Thank you for all the work you put into bringing us these great videos. I've been following your anti-aging skin care routine for over a year. Last night I got another compliment on my skin. I had just met this woman when she said "You have amazing skin." Earlier this year I went to urgent care, with the flu. I had, of course, done my morning skin care routine before going. I felt horrible so it was particularly noteworthy that the medial technician told me my skin was glowing. I tell everyone "I owe it to "Angie, Hot & Flashy." Thank you.

She does look amazing, she’s beautiful but unfortunately it’s not just these skincare products that did that. She also gets Botox I believe she mentions it in a previous video and trust me I’m not hating on Botox or fillers I’m all for it however I’m just saying that it’s not just these products that made her face flawless like it is .
Thank you so much for this information. I’m late to the party on skincare (age 55) and really just started taking better care of my skin this last year. I’m hoping better late than never!
Thanks Angie! I’ve been following you for awhile and now use many of the products you demonstrate (Curology, Timeless, CeraVe,) and I know my skin has improved and is holding up well against the onset of aging!
Very educational and I greatly appreciate the fact that you're not pushing products. You're actually helping people by providing factual information. You're awesome! Thanks.
Are you doing something different? Your makeup/skin/eyes look GREAT!! Love the natural, yet made up look. Very pretty! Very well done. Thanks for explaining all of this stuff!!!!!!
The placenta is the best for anti-aging skincare. I used Australian Placenta products for years, most wrinkles on the face and neck were gradually gone within 2 years. It is really amazing! I used to order them from Australia, but now Amazon has them. I am using 100% natural Placenta Serum ( liquid type) Q 10 nano serum II Q10 nourishment cream They really works!
Thanks Angie. I use Azelaic acid myslef as my acid of choice from the Ordinary. I also like the niacinimide and buffet serums. Heads up, hydroquinone should not be used indefinitely. Breaks are needed.
Angie, you are the "Ideal" that all RUclipsrs strive to emulate. Always informative. I have modeled my routines on yours and thank you for your thorough, science based approach. 😊
So very helpful! Especially the print out. Your skin looks amazing; you certainly take such good care of yourself. Thank you for all that you share with us! God bless!
First of all you are absolutely gorgeous and inspire me so much! I’m 41 years old and really do not know very much about makeup. Thankfully I have been faithfully wearing sunblock since I was in my 20s but as far as makeup I have so much to learn! I have gained insight from your wonderful videos. Thank you for sharing your recommendation, I find them very helpful 🙌
I wish I would have known about Retin A and started using it in my 30's. Look at Melissa after 60 to see the proof of what it does for skin over time. I believe she started using it in her 30's.
I just took my one year anniversary pictures and uploaded them on the Curology website. I was pretty surprised at the difference in my skin compared to my photos from last year after following your skin routine- even at the lowest Tretinoin strength. I’m really encouraged and so grateful for all of your recommendations! 🙂
Being in my late 30’s, I feel like my skin is changing every day. I’m trying to be ok with aging and the changes that come along with that as best as I can. It’s hard sometimes to go with the flow and feel like I have any control over it at all. Thank you for being the voice that is helping me learn how to navigate these new waters. 😎
Your videos are the only ones I use for makeup and anti aging. Keep doing what your doing and you look more amazing each year. You have taught me so much
Angie, you are the super skin care woman, lol, yay! I've been watching for a year now and found out that my daughter has been watching you for even longer. It's a good thing 😊 Thank you for sharing and taking so much time to gather your information and explain it all. Thanks again. May God bless you and your family.
I’m so HAPPY that you have a print out to go with this post! My head was spinning when you started. I didn’t think it was going to be useful. I’m happy I watched to the end when you cued to the printout. I really enjoy your posts, I find you trustworthy and knowledgeable. Thank you.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that the Cerave cleanser burns my face??? I know it's supposed to be gentle and hydrating so I keep trying it but it burns!!!
I've been following your routine for about a month now and I was using AG mineral SPF50 but I FINALLY was able to get my hands on the AG tinted sunscreen and used it today for the first time. I LOVE it!
This was a very smart and well-curated skincare routine. While everyone's skin is different, more people should take notes from this video and stop applying products randomly or the way all these influencers tell them to.
I'm going out today & buying everything on this list! My husband has been working 7 days/12 hour days at Ford for 2 months & I'm ready to spend, spend, spend today! 🙂
I do your routine and have for some time. Being in my 50's, these are three products I can't be without - Retin A, vitamin C serum and sunscreen. Congrats on 500k, that's awesome!! I've been a long time viewer, since your channel was much smaller. I'm so happy to see how much it's grown over the years. You deserve it! You're such a wealth of information. Thank you for all you do!💜
I recently discovered CeraVe and I love how all of their products are fragrance free, affordable and easy to find. I’m having difficulty finding a good fragrance free sunscreen that doesn’t leave a white cast on my face, that isn’t too shiny, and that doesn’t irritate my eyes. I’m going to try a few of the mineral sunscreens that you’ve recommended. Thanks for all of your great tips! ❤️
Gosh, you've come a long way since 5K subs when I got hooked - well done Angie and thank you for sharing. Keep up the enhusiasm - next up 1M subs. Hello from London x
Another extremely helpful and informative video!!!! Thanks so much Angie! I’ve been watching you since you had about 35K subs. It’s so amazing to see the growth your channel has had!!!!! My entire skincare routine has been centered around your recommendations for the past 5 yrs or so. Just the other day I ran into a lady from my 1988 graduating class. I hadn’t seen her since we graduated. Not to toot my own horn, but as we were talking, I kept thinking to myself that I felt I had aged much more gracefully!!!!! That would be 100% due to my skincare routine which has been modeled after your recommendations. So HUGE THANK YOU to you!!!!!!!
Yay just what I needed. I do almost everything you do as I've been with you forever :) Thanks for giving us affordable choices and reminding me I need to do the peel which I have never used. You are so helpful and thorough, grateful for you Angie. Hugs and Love xoxo
YourGoodSkin is also a great drugstore line (products as recommended by Nadine Baggott and Dr. Dray ). Its affordable and can be used over eyes. I too loved old Cerave-removed everything without need for double cleanse; now burns. Neutrogena is Ok-requires double cleanse-as it isn't for eyes per label and it does irritate. For those on a budget--the YourGoodSkin products are worth a try. I have had success with cleansers and their salicylic acid products are effective too. Thanks to Angie have used and loved Timeless (especially Vit. C) for quite some. time.
@@janiceweaver6945 I'm not sure what you've tried but I had the same reaction with tretinoin. I found my skin likes tretinoin every second day. I put it on top of my CeraVe pm cream. I allow the cream to completely dry before I apply the tretinoin. If my skin feels irritated I may skip an extra day. I also diluted my tretinoin with moisturizer 50:50 for the first three months. Even with these precautions I had peeling for the first two months. When I peeled I was careful not to rub. I would put CeraVe in the tub on my skin day and night and add more through the day if I noticed dry spots. I'm six months in now and my skin is much better.
This video came on a day that I was trying to figure out a routine for myself. I go on RUclips and there YOU are with what I was wondering about. Watching the video really answered A LOT of my questions and I already use several of the products you mentioned. So, I guess I'm moving in the right direction for my skin routine. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge with us who are searching for help. I will be turning 50 next year and am trying to get a good routine down for the years to come. Thanks again, you make all the confusion easier to understand.
Thank you, Angie. That was so informative. I listened twice. Once before I printed out your directions and then a second time, reading along with the directions, making notes as I watched you explain it again. I wish I had known about the sunscreen and the gel nail connection a long time ago. I remember one day my manicurist asked me what was wrong with my hands and they looked awful. Old and wrinkled. I actually didn't realize what was going on for a long time. Then I decided to go with the powder gel nails. So now if I even think of doing gel nails I will use sunscreen before I go. Thank you. That was a lot of work for you to do for us. Much appreciation.
Thank you, you are aweseome AND I super appreciate that you don't use a crazy app that makes your face look CRAZY blurred and awesome no matter what you use. I can tell you're not using using it THANK YOU! for being honest! LOVE YOU
U are the skin care queen, I have %90 percent of the product u have, I ve been following you for years and I love the fact that u don’t switch products a lot
Thank you so much for this, Angie! I feel so fortunate to have found your channel. I am 67 & have fine-textured slightly dry skin. For most of my life I have been careful to stay out of direct sun because as a small child I would burn & even blister after 15 or 20 minutes playing outside. I have typically used sunscreen only in summer & when exposure was unavoidable. I really appreciate your strategy with sunscreens and have finally noticed enough collagen loss & changes to my skin to take sunscreen seriously. Gratefully, there are many better products today & have found your recommendations to be invaluable. Also, I have been using CeraVe cleanser & lotion products for several years after learning about those from a friend. I am now in the process of building up a proper skin care routine, as well as makeup for the first time & am taking your product reviews & suggestions to heart, and am so appreciative of the research you do on the ingredients! In this process I came across a product line called Mineral Fusion. Because I've been binge watching your channel, & Lisa Eldridge's As well as a couple of dematologists' channels, I am becoming competent at reading labels The Mineral Fusion products seem so good, and are at great price points, but I noticed that the descriptions on Amazon lists state of CA warnings of lead (!!) exposure for many of their products. I wonder if you know anything about this, as I cannot see anything in their ingredient lists that would explain that. Am I missing something? Have you tried any of them? If not, why not, and can you suggest the best way to find that information? I am about to visit their website to learn more, but I had the thought that you may know of an additional source. Thanks for any suggestion you may have on this, and thank you so much for being a great source of education for me on my journey toward better skincare!! ♥️
Gabriella Dots hey -a good rule to keep in your head is the thinnest to thickest that she mentioned. Even though she doesn’t use that rule at night if you’re just staring out I would recommend going by that until you become more comfortable with the routine and might want to tweak or change it up. PS I know I replied a little late so how are things going since you wrote this ?
Alpha Skincare makes a 14% glycolic as well. It’s a watery, decidedly non-luxurious product - but I used it for years and it really works. I think it’s perfect for someone just starting out with anti-aging products. Like with all of these products, start out slow, maybe with the 10% cream version recommended here, use it every other day or a few times a week, working up to every night, and eventually working up to the 14%. My years of using this product, and then Differin for several weeks, made the transition to Tretinoin very easy. (Differin works great, and fast - especially for fading sun spots!) Now that I’m using Retin A at night, I’m thinking of using the Alpha 14% in the AM. I also just started using it on my forearms and hands. The PH is at the right level for effectiveness, and it’s under $20 for a good size bottle that lasts a long, long time. I never see it in stores anymore. Used to find it at Walgreens and some other drugstores and a local beauty supply, but now I can only find it online. I also just started using the La Roche Posey Toleraine Cleanser - I like it much better than Cerave Hydrating. It doesn’t leave that sticky film behind. Slowly trying to wean myself from foaming cleansers, even the ones for sensitive skin, which I use at night with a pre-oil cleanse, to remove makeup and sunscreen. I am loving the Hada Labo oil, which I first heard about from Dr Dray’s channel - between $13 - $18 on Amazon. That oil is amazing. It removes every last speck of even the most stubborn eye makeup. But I SO agree with you that decent, effective, and even luxurious products can be found at great prices at the drugstore or stores like Walmart! The only skin care items I use that are over $20 (besides the Tretinoin, of course) are my sunscreens and tinted sunscreens.
Seriously the BEST video ever Angie! You are so knowledgeable about all at this and really take your time researching and finding great skin care items at great prices! And taking the time to remake an older video explaining how and when to apply certain products...thank you! For all your hard work and knowledge! Thank you!
Thank you so much! I’m 25 and want to educate myself and make sure I start early so I can age as elegantly as you, and you are all round amazing at making this chemistry class fun and accessible. You are literally goals and I hope to look even half as good as you when I’m this age ♥️
I use the nuetrogena eye cream anti-wrinkle with retinol-A along with a cetaphil moisturiser made for eyes, at night. In the morning I just use the moisturizer on my eyes.
I love that one doesn’t have to spend a small fortune for great skincare. It is confusing as to what order to apply so thanks so much for explaining what order you apply products. Thanks 🙏
Thank you Angie! ❤️ Basicly my routine too! Good to know I'm doing it right! 😘 Except the CoQ10 serum, which I didn't k ow came as a serum! I love that spf powder for touchups!! I'm using the differen gel at night. I'm up to every night, with no irritation! I'm using Olay Hydro boost over that after it dries. It is so moisturizing.
Just a helpful hint: If you're watching this video, you may be older and be on a budget, so what I'm about to recommend wouldn't fit in this video, BUT you and your eyes will thank me! It's the ESTÉE LAUDER TAKE IT AWAY (blue bottle with a pump, lotion consistency). It costs $30 for 5.4 ounces. I only use it on my eyes. I just use two pumps per eye, blink my lashes over my index finger a few times, and then gently rub it off with a cloth. It will take off anything waterproof liner, mascara, shadows that stain the eye, glitter, ANYTHING. From start to finish, it's 20 seconds per eye. And there's actually no tugging on the eye. Come to think of it, I don't even touch the bottom eye area using this. Oh, and it doesn't burn your eyes at all. I use a cheaper balm for the rest of the face.
I still don’t understand using any AHAs/BHAs or any exfoliant during the day. Makes skin more sensitive to the sun and too many layers under sunscreen for me.
Monika Nan yes but when you apply it it is actually in the process of being exfoliated and it takes away from the effectiveness of the sunscreen. It doesn’t make sense to me. Wear a thick layer of zinc on your face during the day if that’s what you do.
@@Lulu-kt6gr chemical peels don't work that way. They peel over the time not right that moment. I believe that you didn't get the wholer concept of chemical peels. I don't use acids at all any more, only tretinoin, but this is not the subject here.
Monika Nan Why does everyone rightly say not to use Retin-A outdoors? The answer is because it makes your skin more sensitive to the sun. If that is the case and it is then why would it be any different with other chemicals that make your skin more sensitive to the sun?
maria G You are right about retinoids but I think it’s because it not only makes the skin more photosensitive but also causes the product to be less effective.

I am using
100% natural Placenta Serum ( liquid type)
Q 10 nano serum II
Q10 nourishment cream
They really works!
God bless!
Where is it?
First of all you are absolutely gorgeous and inspire me so much! I’m 41 years old and really do not know very much about makeup. Thankfully I have been faithfully wearing sunblock since I was in my 20s but as far as makeup I have so much to learn! I have gained insight from your wonderful videos. Thank you for sharing your recommendation, I find them very helpful 🙌
I am in my 30s and have pretty good skin but I love the advice you give and have started using some of your recommendations. Thank you
I wish I would have known about Retin A and started using it in my 30's.
You have taught me so much
Now that The Ordinary is available at Ulta, there are even more affordable options you can just run out and get without having to wait on shipping!
Tina H in store?
Right now, online. But a search turned up that it will roll out to 400 stores Aug 5!
Angie, you are the super skin care woman, lol, yay! I've been watching for a year now and found out that my daughter has been watching you for even longer. It's a good thing 😊
Thank you for sharing and taking so much time to gather your information and explain it all. Thanks again.
May God bless you and your family.
I agree they have changed CeraVe so I now use the Walmart version and it is great...just like the old CeraVe.
Me too...it’s great!
Ooohhh, thanks! I'll check it out!
I use the Walmart version, too.
Thanks for the info on the CeraVe formula change. I’m going to check out Walmart’s version
does anyone know why CeraVe stings a bit? It's not uncomfortable, but I worry that it shouldn't be stinging....
Who would love to see Angie and Mixed makeup team up? They both always give such amazing information
The CeraVe cleanser stings my skin too. WalMart sells their generic brand Equate copy of the CeraVe that doesn't sting me.
I've been following your routine for about a month now and I was using AG mineral SPF50 but I FINALLY was able to get my hands on the AG tinted sunscreen and used it today for the first time. I LOVE it!
Angie, I love when you do that’s videos. I have followed your steps for years. Thanks so much for all you do. You are so appreciated ❤️
None of these products Lengthens Telomeres ... Whats the fucken point ! : (
@@matthewnelson325 The point? Look at Angies skin, and you have your answer! Glowing skin until you die. 👍
Litteraly just discovered your channel and I’m obsessed!
This was a very smart and well-curated skincare routine. While everyone's skin is different, more people should take notes from this video and stop applying products randomly or the way all these influencers tell them to.
This is such a helpful post. The first time I've heard anyone recommend the steps based on thickness of product. Totally makes sense, thanks!
Hi Angie, You got me hooked on CeraVe products years ago, and I love them!!!
C) for quite some. time.
Congrats on 500k milestone 🎉 Another helpful summary. I follow your skin care regime for about 4 years and I can see the difference. 😊
Thanks so much!!
Angie is loveable. Her skincare routine is lovely to watch and easy to follow.
If you are adventurous, Pixi Glow has 20% glycolic peel pads . You can buy them in Target.
Anonymous65 This may be a great option for me. I've been trying for 2 years to use Retin-A and my face always looks like a snake.
Just wondering if you know anything about Red Light Therapy for treatment of wrinkles, sun spots, etc. of the face?
Love love love your channel! Thank you for your help in keeping us young looking.
Thank you, you are aweseome AND I super appreciate that you don't use a crazy app that makes your face look CRAZY blurred and awesome no matter what you use. I can tell you're not using using it THANK YOU! for being honest! LOVE YOU
You look young as ever! I definely trust you on this as it shows on how young and fresh you radiates! Much love❤️
She does look good
But don't 4 get she had some work down on her face .but she doesn't hide it like some
She will tell u, that's why I trust her.
U are the skin care queen, I have %90 percent of the product u have, I ve been following you for years and I love the fact that u don’t switch products a lot
I use No.7 Vit C serum. It really is good...good, as in I saw a real brightening to my skin.
Omg this is overwhelming... ....I am trying to get started
Follow the link to her blog for the downloadable list! It’s amazing.
Cleanse, moisturize, sunscreen. The more products you use, the more likely you are to wreck your skin
(Differin works great, and fast - especially for fading sun spots!)
Now that I’m using Retin A at night, I’m thinking of using the Alpha 14% in the AM.
Another great video, Thank you Angie for your amazing reviews and tutorials. Love your channel!
Seriously the BEST video ever Angie! You are so knowledgeable about all at this and really take your time researching and finding great skin care items at great prices! And taking the time to remake an older video explaining how and when to apply certain products...thank you! For all your hard work and knowledge! Thank you!
Love these affordable skin care products!
Thank you so much! I’m 25 and want to educate myself and make sure I start early so I can age as elegantly as you, and you are all round amazing at making this chemistry class fun and accessible. You are literally goals and I hope to look even half as good as you when I’m this age ♥️
I am thrilled at the idea of a powder sunscreen in a small purse size. Thanks!
(Note: you look lovely.)
I use the nuetrogena eye cream anti-wrinkle with retinol-A along with a cetaphil moisturiser made for eyes, at night. In the morning I just use the moisturizer on my eyes.
I didn’t know Cereve cleanser was reformulated. That stinks. Can you do a tutorial on your makeup? Your eyes really pop.
I don’t have any issue with it 🤷♀️
All you need to do is look she has lots of make up videos
I love that one doesn’t have to spend a small fortune for great skincare. It is confusing as to what order to apply so thanks so much for explaining what order you apply products. Thanks 🙏
Beeen following you since 4000 subscribers! Wonder if you ever tried timeless hydraulic acid. I know you are a fan of their vitamin C.
Debbie Helm they use hyaluronic acid in their other serums so she doesn’t use a separate HA product
I was like hydraulic acid, what?
Thank you Angie! ❤️ Basicly my routine too! Good to know I'm doing it right! 😘 Except the CoQ10 serum, which I didn't k ow came as a serum! I love that spf powder for touchups!! I'm using the differen gel at night. I'm up to every night, with no irritation! I'm using Olay Hydro boost over that after it dries. It is so moisturizing.
Great videos! I'm always curious - you never mention specific skin care products for your eyes. Are you using your general creams under your eyes?
Karen Vasta I am wondering the same thing!
Yeah!!! Another great video that going to my “saved” playlist. Thanks, Angie!!! Happy Friday!!!
I use the CeraVe vitamin c twice a day to get the 20..going out to get the Derma E sunscreen..thank you for recommendation
I’d never heard of a powder sunscreen. As a fair redhead, this would be a life saver. Thank you!
i notice you rarely if ever mention toners...do you use toners?
Your makeup looks fabulous on this video - such a gorgeous look.
So overwhelming. Could you do a simplified version ?
I've watched the other more in depth videos but I like this rundown a lot. Much easier to keep track of all the products.
After all this time are you still doing Curology or have you gone back to just RetinA?
You’re looking lovelier now than when I first started watching you Angie - you’re a great advert for the products you use!
I appreciate that you do this research for us.
Wow! Thank you sooo... much for the link to the printable guide! I cannot tell you how amazing that is.
Retinol is light and air sensitive, this is why I am suprised that Neutrogena put retinol product in a jar.
More of these vids please! Also very much wanted; multi-purpose products for face/body for the more minimalists among us.
eunshilpark Check out Dr. Sam Bunting’s videos.
I still don’t understand using any AHAs/BHAs or any exfoliant during the day. Makes skin more sensitive to the sun and too many layers under sunscreen for me.
your exfoliated skin is sensitive to su no matter when during the day you exfoliated it. It is not like you grow new skin layer over night.
