Ya this kind of play is the stuff of champions. Only problem is everyone else is doing that where their characters. 2022 is the best fox, sheik, marth, and yoshi have ever looked by a long shot. The meta is just being pressed stupidly hard right now. I don’t know if melee has ever been more entertaining, and I’ve been watching competitive melee since 05’ 😅

That point one of the commentators made at 8:10 is actually so important for Jmook and he's the first person I've heard on the mic who's picked up on it. Jmook's CC knowledge throws opponents off tremendously - they are used to freeing up their whole suite of approach options once they get Sheik out of the basic CC percents but JMook squeezes out CC to its fullest and continues using it to force them to KNOW what is going to work.

Exactly! Even CC gods like Zain or N0ne stop at like 60% or less. Jmook does it way further and it isn't a risk-reward gamble (like I originally thought), but an actual play to get grabs or tilts that are guaranteed after this.
