"... I can't see anything I need to see.... so that helps...." quickly followed by a memory inducing litany of curses. This moment was literally like working on cars and heavy machinery with my dad when I was younger. Also, I'm starting to presume that Mike's Fitbit is made of stainless steel to survive these adventures! This was fascinating to watch and I'm so glad that the beast lives!

A guy bought one here and he was told it was in great shape. Well the pump is about gone so we are going to replace it too in a few days. Got to always pull stuff off out of the way. That's mechanic work. Radiator has to come out.

such a pain in the butt to do the job!!!!! We are going to have to buy a seal kit, and then find a way to yank all of that apart without other heavy machinery! Best of luck on replacing the pump, and let us know if Mike can give you any info on the process.

We love you guys, I'm so glad the tractor is back up. I'm so excited for you!

Despite knowing that the tractor lives, I was on the edge of my seat hoping things would work out. Totally get the expletive tirade, that was wildly frustrating. And in the end, competence porn. That was some incredibly delicate work clearing the ice. Thanks for the roller coaster ride.

He constantly amazes me with the things that he pulls off.

I think when the hydraulics went out he was able to kind of park it somewhere but that was it because the outriggers, bucket, and everything came down, and I can’t remember if it even wanted to move or if it was just the weight of it that helped us get it parked.

    Just like you won't call a bagel a donut, that's a backhoe.

You aren't kidding. I'm staring at a giant fan that is sitting about 10 feet away from me for Mike to put into the backhoe. At some point I think we will get another piece of equipment, but that was our entire budget so we just have to deal with it for now. It is what it is and we learned a lesson for sure. I hope the dude that sold it to us goes out of business though.
