille
Good alternative for folks who lean that way... looks like a good variety, crafted products to look/taste close to their non-vegan counterparts... Disappointed by lack of original vegan creations... but I guess the chef needs to find what is marketable... But not my thing as I'm on keto... Too much processed food product subs, and high in carb and sugar count...

but it was filled with salads! 2:35 not to mention the fruit salads too.
You tried something different. It did look like you and your wife enjoyed this. Nothing but love for you both.

Thank you Elizabeth! 🥰
I love finding out about vegan 😋 foods or places that serve vegan plates or foods.
Glad we could introduce you to it! Thank you for watching!

Thank you for watching! ☺️
Oh and of course thank you, mrs. Explore for your great input! It would be neat to see a video of a recipe you both make and enjoy a lot. Cheers!
Thank you Andi! We need to do that some day!
It was so refreshing seeing your beautiful wife's genuine reaction because I get a bit nervous eating with people as a vegan.
I'm glad you reviewed it but they could have done more. Like Pizza, char grilled veggie kabobs, Stuffed mushrooms,a salad bar. Just for starters.
Those sound like some delicious suggestions!
Great video! Please make more vegan vegas videos! planning to go soon🤩

maybe one day veganism will be?
Very, very interesting to see what an upscale vegan buffet can offer.
That’s pretty much how we felt. 😀
That looks amazing, so going on the list
Glad you enjoyed the video. Enjoy the buffet! ☺️
Everything look delicious❤

So vegan means eggs, sausage fish is ok??
No. Vegan means no animal products so everything is plant based!
Dang. A lot of thought must’ve gone into the recipes and menus. Very clever idea. The eggs were egg substitute right? Pretty cool!
Oh just got to your review of the eggs\whatever they are made of. Thank you for a fun review!

There's a good sub made with mung beans, it's a bit dry if you're not careful though, but those look good.

At a vegan buffet, you have to eat the bread. Or at least a bagel.
I caved and ate a bagel. 😂
it was a sad toaster in the corner - at least put it next to the bagels!!
Thanks for showing us that, I can’t wait to go!
Thank you for watching, Tamee! We hope you enjoy the buffet!
Interesting that we have a vegan buffet. Even though I'm not vegan I wouldn't mind trying that one day to try something different.
It was a unique experience for sure!
The buffet looks really good. But this kind of buffet in a Pennsylvania casino would cost about $24.99. There is another place not far from me that has a similar type breakfast buffet and it's like $18.99

Just wondering. For $48 is it real 100% maple syrup or artificially maple flavored syrup? TIA
It’s real maple syrup. The syrup by itself is vegan. A lot of store bought syrups add contents that make it not vegan.
6:30 - ok, i have to say, that vegan friend chicken looks really good but the bacon is a HARD Pass, lol
Mrs. tried the bacon. It looked a little too crunchy for me.

that's about 25 bucks over the cost of what it should be.

Is whitefish vegan?
Its not whitefish. Everything in this buffet is made from vegan ingredients and made to look and taste like the real thing. Some items come extremely close while others are off.
It's imitation white fish. Without the animal cruelty & killing. Probably made out of soy, wheat, mix, etc.
can't they label the dishes for allergies?
Unfortunately most buffets do not.
Awesome
