Interesting walk about in the Philippines market. Lots of stuff to browse around. RM70 for 3 pearl items is very reasonable. Shout- out to Hanafi for recommending his cousin's shop. Those are cultured/farmed pearls. Yeah, cultured/real pearls come in irregular shapes and real pearls are expensive. That pearl bracelet looks nice on you, Ivana. Princess Jacel Kiram, daughter of the late Sultan Jamalul Kiram III, maintains their bid to enforce a $14.9-billion arbitration award they won against Malaysia. A French arbitration court in February ordered Malaysia to pay the sum to the descendents of the last Sultan of Sulu to settle a dispute over a colonial-era land deal regarding Sabah. Malaysia said on Wednesday the Paris Court of Appeal had stayed the ruling, after finding that enforcement of the award could infringe the country's sovereignty. The heirs to the last Sultan of Sulu said they entered a deal in 1878 with a British trading company to utilize resources in Sabah. Steve, I think if you check, the "KK urban area", including other districts like Penampang, Putatan and bits of both Papar and Tuaran, has about a million people. And it feel likes it too. Traffic jams and everything.

Welcome to kota kinabalu bro....even though our City is not perfect compare to other cities in Malaysia such as Melaka,JB,Penang,Kl and Klang valley cities due to our abundance uncontrollabe of immigrant but we still have lots of beautiful island nearby with pristine crystal clear seashore and our cool Kokol hill nearby...Sabah in fact the most beautiful state in Malaysia..No question
@@zailinahmad9695 yeah i never actually underrate my city..in fact i am even overproud of it if im telling about kk to my fellow non sabahan about how exciting kota kinabalu city is...but what im saying we are not on other big cities level, in Semenajung area such as the BIG 5(klang Valley cities including KL,Johor Bahru,Penang,Melaka city and Putrajaya) is because of our city beautification sight , orderliness and Cleanliness...we are far behind all of this cities i listed.what bothersome also their countless of immigrant PATI in and out the city which make it even worse!!..also KK city lack of unique and advance architechtural design be it short or tall building....Kuching city is even Way more advance and clean with tidyness than KK city...not to mention the Sarawak capital city full of pockets of Beautiful variety of garden in and around the city....lets just say if kota kinabalu doesn't have nice shoreline such as pristine beautiful beach and Endless heavenly Hills and mountain, i dont even think KK will be as viral as it is now EVEN now!!...our city is also lucky that we have plenty seafood option with cheap bargain and so forth..other than that, Kota kinabalu city is actually one of a boring city ever alive....as we seen in this video above, both of them even almost ' No way to go'..other than museum, and Handricraft and souvenir market...other historical site almost non existent and not properly cared...other sighseeing area such as observation lookout at Bukit Bendera also in renovation for almost 2 year..and it doesn't looks like it will be complete and open within anyway soon....so practically the city area kind a like bland town.even the waterfront in front of Marriot hotel kk is not properly build and not well-maintained....and not much story to be tell other who have did been here to their relatives...lucklily, kk city nightlife plenty dotted in downtown city particularly Waterfront anjung Samudera area...which is the epicentre of KK nighlife scene....so it is not that i try to spread Cons or not proud..but i just feel it's quit sad that government always take granted on developing more safety, advance, excellent street scape as well as great insfrastructure and cleanliness around the Metropolitans...imagine if Kota kinabalu having the same treatment as the goverment of Sarawak manage their cities especially kuching,, we will be the best cities in Malaysia because in addition to our aplenty of luxury hotels and beautiful island and mountain/hills nearby, we will get the same recognition as Bali,Hawaii, Gold coast or even Singapore..

Are you still in sabah? Should have go to kota belud. Lot of places to go. Hiking and beach. Its a hidden gems in sabah. Go to sangkir kb. Cabbana resort in rampayan laut. U can go watch bayau n fireflies in kota belud. Hiking in kota belud. Also have pulau mantanani.
Sabah is one of the parties together with Sarawak , Singapore and Malaya that formed Malaysia on 16th September 1963. The decision to join was after consultation with the people through the auspices of the UN. We Sabahans take our sovereignty seriously. We are a free people not owned by anyone. Perhaps the Philippines should give back the land owned by the Sultan of Sulu in the Philippines first and recognise the Sultan of Sulu as your sovereign ?
Technically the sultan entrusted Sabah and Sulu to the Philippines. It's ours by right, history and with all legality thus the arbitration court has ruled it thus

If so, the mini Gotham City in front of you would be KK Times Square, called that in the old days anyhow. It wasn't there before and neither was Sutera Harbour. The marina around there was where a very old friend of mine spent most of his time conducting his social intercourse and business meetings (the same thing?). At least that's what his wife would say.

Strange sequence of travels in Sabah: you attended the harvest festival in Penanmpang, East KK, then went around Sabah, Sarawak, then back to KK which is the capital of Sabah. Ampleng (fish cracker balls) is unique to Sabah - we always buy a few bags to bring home to West M'sia as gifts. You guys on your road trip through Sarawak had coal roasted & marinated chicken butt, so not a new item.
Don't forget to go to Tg. Aru Wah Juan coffee shop for bfast. Must go there on Tuesday to Sunday. 8am to 11am open. Few hours only open. Than order a CHU CAP kou lou mee. One of the best local Chinese food.

@@zailinahmad9695 yeah i never actually underrate my city..in fact i am even overproud of it if im telling about kk to my fellow non sabahan about how exciting kota kinabalu city is...but what im saying we are not on other big cities level, in Semenajung area such as the BIG 5(klang Valley cities including KL,Johor Bahru,Penang,Melaka city and Putrajaya) is because of our city beautification sight , orderliness and Cleanliness...we are far behind all of this cities i listed.what bothersome also their countless of immigrant PATI in and out the city which make it even worse!!..also KK city lack of unique and advance architechtural design be it short or tall building....Kuching city is even Way more advance and clean with tidyness than KK city...not to mention the Sarawak capital city full of pockets of Beautiful variety of garden in and around the city....lets just say if kota kinabalu doesn't have nice shoreline such as pristine beautiful beach and Endless heavenly Hills and mountain, i dont even think KK will be as viral as it is now EVEN now!!...our city is also lucky that we have plenty seafood option with cheap bargain and so forth..other than that, Kota kinabalu city is actually one of a boring city ever alive....as we seen in this video above, both of them even almost ' No way to go'..other than museum, and Handricraft and souvenir market...other historical site almost non existent and not properly cared...other sighseeing area such as observation lookout at Bukit Bendera also in renovation for almost 2 year..and it doesn't looks like it will be complete and open within anyway soon....so practically the city area kind a like bland town.even the waterfront in front of Marriot hotel kk is not properly build and not well-maintained....and not much story to be tell other who have did been here to their relatives...lucklily, kk city nightlife plenty dotted in downtown city particularly Waterfront anjung Samudera area...which is the epicentre of KK nighlife scene....so it is not that i try to spread Cons or not proud..but i just feel it's quit sad that government always take granted on developing more safety, advance, excellent street scape as well as great insfrastructure and cleanliness around the Metropolitans...imagine if Kota kinabalu having the same treatment as the goverment of Sarawak manage their cities especially kuching,, we will be the best cities in Malaysia because in addition to our aplenty of luxury hotels and beautiful island and mountain/hills nearby, we will get the same recognition as Bali,Hawaii, Gold coast or even Singapore..

Strange sequence of travels in Sabah: you attended the harvest festival in Penanmpang, East KK, then went around Sabah, Sarawak, then back to KK which is the capital of Sabah. Ampleng (fish cracker balls) is unique to Sabah - we always buy a few bags to bring home to West M'sia as gifts. You guys on your road trip through Sarawak had coal roasted & marinated chicken butt, so not a new item.

In 2018 after Najib Razak gov (BN) fall n new gove P.akatan H.arapan era begin, in this P.akatan H.arapan include mahathir mohamad who first also BN gove join PH gove they all is a enemy of najib razak, at that time AG thommy thomas send letter to sulu heirs said he regret with najib razak gov stop paying annual cession money even know what happen in 2013. in feb 2022 sulu heir win in french court bec using false letter made by thommy thomas to them, now my new gov already take action about thomy thomas mistake n the change to win is HIGH👍if pinoi ppl here think with just claiming sabah is ph without knowing real history n act like TROLL to disturb n annoying ppl (tourist) in malaysia u guys mistake 😎
