    in these situations I also like to think in terms of accents, you keep the same right hand pattern but put the accents at different times, and the groove already changes

    Great video! What microphone are you using to record vocal audio in this? Is that same microphone recording your guitar too, or is that DI?

      I believe that is a Rode Nt 1A. The guitar sounds like it is DI’d with the microphone audio on top giving you the finger sounds as well as the sustain. Just a guess!
