ok so my question is this in addition to the pouches that are made into my backpack waist straps? I did a test run before the weather got bad and they were fairly big(one on each strap) .... thanks for sharing this info 🧡
100% in addition. Those side pockets or hip pockets are great. However they are significantly less convenient then the strap especially for the phone. It truly makes a huge difference. For me I put my water filter knife and other important items in the hip strap, and phone, snacks, sunscreen and chapstick in the strap pocket since I am using them over and over in the hike
